Welcome Home (Ingo x reader x Emmet)

It had been so long.

Even if you knew you could never forget him, so much time had escaped you that sometimes you began to doubt if he even existed in the first place. The only thing that was one hundred percent proving it was his twin brother, whose smile twitched downward a lot more often now.

Even if there was some warmth in your bed, it wasn't the same. Nothing was. If Emmet was on one side, Ingo was ALWAYS curled up on the other, curling a finger through your hair or gently running them down your arms..but only Emmet's heavy arms remained, and that was only if he could manage to come to bed that night. Some nights, in hysteria, he would go out and look for his brother. Anywhere that Ingo used to frequent. It was like he couldn't stop himself from trying to find the answer. It broke your heart to see Emmet coming in all hours of the night, face grim or his soft grey curls soaked with sweat or rain from being out in the elements with no concern for himself. He would fall in your arms, defeated by his unsuccessful search. Sometimes he would cry, other times he would near immediately fall asleep from exhaustion. You didn't know how much more you could take. Emmet had almost completely gone back to being nonverbal, only really speaking when it came to work or things he really needed to say. Anything else was a vague gesture or some of the sign language he and Ingo had taught you over the years.

It all felt hopeless. Useless. He was gone. Dead. Might as well have been.

But, do the dead really..not tell tales?

It was hard to believe it when you saw it. A scrappy man with a torn coat and goatee, hovering in your doorway. The bags under his eyes were like shadows, and he hunched over ever so slightly..but those eyes. Those were Emmet's eyes. But..it couldn't be..?

"Ingo?"

Your voice was smaller than it had ever been, hardly escaping your mouth without a broken squeak. Your tears welled in your eyes like dribbling lava, Ingo's lips giving a visible little twitch once he saw you. "Yes..it is m-oomph!" Poor thing could hardly get a word out before you threw yourself around him, face buried into his chest and arms tight around his middle. You could feel him loosen his tense posture, slowly resting his left hand on the small of your back to curl you into him. "Yes, my dearest.." he mumbled softly into the crown of your head, placing soft and gentle kisses all over you. You couldn't help but sob something fierce. It was loud, it was ugly, but it was happy. You could finally hold him again. He was in your arms, you could touch him, FEEL him again.

Upon hearing your sobbing, Emmet was out of the kitchen in an instant, panic written all over his half-smile. "Love! Are you-.." with a crash, the pan of omelet had fallen onto the living room floor and quick footsteps filled the almost silent home. In one swift motion, you and Ingo found yourselves on the floor, Emmet squishing you both in his arms in the tightest hug you think you've ever been in. He laughed. Emmet, after all this time, was finally laughing with a big grin on his face. This was real, not a fake 'bearing it' grin, or something he tossed around to assure you..this was joy. Happiness. Hope finally comes to fruition in front of him. His brother was home, alive, well, and only slightly damaged. There were no words for quite some time, the three of you lying on the floor and just holding one another. Finally, you could hear twin heartbeats all around you again, always seeming to be in sync. Wherever Ingo was, you thought, their hearts must have always still been beating at the same pace. Finally, you lifted your head to hold Ingo's cheek, giving it a little rub over with your thumb. You kissed him tenderly, as if he were a delicate glass sculpture, hardly there. He returned it just as sweet, holding your face in both of his hands. You could feel on your cheeks that these hands had seen many things. They were rough, scarred, calloused, his fingertips slightly rough in texture, but in the best way. Those hands were stronger too, your face feeling the hidden power that lay in each finger all the way down to his palms, wrists, and arms..something had definitely changed about him. Only pulling away once you had run out of air, you kept the distance between you so your lips barely brushed against one another. He was smiling. Ingo, the one who always kept a soft frown, was smiling almost as wide as Emmet. Against his lips, you couldn't help but mumble.

"Welcome home."

Lucifer

Does his best to help MC out with remembering things that they will forget

Makes little notes for them on information they need to remember and puts it them all around the home so they’ve got constant reminder about the things they asked Lucifer to note.

