I agree. Charlie is the one who keeps insisting that the soul judgement system with Heaven and Hell isn’t fair, and Angel Dust would’ve been the perfect opportunity to demonstrate that. He’s from a mafia family, and likely would’ve been killed if he ever tried to leave, so was sending him to Hell a fair decision when he would’ve been killed for not leading a life of crime? Not to mention he’s shown to be capable of being better when he’s not around his family, or Valentino. He’s not a good person, but he is improving now that he doesn’t face the threat of death for not being involved with his family’s criminal empire. Oh, and here’s the other kicker; Molly, his sister, is in Heaven when she’s from the same criminal background as him. Why is it fair that she gets to be in Heaven, and Angel Dust doesn’t?

"Honestly, story-wise, Viv had a really good setup for the first season to focus on Angel Dust's redemption/ascension to Heaven. They've literally devoted two solo songs to him (along with a duet), an entire episode, a comic, tons of character complexity and screen time, and Charlie used him as her example to Heaven to showcase her hotel's success. I think if the first season was built around this it could've been leagues better than Sir Pentious' disappointing death and the immediate war with Heaven that we got."
