-regulus that literally never learned how to laugh, so it’s just the most broken sound you’ll ever hear (on the VERY rare occasion that it happens)

-italian evan rosier

-barty hating whoever the 4th skittles roommate was so badly that regulus bullies him to the point he switches to durnstrang

-regulus buying his friends little gifts in hogsmead all the time but he’s too Regulus™️ to admit they’re from him so he just leaves them on their beds or something

-regulus being friends with Moaning Myrtle (he just vibes with her idk)

i laughed out loud at the 2nd one for like 5 minutes and the person next to me is very concerned

but like tbh regulus was raised in a family that very much looks down on anyone who isn't a pureblood, and he was probably a Pureblood Dick until the girls got sick of it and threw classical literature at him

he grows to be fond of it actually

Lily and Regulus both loves bookstores, and James loves them, so he doesn't mind that they like to spend too much time here.

James is right there, with bags of other goodies in hand, slowly following his partners as they have a goal of going through every aisle of fiction in their impossibly huge bookstore. From time to time, one of them picks up a book and reads the annotation out loud, comments on the cover design, or simply points to the spine saying, “I've seen reviews of this, we should try it,” or “I heard it's terribly written, don't even look at it.”

Eventually, they find themselves standing in front of shelves with incredibly beautiful editions of world classics, looking at books they have read several times, but still love so much that they are happy to turn the pages right there and look for their favorite moments.

James himself is drawn to the comics and art books section, looking for something new for his gaming collection. He flips through the pages of the latest magazines; looks at the price tags, and horrified, puts the art book he wants back on the shelf, thinking he'll buy it some other time. But later, at the checkout, he sees Regulus paying for a stack of their new books and Lily for the same artbook, just ceremoniously handing the purchase to James with a big smile, while Regulus gently kisses him on the cheek.

the internet is an inherently haunted place if you think about it like. it's so weird to see long abandoned discussion boards stuck in a snapshot of the past, old conversations between kids from over a decade ago who have now grown into their own lives, obituaries taking the form of half finished profiles. and the silence that fills the gaps between. there's a constant ghostly record of each generation's thoughts, fads, their sense of humour. back when the future was at their fingertips. even stranger, people you used to know exist openly in that space, and they watch you watching them. if you want, deceased musicians can play through your headphones. there's always an underlying sense of reminiscing and time escaping our ever shortening attention spans. what a fuckin graveyard