Very careful with them, especially if they’re having a moment where they’re struggling to remember something or if they’re having struggles communicating. Will wait no matter how long it takes for them to say something and will help them if he can.

Very gentle, helping them out without acting condescending or talking down to them. He wants MC to trust him and not be afraid or ashamed to need help sometimes. However, he won’t coddle them, especially if they explain that they don’t want him to be overprotective with them.

Offers them all of his love regardless and makes sure they’re always aware that he’ll be there to support MC through all stages and with whatever they might need. They are his #1 priority

Mammon

Poor baby doesn’t understand fully at first, but definitely does his best to offer his help

If MC repeats a question they just asked, sometimes Mammon can forget what he answered the first time and just...stares blankly for a minute. Then with an ‘oh-!’ he repeats it with no issue.

Mammon is surprisingly one of the best brothers if MC goes through mood swings or a personality change. He knows it isn’t their fault and adapts well to their needs and current state.

If they misplace something and forget where it was, Mammon will stop at absolutely nothing to track it down and return it to his precious MC. Hell or high water.

No matter what stage of dimentia MC is in, Mammon will love them and do his best to give them whatever they need, whenever they need it. If he can’t do it himself, he’ll make sure one of his brothers can.

Leviathan

I have to admit, I think Leviathan would be one of the brothers that don’t fully..understand it? He struggles a little with understanding what MC needs and what happens with them, but is quick to learn once one of his brothers can tell him what he sort-of needs to do

Tries to offer a safe-space for MC. He tries to offer them safety and relaxation so they can focus less on trying to struggle and cope, and more on enjoying themselves.

Will teach MC how to play a game no matter what. If they forget it? Perfectly fine, he’ll gladly teach you again just as gentle as the first time. Motor skills or mind becoming disoriented. With your permission, he can gently hold your hands and guide you back through it or just offer physical support.

Once he fully grasps it, Leviathan becomes soft and gentle toward MC. Usually he would get frustrated if someone forgot something important to him, but he has no problem repeating it as long as MC asks him. 

From what I read, dimentia can cause problems in communication, which is something Leviathan struggles with to his own extent. I feel like he would probably try to put aside his own struggles to help MC remember the right words or assist them (with their permission) into saying what they’re struggling to say.

Satan

Satan is second only to Lucifer with how tender and careful he is with MC. He reads every book, studies every medical journal, consults every database on the disease and ultimately does his 100% best to properly care for MC when they need it.

Does MC need a reminder here and there? If Lucifer hasn’t done it, Satan is nearly always first. Problems with more abstract thoughts and thinking? Satan is happy to offer whatever MC asks of him.

If MC’s condition ever causes a loss of initiative or depression, he’s there to offer various things for them to try or ways to make it more desirable. He wants to let them know that he’ll help them live an amazing life with him, regardless of their condition.

Will read any book to them, no matter how many times he has to reread anything from a sentence to the entire book. I remember my grandmother hyperfixiated on a cookbook when she had dimentia, so if MC got that way then Satan would have 0 objections to reading with them.

Overall so tender with MC, but definitely trying to help them with their own independence. He wants to see them smile and be as happy as they possibly can be, and he’s willing to do anything for them to ensure that.

Asmodeus

Another brother I feel like might struggle in understanding things. He wouldn’t be neglectful, but I feel like he’d start out not fully grasping what it all means. Once he learns the different effects and stages dimentia can have, he’s much more careful about how he approaches the situation.

Will idly chat with MC if they’d like him to, hoping to pull their mind off of more complex thoughts that their mind may have trouble piecing together and just letting them have a bit of ease.

If MC has a problem completing a task that they used to before, Asmo has no problem helping them (if they ask). If not, then he will try his best to still support MC while they go about their schedule and do their tasks.

