Lol I was reading "I told you so" while listening to Phantasmata | Rain by Regnum Umbrae and let me tell you the beginning fit so much that I felt I was in that castle, with how you described it + the background song.
No way! That seems like the perfect timing and everything. I remember doing the same thing, just with a different fanfic. It was so good. I'm so glad you like it! I have been trying new things and it's been great writing. It's so fun, especially writing for you all. You all are the reason I write. It's always fun to see little comments and requests. But I do have something better to tell you. And guess what? I might just be working on the second part of "I Told You So."

Lin tossed and turned in her sleep, the weight of the world pressing down on her even in her dreams. The room was dark, the only light from the moon filtering through the window. "When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night” She found herself in a place she never thought she’d be—in Tenzin’s bed, her head in her hands, feeling utterly trapped. “With your head in your hands, you're nothing more than his wife” She felt the cold sheets beneath her fingers, the reality of her situation sinking in. She was nothing more than Tenzin’s wife, a role that felt like a prison.
The years had passed, but the memories of what could have been still lingered in the corners of her mind. She thought of you, Y/N, and the life you might have had together. The regret was a constant companion, whispering in her ear, “And when you think about me, all of those years ago”.
Lin’s heart ached as she remembered the days when you were by her side. She saw your face, clear as day, standing before her with that knowing look. You had warned her, You had told her “You're standing face to face with 'I told you so'” and tried to show her a different path, but she had been stubborn, too set in her ways. Now, she was paying the price for her choices, living a life that felt like a lie.
The dream shifted, and she was face to face with you. The pain in your eyes mirrored her own, and she could see the unspoken words on your lips. “You know I hate to say, but, I told you so.” It was a bitter pill to swallow, knowing that you had been right all along. She wanted to reach out, to erase the years of distance and regret, but the chasm between you was too wide.
Lin jolted awake, a cold sweat covering her body. Her heart pounded in her chest, the remnants of the nightmare still clinging to her. She turned, expecting to see Tenzin, but instead, she saw you. Relief washed over her as she realized it had all been a dream. You were here, with her, and the nightmare was just that—a nightmare.
She sighed deeply, the tension leaving her body as she reached out to touch your face. “Y/N,” she whispered, her voice filled with a mixture of relief and lingering sorrow. The dream had shaken her, but it had also reminded her of what truly mattered. She pulled you closer, needing the reassurance of your presence to banish the lingering shadows of her nightmare.
“Lin” you mumbled in your sleep and opened your eyes to a worrisome look on her face. You put your hand on her face “What’s wrong Lin?” You worry aske.
“Nothing.” She said holding you tight and burying her face in your hair. You didn’t ask another question, instead, you pulled back and kissed her slowly with love.
In the quiet of the night, Lin held you close, grateful for the reality that was so much better than her dreams. The past might still haunt her, but with you by her side, she knew she could face whatever came her way.
I Told You So
Lady Dimitrescu x fem reader
Note: So, I've been thinking about this idea for ages and I just couldn't get it out of my head. I couldn't resist - "Good Luck Babe" by Chappell Roan and it has been stuck in my head for so long that I had to write something. With the polls I had out y’all choose Lady Dimitrescu. Masterlist

The grand halls of Castle Dimitrescu were eerily silent as you wandered through them, the moonlight filtering through the tall, arched windows casting long shadows on the marble floors. The air was thick with an ancient, almost tangible melancholy that seemed to seep from the very walls. Alcina thought she had made the right decision about marrying her husband. She thought by doing so she would get the approval of her parents and their love, but it didn’t. The echoes of her footsteps were the only sound that accompanied her, a lonely rhythm in the vast, empty corridors.
Alcina remembered the times she had in her younger years, the carefree days filled with laughter and dreams that now seemed so distant. The haunting melody of a song echoed in her mind, each line a painful reminder of the choices she had made. The song's words wrapped around her heart like a cold, unrelenting grip, refusing to let go.
