Botswana  ist ein weites Binnenland mit einem Umfang von circa 582 000 Quadratkilometern. Zwei Drittel des Landes bestehen aus der Kalahari Wüste. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind unter anderem der Chobe Nationalpark, das Moremi Wildtierreservat, das Okavongo Delta, die Linyanti Sümpfe, die Makgadikgadi Pfannen, das Zentralkalahari Wildtierreservat, Tuli Block und der Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Botswana is a vast land-locked area of approximately 582,000 square kilometres. Two-thirds of the country is covered by the Kalahari Desert. The Bahnhof Hotel was initially built in 1906. After extensive renovations in 2005 this Jewel of the Sperrgebiet has imperturbably grown in size and rating alike. The overall atmosphere and the personal touch within the realm of this establishment are setting it off from many other players in its field.  The small town of Aus has an astonishing rich history dating back to German colonial times. This charming village was once the hub of many Ox-wagon transporters and traders. Remains of the POW (prisoners of war) camp can still be seen today followed by many stories of hardship, bravery, diamond rushes and the coming of the railway.  The hotel serves a large variety of outstanding cuisine, cakes and beverages throughout the day. Day tours to historical sites reveal some of the most gripping and breathtakingly beautiful landscapes on our planet.

Das Bahnhof Hotel wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1906 erbaut. Nach umfangreichen Renovierungsarbeiten im Jahr 2005 ist dieses Juwel des Sperrgebiets stetig gewachsen. Die kleine Stadt Aus hat eine erstaunlich reiche Geschichte, die bis in die deutsche Kolonialzeit zurückreicht. Dieses charmante Dorf war einst das Zentrum vieler Ochsenwagentransporter und -händler. Überreste des Kriegsgefangenenlagers sind noch heute zu sehen, gefolgt von vielen Geschichten über Not, Tapferkeit, Diamantenrausch und das Kommen der Eisenbahn. Das Hotel serviert den ganzen Tag über eine große Auswahl an hervorragenden Gerichten, Kuchen und Getränken. Tagestouren zu historischen Stätten zeigen einige der packendsten und atemberaubendsten Landschaften unseres Planeten.