Still loves cuddling and snuggling with them, as his love language is physical touch. If MC would like, he’d love to give them a gentle back rub and facemask so he can ease them into peace. Even if he’s not as informed about MC’s condition, he’ll still find ways to make things easier while also sticking up for their independence.

Is definitely more of someone who tries to help in ways that are more indirect. He doesn’t want to try and make them feel bad or guilty for their condition and instead offers time and love when they need it. He always lets his MC know that his door is open anytime they want to wind down.

Beelzebub

Extremely soft and understanding, even if he doesn’t fully get everything that dementia can effect or cause. MC is a part of Beel’s family, and he’s a firm believer that family supports each other no matter what happens. MC is no different.

Similar to Mammon, Beel will adapt to whatever MC needs or wants at any given point. If they want him to be with them, he’s happy to scoop them up in his arms and tell them stories. If they want space, he gives it to them. MC knows he’s always going to support them.

Shows a lot of his understanding through acts of service. If MC loses place of something, he’ll get it. If MC hyperfixiates on a particular food, clothing, tv show, movie, or whatever else? Beel will make sure that they get it with no complaint. He may not be the best with fully using his own words, but he’s at MC’s beck and call in a heartbeat.

If MC becomes disoriented, Beel will try to ease them into a place that they can recooperate and get back on track. He’ll let them hold onto his arm, carry them, or just walk by them in case they need something. He’s strong, so he’ll do anything physical MC might need.

Beel may not be as educated on MC’s disorder as Satan or Lucifer might be, but he does his best to learn and look out for things that may hint that MC is struggling. He wants them to be happy and live their best life, so he offers as much support as a whole room filled with pillars.

Belphegor

Belphegor, in my 100% honest opinion, would probably be the worst of the brothers at first. He’s the baby of the family and a bit of a brat, so he’s used to everything being about him. Not only, but he’s lazy and sleeps a lot, which could be an issue for someone with a cognitive disorder that involves sleep issues, motor issues, struggling with basic things and repeating information. However, he does love MC with all of his heart. After seeing them struggle and deal with self-frustration, Belphegor will get over his act real quick and start being more helpful.

Although he does enjoy his 22 hours of daily sleep, Belphegor will be with MC if their dimentia is causing them to have sleeping problems. He’ll lay with them in the observatory and talk about the starts until they fall asleep. If they don’t or can’t sleep, he’ll just lay with them. Sure, he might get drowsy, but he’ll stay up if it means seeing to MC’s health.

If MC starts having more psychological issues, such as paranoia, depression, loneliness, or irritability, Belphegor is actually rather good at trying to soothe them. Even if they cannot be fully convinced, he’s patient and kind with them. If they’re lonely, he’ll welcome them with open arms to lie with him. He’ll rub their back and try to coo to them if they’re paranoid and try to assure MC that they’re safe.

If MC has issues recognizing things, Belphegor will gently remind them . He’s not rude or snobby with it and does his best to help MC with remembering if they can on their own. However, if they’re in the later stages of dementia and are struggling with it, he’ll softly help them with whatever it is they’re having a problem with.

All in all, Belphegor softens up with MC the longer he hangs around and understands what’s going on. If MC needs help or just a nice, long nap after a long day, his bed has an extra MC-shaped space for them to be in. He understands that it’s hard to live with something like this, but he loves them so much that he doesn’t mind the journey.

GENERAL TENTEN HEADCANONS

TenTen has a very extensive morning routine, especially for her hair. She would bond with a potential s/o over this, especially if they were female.

She really likes spicy foods, enjoying dates where she can have fun eating them. She might make a game out of ‘who can eat the most without needing a drink’ with her date. 

She’s very bubbly and loves to chat, so she’d be just as fine sitting below the camilla tree and talking about life questions or something as simple as noting the odd shape of a cloud

She’s very emotional and wears her heart on her sleeve, so even something one would consider a joke or not too big of a deal might mean more to TenTen than one would think. This goes for both praises and unkind words.

She enjoys spending quiet evenings with soft conversation and sorting her scrolls on the front porch. Nothing is more intimate to her than this.

