I attempted to recreate Remington Leith's makeup, my version came out looking a bit like drag.

I'm heading back to Seattle in the morning. I'm going to miss hanging out with these human disasters.

Build a horse.
LISTEN TO THE GREAT DEPRESSION BY AS IT IS
headphones in, close your eyes, listen to the album from start to finish. You won’t regret it.

It's even better in black and white

Thorny face
Is it true horses don't exist and every horse is just two people in a horse costume?
Why are you like this?

Today for HalloWEEK I'm wearing a cosplay roughly based off Uta from Tokyo Ghoul

Envy and Pride pumpkins I made with my frat

Just wanted to share this amazing hair day with the internet
A guy in my CS class keeps on naming this return variables ofTheJedi, so his methods always contain the line:
return ofTheJedi;

As a bonding activity, the new members of my frat built Halloween gingerbread houses. We made one out of graham crackers because I don't eat palm oil and the cookies used for the other house had palm oil in them.
Last night I was inducted into Delta Lamda Phi (gay frat)
I'm so exited for all the experiences I will share with my new queer brothers!

My little sister and I on the the middle stage of the Eiffel Tower (she was still jet-lagged and tired)
I was practically raised by nannies because my parents were always working. The majority of my nannies were Brazilian. They always presented Brazil as a place of art and love (although I now know that is not always the case). They only taught my siblings and I positive phrases in Portuguese (a favorite of my nanny, Veronica, was "te amo muito muito" or "I love you very very much"). The thought of a place that means the world to those who raised me falling to such hateful people breaks my heart.
Long but important post. Please share!
I know Tumblr tends to be very US-centric, but there is something happening in my country that I absolutely have to share.
Soon, Brazil will host presidential elections. These are the first elections since the impeachment of our last president Dilma Rouseff.
The leading candidate is currently Jair Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro is a man who has made racist, sexist, and homophobic claims such as, “I would rather my son die in a car accident than be gay,” and, “my sons would not date black women as they were well educated.” He even said to a woman that she was, “so ugly” that she, “didn’t even deserve to get raped.”
A few decades ago, when Brazil was under a military dictatorship, the government tortured many people for speaking out against the regime. Bolsonaro has said that, “their only mistake was not killing those people.”
However, something incredible has been happening.
A movement called Mulheres Unidas Contra Bolsonaro (Women United Against Bolsonaro) has been surfacing. The hashtag #EleNão (#NotHim) has been getting popular and gaining international attention.
Yesterday, women all over Brazil (and the world!) protested against Bolsonaro.
Here are some pictures.

I have finally decided to start posting on this blog
On Wednesday I will be starting college. I have already moved into my dorm and joined some clubs. I have a feeling that my life will change a lot now that I have started this new journey. So, I have decided to stop posting on my old blog (@luc-laurent) and move to this one so that my old blog will remain a record of who I was in high school.
