While we’re absolutely thrilled to have so many of you, we’ve reached the point where we need to make sure everything stays fun and manageable. After all, we’re only four mods juggling all this awesomeness, and we want to make sure the server remains a great place for everyone.

Here’s what’s happening:

Limiting Access: We’re capping the server size at around 160 for now. This means invites won't be given out in a while and later on, given in smaller batches, so we can ensure everyone gets the attention and experience they deserve. Don’t worry if you’re looking to join or invite a friend, we’ll have a waiting list, just dm me and I'll add you to it! (Note: If you only comment, I won't be answering it. Only responding to dm.)

Monthly Activity Checks: To keep our community vibrant and active, we’ll be doing monthly activity/inactivity checks. If you’re here, we want to see you around! Whether it’s chatting, sharing fanart, or just vibing in the background, staying active helps keep the server alive. Plus, it gives us a chance to make room for more active members if needed!

We’re so grateful to have each of you in this community, and we’re excited to keep things fresh and fun. If you’ve got any questions or just want to say hi, DMs are always open!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to give you all a quick update on our server’s status!

Right now, we’re in the middle of some much-needed maintenance and finalizing our moderation setup to make sure everything runs smoothly! Because of this, we’re not able to bring in any new members at the moment.

I’m posting this because I’ve received over +15 DMs asking for invites (thank you for the interest!), but we need to hit pause on that until the server is fully set up!! It’s super important to us that the server is a safe and well-moderated space for everyone, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to make sure that happens (shoutout to the modsquad 💖💖💖)!!

Please hang tight—we’ll open up invites again once everything is ready to go. I promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Dear Fox Den Members and Followers!

As every story must come to an end, so too must The Fox Den.

Life has a way of pulling us in different directions, and lately, I’ve found myself overwhelmed with responsibilities, studies, and the inevitable dramas that come with managing online communities. As much as I’ve loved nurturing The Fox Den, I’ve realized that I’ve lost track of my own writing and creative journey. It’s time to refocus, turn the page, and start a new chapter.

Why the change? The Fox Den has been a wonderful place for creativity and connection, but the time has come to let it go. Between balancing life, getting back into my studies, and dealing with the ups and downs of managing multiple servers, I’ve realized that I need a fresh start. A space that not only supports others but also allows me to reconnect with my own passions.

That’s why I’m closing The Fox Den and opening a new community: The Phantom Quarters.

What is "The Phantom Quarters"? The Phantom Quarters is a new Discord server inspired by the dark academia aesthetic, with a dash of inspiration (let's be honest, a LOT) from Taylor Swift’s "The Tortured Poets Department". Imagine an old, candlelit library filled with whispers of untold stories, where creativity is nurtured amidst the shadows with classmates as passionate as you. This is the atmosphere I'm trying to create.

In The Phantom Quarters, you’ll find:

- Writing Prompts & Challenges: With various themes, brainstorm sessions and more! - Workshops & Feedback: A supportive environment where you can share your work and help others grow. - Events & Discussions: Engage in book clubs, themed events, and deep conversations. - A Close-Knit Community: A place where every member, whether a seasoned writer or a curious observer, is valued and encouraged to explore their creativity.

The Fox Den will officially close soon enough, but I hope this isn’t the end of our journey together. I invite you to join me in The Phantom Quarters, where we can continue to explore, create, and inspire one another in a fresh and focused space!

All the peeps who reached out via dms have been added to the waiting list!!! (I've had +18 dms and I can't contact everyone all at once!) We're still setting things up BUT it'll be available soon-ish!! NB: Also please, spamming and saying "but I'm well behaved", "I'm better than others" etc won't get you an invite faster or even at all so please slow down ^^' Also I'm less active cause I'm a student, I work and I'm not always online so I may connect later/not as much! Apologies!
