Things about Rex that are Facts:

-Rex is a terrible fucking liar. Seriously the only person worse than him is Fives. Rex can’t lie to save his goddamn life

-Rex is known as the Human Octopus because whenever the guys decide to sleep in a pile, someone WILL wake up in a full body lock from an unconscious Rex and that’s just something they all have to deal with

-Rex sings, but only in certain contexts. When everyone bunks down for the night, he’ll walk around the bunks, singing something low and quiet to help everyone get to sleep. It’s actually quiet common for a sergeant or captain to sing songs to their squad at lights out.

-Rex is beauty and grace, but every once in a while he’s awkward as fuck and it’s always hilarious. 

-Rex is much more frequently socially awkward. He knows how to interact with people he’s in charge of, and people who are in charge of him, and Cody. If someone starts talking to him outside of those contexts, he doesn’t know what the hell to say and ends up saying something colossally dumb.

-Rex thinks of himself as a straight-laced, by-the-book kind of guy, but really he’s absolutely nuts. Everyone knows he’s crazier than Skywalker, just more subtle about it.

-Rex has an ongoing competition with Cody for Most Extra Way to Kill a Droid- see: fucking ripping a droid’s head off and shoulder-slamming it into the ground at the Rishi base

-Rex is absolutely the dad of the group. he will deny this to his dying day, but the only being in the GAR who rivals him for Dadliness is Plo Koon.

-Rex secretly thinks that Fives is really cool and wishes he could be as outgoing and well-spoken as Fives

-seriously during Fives’ speech to the cadets during the Battle of Kamino Rex was taking notes in the background; he steals all of Fives’ best lines

-he keeps his hair short because he’s embarrassed about having blond hair- a cadet with a visible mutation is under a lot more scrutiny, so Rex always had to be just that much better than everyone else to make the Kaminoans happy

-Rex has to resist the urge to punch Anakin at least three times a day. he channels his frustration into passive-aggressive snark.

-Rex is scared of heights specifically because of that bullshit with the wall at Point Rain

-Rex pretends not to understand the younger clones’ slang, just so he can casually drop a single solitary meme reference one (1) time and watch them struggle to figure out whether or not he knows

-he also purposely misuses slang just to watch his little brothers suffer

Rex: Tup, why don’t you yeet yourself on over here, I need to have a word with you

Tup: *eye twitching* yes sir

-Rex and Cody wrote 90% of the GAR manuals. One time, Rex was randomly hugged by a small child on a planet, and he had no idea what to do so he low-key panicked and later wrote a manual about how to handle physical encounters with civilians

hi, a palestinian here to say; boycotting eurovision is actually very helpful to us as it shows an interest from the public about our problem and it can work as a way to inform more people about israel’s crimes against us. unfortunately, there’s little the general public can do to stop israel as a whole - not as long as governments such as the american one still funds israel. what we, as a country need, is for us to be a topic - discuss what’s happening to my brothers and sisters, talk about us; don’t let what israel is doing be swept under the rug. if it means boycotting eurovision, please do it. we need to manifest in all ways, including affecting viewership on programs and events that support our oppressors, they’re going to start noticing how you’re serious about it. it’s really late where i am in right now but i hope anon realizes their stance doesn’t help us, we need all the help we can get and eurovision is a decent platform.
