Hey Peter Parker in Gotham writers! I've had a thought!

You know how Peter has what he calls the "Parker Luck" where people around him get hurt?

What if it's an actual thing? Like a curse or a protective charm done wrong?

If that's the case why did none of the sorcerer's do anything about it? Maybe it was too strong, maybe it was done by someone from another universe so it follows different rules, maybe it was done in such a subtle way that they don't recognize it unless they're actively looking for it.

Either way Peter ends up in Gotham which makes his Parker Luck go into overdrive. So much so that the bat's all take one look at our boy and go "something isn't right here, this smells of bad vibes." And they consult Constantine.

So Constantine takes one look at our boy and goes "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS SHITE?!" And proceeds to do his best to

A. Figure out exactly wtf happened.

B. Find the bugger who did it and kick their ass.

And C. Break the darn thing because no one deserves that.

Playing Witcher 3 and I finally get to Skellige. I can see why so many people love it!

Though there was a moment where two guards were talking. One was telling the other about all the different ways birds make sounds, telling him what bird made what sound. The other guard even asked about a bird the other didn't mention.

FNAF and NBC's Hannibal in the same universe

Hear me out,

Michael Afton goes around trying to set things right, stop his dad, all that jazz.

This dude has so much trauma in Canon but what if it tipped the scale more? Michael doesn't just go after his dad, he goes after anyone that hurts kids.

His go to could be a combo of broken bones (done using cobbled together bits of leftover animatronics) and fire.

Doesn't matter how you work things in the timeline to make it work.

There's been so many bodies that the FBI are called in and Will tries to make sense of what he sees.

How could the haunted animatronic's come into play?

How would the Hannibal cast react to meeting post scoop Mike?

How does Mike hide how bad his body is doing?

Would William make an appearance and how would he react to the Hannibal cast?

How would the Hannibal cast react to knowing ghosts are a thing and that there's weird metal stuff that can affect people in odd ways?

There's a lot of interesting ways this could go. Not a crossover one would expect but also one that should have at least had one story all things considered.

A hero and a villain

The hero didn't want to be a hero but their powers were discovered early and they didn't have a choice.

The villain is their friend who turned to villainy so that they could be the one Hero is sent after. This way neither will have to ACTUALLY fight.

Then, one day, the hero has a new tick. Fingers tapping against their leg a specific number of times.

Both of them REALLY fight now, resulting in the villain using the weaknesses that the hero told them about.

The hero "dies" and the villain vanishes.

Civilians don't notice when the high ranking hero commission members starts dropping, those are just businessmen not the heroes they see every day.

Turns out the commission got tired of the little game the hero and villain were playing and decided to try a little....experiment on the hero.

A device that would turn the hero into their literal puppet.

Too bad they didn't know the hero and villain planned for it, or rather they made plans for a lot of different possibilities.

The hero is in a medical coma for their own safety while the villain not only looks for a way to fix their friend but goes after the person's in charge of the whole scheme.

Fanfiction writers. I've an idea for you! Stranger things fic idea that can be platonic or romantic, just mostly angst and healing. Steve centric.

I've seen a lot of people saying that the characters don't pay Steve's character growth much attention beyond his initial "not an asshole anymore" or just the fact they keep digging at him being "ditzy" "an air head" "why do we have to explain everything to you?!" Thing.

People also say Eddie is one of the few who didn't do that. He was kind, understanding, ect.

Well let's take this and work with it.

Post S4 where Vecna turns Eddie into a pawn but fucked up enough that Eddie HATES him and how he treats him and the others. There is a slowly growing secondary horde hivemind with Eddie as the start. But they gotta be careful or Vecna will notice.

Kas!Eddie doesn't remember being Eddie but some aspects of his personality remain, including his habit of collecting strays.

So when he's sent to Hawkins to kill one of the party members, one that would break them all, he takes notice of Steve. He KNOWS he's the glue to the group but to his mind he sees everyone else is treating Steve like Vecna treats him.

He also notices this human is sick, bites from the flyers had become infected and no one has noticed.

Kas!Eddie sees this as an opportunity to technically complete his mission while gaining a new member to his own Horde. So he sneaks into Steve's house in the dead of night while the young man is sleeping.

Steve is curled up in bed, feeling cold but sweating from his fever. He wakes but is so out of it from the fever that he is near incoherent.