The brunette always smells metallic with the faint undertone of the cleaner she uses for her weapons. There’s also a mix of sweet lilac mixed in. Odd, but unique.

She gets flustered very easily, especially around one she would find to be her crush. The slightest touch or a sincere compliment will light her up brightest blush. She always tries to return it, hoping to make them more flushed so she doesn’t feel as dorky.

General Pein Headcanons

Here’s some random misc things I have for him. Enjoy!))

Pein is a very hardworking man. He usually spends the majority of his time trying to make sure everything is going to be properly executed and there are no rooms for mess-ups. If Pein wrote it out, it was practically fool proof. (Unless you let Hidan or Tobi interpret what it means)

Pein is not very emotionally aware of things, especially with other people. Sometimes Konan or Itachi will have to approach him if he says something a little too..honest. 

That being said, Pein does absolutely no sugar coating. Think about the most bland cracker ever. Yeahh..that’s basically the epitome of his emotional capacity. He’s not the type of guy to ask ‘does this look good?’ or ‘should I buy this?’ because if he thinks it looks bad or if he doesn’t like it, he won’t hesitate to tell you. However, do not be disheartened! If the opposite occurs and he tells you he does like something, you can be absolutely assured he’s telling the truth.

He tries to be cool sometimes, but it doesn’t work. On the off times he isn’t absolutely swarmed with the work he has to do, he’ll emerge from his cave and attempt to socialize with the others. The only successful interactions he has are with Konan, Itachi, Kakuzu and sometimes Sasori. 

Pein cannot stand Hidan. At all. The only reason he even begins to tolerate the Jashinist is because Hidan is ‘immortal’ and is very powerful. If Pein did not absolutely need him, Hidan would have been in a hole years ago by the ginger’s own hands.

Pein enjoys simple things in his rare free time such as sitting outside when the weather is nice, puzzles (old man vibes? yes), shogi with an acquaintance (Itachi or Konan, sometimes Kakuzu), classical music and a glass of wine. A simple man.

If you ever wanted to hang out with him he is so bORInG ugh. 90% of a hangout with him would be you sitting in his office and the only sounds would be flipping paper, a very stressed sigh through his nose and the occasional rap of his pencil against the table.

Speaking of that, Pein is the ONLY one who better be tapping that pencil. Anyone else will be losing their pencil, their hand or both. He tries to hyper-focus and get everything done, but any outside distractions are quick to throw him off his game.

If somehow you got to hang out with him on a good day like..he might talk to you? Otherwise you’d be sitting on a beanbag chair staring at each other. Don’t leave him in charge of planning anything ‘fun’. You’re better off doing it yourself.

Regardless of him being a corpse, he’s very well built and keeps up on his physical shape. Even if that means being a b00mer and doing toe touch stretches in his office.

He has a littering of freckles over the bridge of his nose, upper cheeks, shoulders, biceps, booty and thighs. Point them out and you’ll get suplexed over the coffee table, I promise.

If he, somehow, were to get flustered, he would turn so red that you could no longer see the majority of his facial features. Also the tips of his ears turn red and it’s honestly really cute but he’ll never expose himself

General Konan Headcanons

Konan has a very good singing voice and often sings to herself when she makes origami

She loves children, always giving out her creations to any little ones in Amegakure

Konan and Pein were an excellent team ehen it came to efficient planning, the both of them bringing different halves to the situation to analyze the best plan.

That being said, she's very intelligent on her own. In a modern setting she would DEFINITELY be a high mark student.

She enjoys baking and making any sweet treat. Even if she doesn't eat them herself, she shares them with the Akatsuki.

She can get along with every member no sweat. She may be soft spoken, but she's very charismatic in her own sense. She can find a way to connect with and match the interest of nearly anyone she talks to, whether it be art, finance or battle. A very well-rounded lady indeed.