"When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night," she had woken up in the middle of the night and looked at the clock on her wall. The room was bathed in a soft, silvery glow from the moonlight streaming through the window. She carefully got up so as not to wake her husband and looked at him. He lay there, oblivious to her turmoil, his presence a constant reminder of her regrets. She didn’t know how he ended up in her bed in her room but he did. “With your head in your hands, you're nothing more than his wife.” Putting her head in her hands, she felt the cool metal ring on her face and pulled her head out of her hands to look at it with sadness. The ring, once a symbol of love and promise, now felt like a shackle. All she was to her husband was a possession and nothing more. She owned the castle he lived in and acted like he owned it.
The nights were long and lonely, filled with a sense of emptiness that she could never quite shake. The silence of the castle was oppressive, pressing down on her like a physical weight. The grand rooms, once filled with joy and life, now felt like a prison. Each corner of the castle held memories of a life that could have been, a life that was now out of reach.
But here, in the castle, things were different. The walls that once offered protection now seemed to close in on her, suffocating her with their cold indifference. The chandeliers, with their flickering candlelight, cast eerie shadows that danced mockingly on the walls. The portraits of her ancestors seemed to watch her with judgmental eyes, their silent reproach a constant reminder of her failures.
As she wandered through the halls, Alcina felt a deep, aching loneliness. The grandeur of the castle, with its opulent decorations and lavish furnishings, only served to highlight the void in her heart. She longed for the warmth of genuine love, the kind of love that could fill the emptiness inside her. But all she had were the cold, unfeeling walls of Castle Dimitrescu and the haunting melody of a song that echoed endlessly in her mind.
“And when you think about me, all of those years ago, you're standing face to face with 'I told you so.'" The voice rang in her head. The memory of you begging her not to marry him and stay with you, to build a life together away from people and away from her parents but she had refused. You had warned her about the life she was choosing, about the man she was marrying. But she hadn't listened. She had been young and naive and didn’t want to let down her parents, thinking maybe they would approve of her after she got married. Now, as she wandered the empty hall of the castle, the weight of her choices bore down on her.
The grand tapestries that adorned the walls seemed to mock her with their depictions of happier times, scenes of love and joy that now felt like cruel reminders of what she had lost. The flickering candlelight cast long, wavering shadows, creating an almost ghostly ambiance that made her feel even more isolated. Each step she took echoed through the vast, empty corridors, a lonely sound that mirrored the emptiness inside her heart.
Standing in front of your door, she hesitated to knock. Her hand hovered in the air, trembling with uncertainty. She lifted her hand to knock and stopped, her heart pounding in her chest. The silence of the night was deafening, and she could hear the faint rustle of the wind outside the castle walls. Finally, she pulled out enough courage to do so, her knuckles barely making a sound against the heavy wooden door. She didn’t know if you were up, but she had to see you, had to try and find some solace in the one person who had always understood her.
You couldn't fall asleep after all these years she had been married. You still loved her, the ache in your heart a constant reminder of the life you had once dreamed of together. The nights were long and restless, filled with thoughts of what could have been. When you heard the knock at your door, you wondered who it could be. Knocking in the middle of the night was unusual, and a sense of unease settled over you as you got up from your bed.
Opening your door, you found yourself standing face to face with Alcina. Her eyes were filled with a mix of sorrow and regret, her once confident demeanor now replaced with a vulnerability that took you by surprise. The air between you was thick with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. The sight of her standing there, so close yet so distant, stirred a whirlwind of feelings within you.
"Alcina," you whispered, your voice barely audible in the quiet of the night. The years of separation seemed to melt away in that moment, leaving only the raw, unfiltered emotions that had been buried for so long. The castle, with all its grandeur and opulence, faded into the background as you stood there, face to face with the woman you had never stopped loving.
You looked at Alcina and said the words you had spoken to her years ago when she had first told you about her marriage even though you two were together. You looked at her with sadness and understanding. “You know I hate to say, 'I told you so,'" you said softly, your voice carrying a hint of regret. "But I told you so."