He sees Eddie smiling at him but it feels off, he has enough time awake to feel a cold hand on his head and the feeling of falling before he passes out.

Kas!Eddie is very vampire esk but also gained Vecna like powers, including that of fiddling with the mind. So he sits beside Steve, brushes hair out of his face, and gets to work.

He looks into Steve's mind and sees how protective he is of "the ones who hurt him" he even sees his own face in the memories (so he was something else before he was this, thats good to know).

He works slow, causing Steve's brain to emphasize all the faults, hurts, and neglect by the other humans. He also calls up his want of the experiences with Eddie.

He doesn't do it all in one night.

It's a subtle change that takes several days. Making it all seem like a natural progression.

Steve starts to pull away from the others which unfortunately goes unnoticed due to everything going on. He experiences on again off again fevers from the infections in the demobat bites but they haven't gotten worse so he hasn't started to panic yet.

Steve has "dreams" during his fever nights where a very pale Eddie takes care of him. Tutting at his wounds, resting his cold hands on Steve's forehead, even feeding him cooled tomato soup (spoiler, it's not soup).

At one point Steve wakes up and cries because even a dream dead guy cares more than his friends.

Steve doesn't notice how easier it is to be in the cold now. He doesn't notice when he starts cooking meat rarer and rarer. He doesn't notice when his friends start to look at him in confusion because they're starting to realize he's acting off.

It's then that the last part of Eddie's plan commenced. He uses the knowledge of his past self, (learned by looking into the mind of Steve, corroded coffin guys, and Wayne Munson) to act in a way that would put Steve at ease.

He wakes Steve up, apologized for dying, tells Steve what Vecna has been doing and mentions how it mirrors what is being done to him way to much. Or something like that??

Either way he offers to take Steve with him where they can not only get away from this damn town but also Kill Vecna. Steve, after weeks of unknown "help" readily agrees.

Eddie tells Steve that he is like him thanks to the venom of the demobats, which is why they were infected so badly. This is only partially true, he's also been feeding Steve his own blood for a while to make sure he survived the change.

So we have kinda dark Kas!Eddie taking care of hurt Steve all while they both work on killing Vecna.

Once it's all said and done, perhaps they stay as they are, perhaps they revert back and Eddie has a crisis of "omg what have I done?!"

I just want a mostly happy ending for them

Psst, hey bg3 and witcher fanfic writers/artists! I've been struck with a thought again.

I don't know all the details of BG3 and I stopped watching the witcher show on season 2 but here is a little idea for you all.

The drider kar'niss survives but is of course traumatized. He's "been abandoned by two goddesses" at this point. So he just wanders the underdark aimlessly.

Until he comes to a strange area of the underdark filled with ruins he's never seen before. He can hear muffled music and the singing of a man, one that sounds just as sad as he feels.

His broken mind decides that this is the voice of a God come to call on him. Perhaps this time he won't be abandoned...

He follows the sound through a strange portal only to have a breakdown once he is through.

This new place is utterly overwhelming to his fractured mind and he just weeps, crumpled under green trees lit by a warm sun.

Meanwhile post mountain Jaskier is singing Her Sweet Kiss when the sound of weeping is heard.

He goes looking and is startled by the sight of a monster he's never seen before. However the utter despair in the monsters cries has him feeling sympathy for it, him?, the creature.

He is careful as he tries to talk to it and is frozen still as he finds himself locked in a desperate embrace while the being weeps louder in a language he does not recognize.

I.E. jaskier gets a new sad boy but this one worships him and all he does. It takes jaskier a while to help him not only learn the language but also to heal from his trauma. Jaskier spends months away from cities and villages just because the spider being despairs whenever it looks like he is leaving him behind.

Kar'niss will protect this bard with all he has, at first because he believes him to be his God, but later because he is his cherished friend who helped heal him when no one else did.

Jaskier deserves someone who appreciates him and Kar'niss deserves to be treated with kindness.

It's a wild idea I know but I had to share it.

Sleep deprived thoughts after rewatching Tron legacy.

Programs look like their users right? So would that mean JARVIS would look like Tony? Or he could create his own form due to being a learning program.

Thoughts on pieces of JARVIS finding himself on the Grid due to getting caught up in the upload when Sam installed it in a new computer and forgot to disconnect the link to the internet?

Thoughts on Tony befriending Sam and Alan?

