Regulus sat behind his brother, holding his long strands of hair and twisting them together. "You're really good at this, Reggie."

"Mother taught me. Said a girl should know how to fix hair. Not that it worked out very well in the end, I'm not even a girl anymore." Sirius laughed. "I have the longer hair now." Sirius laid back, head in Reg's lap. "Mother would hate it, Reggie."

Reg lightly smacked his brother's face. "Get up, let me finish your hair." Sirius sat back up. "Idiot."

Sirius laughed and went to the door. "I'll be back in a few hours, don't burn down the house and don't do anything I would do." Regulus rolled his eyes, thinking about how James was coming over just after Sirius got the hell out. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Bartylus fluff hcs please!!!

- Barty and Regulus are anime nerds and I’ll stand by that, regulus loves reading manga and barty refers watching the shows but they both binge anime together

- barty carries reg on his back whenever he can because he likes feeling his weight on him

- reg cuts the crusts off Barty’s sandwiches even though he thinks it’s silly

- neither are great cooks but they learn together

- barty kisses reg’s nose the most and regulus kisses Barty’s cheek

- regulus has never broken a bone but barty has broken several

- barty taught regulus how to drive

- regulus loves going to cat cafes and barty has to try not to let him bring a cat home every time

- Barty’s mum is really sweet to regulus, she loves talking to him about paintings and classical music