Alcina gazed at you with a mix of sorrow and longing, her eyes welling up with tears as she tenderly reached out to gently cradle your face. "I understand," she murmured softly. "I wish things could have been different." With a heartfelt embrace, she drew you close.
"It's alright, Alcina. You followed your heart," you reassured her with a bittersweet smile, holding her tightly. "I’m leaving," you revealed.
Alcina nodded sadly, withdrawing from the embrace. "But why?" Her voice quivered, barely audible, filled with a blend of fear and anguish.
"I can't bear to stay here any longer. It pains me to see you with him, Alcina. My love for you remains, making it unbearable to witness you with him," you expressed quietly as you turned away, walking towards the balcony. The frigid night air stung your skin, and the stars overhead seemed to jeer at your suffering with their distant, indifferent glimmer.
Following you, Alcina's soft footsteps echoed softly against the stone floor. "I understand. I'm sorry, Y/N. I'm so sorry. I should have listened to you that day, but I..." Alcina's voice faltered, her words breaking as she struggled to articulate her emotions. Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, reflecting the moonlight.
You turned around and pulled her into an embrace, feeling the warmth of her body against yours despite the chill in the air. “Alcina, I love you. I will always love you,” you told her, your voice filled with a mixture of love and heartache. She held you closer, and you felt her shoulders shake as she began to cry, her tears soaking into your shirt.
Alcina managed to relax and tell you, “I love you too. I’ve always loved you,” she finally said after all those years. Her voice was raw with emotion, each word a testament to the depth of her feelings. How could she forget her first love?
You stood there together, the world around you fading into the background. The castle walls seemed to close in, creating an intimate cocoon where only the two of you existed. The night was silent except for the sound of Alcina’s quiet sobs and the steady beat of your heart. In that moment, you both understood that love, no matter how complicated or painful, was the one constant that had always connected you.
“Perhaps in a another universe, we could be united," you whispered gently. "Yet, across every lifetime, I would seek you out, and I will forever be yours, for I, Y/N L/N, belong to you, Alcina.” Alcina held you tighter as you spoke these words to her.
Alcina gazed lovingly into your eyes and whispered, "And I belong to you, Draga mea. I am yours and always have been." Her bittersweet smile hinted at the depths of her emotions. Holding you close, she knew that this moment would mark the end. She harbored a secret hope that in another lifetime, you would belong to her and her alone, just as she would belong to you.

Part 1
Warning : angst
Alcina woke up with a massive hangover, a sensation she never thought she could experience. The pounding in her head was relentless, and she groaned as she tried to piece together the events of the previous night. She turned to the side of the bed where you usually slept, but it was cold and empty. Panic set in. Did you not come back home? Did you stay over at Donna's?
Slowly, Alcina got out of bed and looked down at herself. She was naked, and as fragments of memories started to resurface, her heart sank. No, she couldn't have. Did you know?
She glanced again at your side of the bed, picturing your small body cuddled up against her larger frame. The absence was palpable, a void that filled her with dread. Shaking her head, she knew she had to get ready for the day. She sat at her vanity mirror, staring at her reflection. Her eyes widened as she noticed the love bites scattered across her skin. How had she done that to you?
"What have I done?" she whispered to herself, her voice trembling with disgust and regret. She had hurt you. Did you know?
With a heavy heart, Alcina made her way down for breakfast. The moment she entered the dining room, the lively chatter of her daughters ceased, replaced by an uncomfortable silence.
"Good morning, daughters," she greeted them, trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy. Her eyes scanned the room, searching for you, but your chair was empty.
Daniela was the first to break the silence. "Mother, how could you do that to Mama?" she demanded, her voice laced with accusation. Alcina's heart sank further, her confusion evident.
"Mother, why did you do that? Mama loves you so much, you broke her heart," Cassandra added, her voice quiet and filled with sorrow. Bela watched her younger sisters, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. The room was heavy with emotion, and Alcina felt the weight of her actions crushing her.