Sam being very confused by this random, partially derezzed program showing up outta the blue and somehow being able to help fix the grid.

Alive Tron seeing a fellow fucked up program "you're my friend now, we're defending the users together later!"

Tony being brought into the loop because of JARVIS, him being a genius, and having been friends with Alan for years?

Programs coming to the user world?

JARVIS and Tron get to come out of the Grid.

Tron deserves vacation/retirement in the user world and both Sam and Alan are happy to give it to him.

JARVIS doesn't know how he feels about being in the user world, awkward boy.

Alan and Tony going with Sam to the Grid while Quorra stays out so they can leave whenever?

You ever go back to a Fandom after a long time with a craving to read fanfiction of something but end up falling back to reading something else?

That's me with Inuyasha.

I wanted to read more Koga fics, Koga and Kagome specifically, but I keep falling back to my old Crack ship of Sesshomaru and Kagome.

I LOVE Koga, he's my favorite character but there's just not enough fics with him as the main character/ship member. So I have fallen back into the sesskag section.

The SessKag ship is the oldest ship I ever read on, has been since Sesshomaru saved Kagome and the gang from the band of seven dude in the Manga. I have and always will adore it.

I just wish there was more Koga content.

Seeing these books growing up but never getting the chance to own one had me feral whenever a friend owned one. I'd ask to borrow them to read and reread for HOURS.

Ignoring all the shipping Fandom junk going about now that ff7 rebirth is out. I just want to be out here theorizing on where the story is going. I already know there are going to be people who hate it and that's okay, personally I enjoyed it.

ZACK MY BELOVED PLEASE JUST BE ALIVE IN ANOTHER TIMELINE!

Why does it seem like at certain points Sephiroth and Aerith have similar goals going on but just different methods?

Sephiroth really trying to mess Cloud's head up more than he did in Canon.

The multiple timelines is kind of implying that either cloud got messed up even more and he's just projecting Aerith as alive or he is seeing an Aerith of one of the timelines that Sephiroth is trying to merge with theirs. Could be both as well but Cloud also seeing the thing in the sky that was in the other timeline while the others don't kinda makes me lean a little more towards him seeing other timelines.

If the dark whispers are Sephiroth's then the light whispers must be Aerith's. She's trying to see who can be saved and he might be trying to ensure his victory??

Weird idea, with the mention of the fake promised land and the people who cannot join the life stream would Sephiroth also not be able to join the lifestream? If he is post og timeline Sephiroth could he have two different plans? A sort of back up plan perhaps?

Cait Sith is a gem.

They scared me so many Times thinking they would kill Zack again. Not sure if Biggs is fully dead or just wounded, could go either way...trying to be optimistic here.

Lost my mind when Sephiroth confirmed my theory that beating fate caused multiple versions of Gaia to come into existence multi-verse shit and all.

Aerith seems to be trying to pull people who survived in these other timelines into their timeline, at least in Zack's case.

I'm very curious to see where this story goes and how they wrap it up.

So I started a chaotic playthrough where my character sneaks poison into the pockets people that are rude or arrogant.

Sigrid, wife of Alvor in Riverwood did her "stay away from my husband" line and since this is a semi evil chaotic playthrough I gave her poison.

The thing is ALVOR DIDNT CARE!

Like he didn't react to her body at all! Just walked right over her. No lines spoken, not even acknowledging it.

Their daughter Dorthe had one moment of "oh! What happened?!" But didn't stick around like other NPCs do, she just walked off.

Then I remember the dialog that can be heard between Sigrid and her family, and yeah them not being overly upset fits.

I've found that when it comes to changes done in a show from the source material (books) there are some I can accept and still love both. [LOTR and Hobbit]

Some that I can accept and be neutral to but enjoy them in their own way. [Game of thrones, House of the dragon]

Then there are those that I cannot stand whatsoever [the Netflix witcher season 2 specifically season 1 I could put up with. And Rings of power, could not even get past the first episode]

Personally I think the reason I feel this way is due to the different way each of these were written by the show runners. Some write in a way that makes it believable to have happened in the source material itself. Some start off good but completely forget any foreshadowing they'd set up before. And some just don't work at all.

This is also why whenever I talk about these things I try to always specify if I am talking about the book version or show version.

It's okay to enjoy both the books and the shows made based on them.