Do not try to help her unless she asks. She may be a badass but she also has her own sense of pride. Even if she is 100% struggling, she wants to come to her OWN conclusion that she can't complete the task without some assistance. You can offer it if you want, but that will honestly make her more inclined and frustrated to do it on her own. Pein is the same way.

Konan tends to channel negative emotions into her craft. Whenever she's making something, it's her own way of coping with them. If she's in one of these moods, try not to interrupt her unless you have to.

However, if she's in a GOOD mood, pleasepleaseplease ask her how she makes a specific piece. Or ask her to make you something. Or ask her to teach you how. Let her ramble. Let her get excited. Please she is so sweet.

When the day is done, she likes sitting in a quiet space to read philosophy. Why are things the way they are? What could happen as a result of something else? Broad questions that have no real answers are her absolute favorite things to discuss. If you want to have a long conversation with her that will have her thinking (and will make her come back to you to discuss further), talk to her about anything deep and answerless.

Okay so think this- Itachi falling in love with sasuke’s ex teammate who is on team7. Let’s just pretend that team7 was a five man squad. Relationship headcanons for that scenario? Ily 😳❤️

Headcanons for Itachi falling in love/dating Sasuke's exteammate

Before

Itachi was so confused when he realized he fell in love

Especially with them

He had remembered them from before he left, but other than that all he knew was what Sasuke had said.

They were a shinobi and he was a criminal. Not only, but Sasuke had left for his revenge so long ago. Itachi didn't even think that they'd remember him.

On the Kazekage rescue mission however, eye contact was all he needed.

They remembered him.

He didn't know how to feel, but any romantic action could get the both of them in very big trouble.

After Itachi's intitial sight of them, he knew he had to see them again.

Why? When it risked so much for the both of them?

Love was a finicky thing

Soon after, he used a crow to sight them out and soon found them when they were in the forest surrounding Konoha. Out of the village where they wouldn't get caught.

They instantly got defensive when he approached, asking if they knew anything about Sasuke. A diversion.

When they replied 'no', he sort of dipped into the reason why he initially approached them.

"I couldn't help but remember you..from all of that time ago..you've grown stronger."

Wow a compliment. Savor that, reader-chan.

If they acted hostile and demanded him leave, Itachi would comply and would never return.

If they calmed down (even if they were still a bit defensive, as expected in the presence of a criminal) and kept a decent conversation, he would ask if they minded meeting him here again.

If they denied, he'd respect their choice and would stop following them and would not return.

If they accepted, he'd give a small smile and poke their forehead. Then he'd go on his way before they were both prodded about where they were.

After a good handful of meetings, Itachi could feel his romantic attraction to them build. However he was very hesitsnt due to still calculating the risks of being in a relationship.

Anyone looking to hurt him could go after them, the Leaf could force them into giving information about him..it was all the matter of risk.

If they started to act flirty, he might turn it down for now. He didn't want any influential sway about his final choice.

Finally, he had made the choice that you only live once and he'd protect them the best he could from all of that.

If they denied he'd reassure them it was okay, but then he'd likely receed from them and never show up again.

After

If they were to abandon Konoha and live outside of the village, Itachi might bring Kisame by on the way to or back from a mission.

Kisame definitely would know about Itachi's s/o and these two are like the Fort Knox of this secret.

If Itachi's s/o gets along well with Kisame, he's absolutely elated.

Sometimes Itachi will stay with them overnight, mostly if he has a relaxed time solo mission.

If they stay in Konoha, they sadly can only meet in the forest. S/o better be careful because they might rouse some suspicion.

Itachi would be a lot more careful with things like dates, only really taking them in secluded places with low chances of others seeing them.

If his s/o learns ANYTHING about Sasuke, Itachi will find out. If you try to hold it back he'll get very upset.

Headcanons for Uchiha Itachi

Itachi is definitely a closet lover, especially at first. He's very timid and, while he loves his s/o with all of his heart and soul, he's not that sure about letting anyone other than like..Kisame know that he's in a relationship.