She opened her mouth to speak, to explain, but the words wouldn't come. The realization of what she had done, how deeply she had hurt you, was overwhelming. She had to find you, to make things right, but the fear of facing you, of seeing the pain in your eyes, was almost too much to bear.
Bela pulled out the letter and the ring. As soon as Alcina saw it, she knew you had heard it, you were here last night. "Here. This is from Mama. You better make it up to her," Bela said as she handed her the letter. Everyone grew quiet.
"Thank you, daughters. You are excused; you may have fun with the maids from last night... the one I was with," she said sadly. The daughters swarmed out of the room. They went off to find the maid who had hurt their mama.
Alcina went upstairs into her room. She sat at her vanity, her hands shaking. She was afraid. She opened your letter and began to read.

My little bugs,
I love you all so dearly. I am sorry for the way things turned out. I would've loved to marry your mother, but it seems that she doesn't want me. I know that you will give this to your mother, but it's alright. Bela, remember not to push yourself too much.
Cassandra, please know that I'll be here for you—all of you—but when I'm not, go to your sisters or mother for help when you need it. Daniela, my dear, don't get into too much trouble. Don't give your mother a hard time, my dear. I'll be watching all of you for a long time, but know that I am still with you in my heart and that I love you for eternity. Nothing will keep me from loving you.
Forever, your Mama
---
Alcina,
I know you are reading this. I gave you back my ring. I hope you find someone who will love you like I did. I wish you nothing but the best, my love. I wish that I could've called you my wife. Maybe there is still a little hope left for us—just maybe... or not.
Y/N
---
Alcina screamed as she held your letter. "Why does everything always end like this?" she cried out, her voice echoing through the empty room. Could she get you back? Maybe you were already gone. No, she could not think like this. She would fix this.
"I'm sorry, draga mea. I will fix this, I promise," she said aloud, her fist tightly around your ring. Tears streamed down her face as she stared at the letter, her heart aching with a mixture of hope and despair. She knew she had to fight for you, to make things right. With a deep breath, she resolved to do whatever it took to mend the broken pieces of her heart and win you back.
It has been a week since the incident, and the lingering sense of solitude still clings to you. As you gaze down at your empty finger, once adorned with a ring, you let out a heavy sigh and allow your thoughts to drift. How could she have betrayed you like this? Why did this have to happen to you?
"Y/N, are you up? I have breakfast for you," Miranda said as she opened the door and walked in. She put the tray of food down on your nightstand, her eyes filled with concern.
"Mother, I've been thinking..." you start, your voice trembling slightly. You want the parasite. Taking the coda would mean you would live forever and you could be by Miranda's side, never having to part from her.
"I want to take the... Caduo. I want to be by your side," you finally said, your eyes pleading with her to understand.
"No," she said sternly, her tone leaving no room for argument.
"But why-"
"Because it can be dangerous, I do not know the outcome of this. I will not rush losing you," she said to you with a soft but yet stern voice, her eyes softening as she looked at you.
"But I can survive, I know I can, Mother, please," you pleaded, desperation creeping into your voice.
"No, that's the end of this," she said, her voice firm. You crossed your arms and pouted at her, hoping to sway her decision.
"That'll not work on me, little one. Now get ready and eat. We have a meeting to go to," she said as she left the room, her words echoing in your mind. You started getting ready for the day, feeling a mix of frustration and determination.
After the shower, you put on the dress that was laid out on your bed before you got up. You ate breakfast quickly, the food tasting bland compared to the turmoil in your heart. Then, you took the dirty dishes and the tray downstairs to wash them, trying to keep your mind off the conversation.
"Mother, I'm ready when you are," you shouted, your voice carrying through the house.
"Good, let's get going then," Miranda replied, her voice echoing back. You followed her, still feeling a bit frustrated but knowing that she had your best interests at heart. As you walked beside her, you couldn't help but think about the future and what it might hold for both of you.
As you and Miranda approached the imposing structure of the church, its ancient stone façade loomed above you, casting long shadows in the fading light of the evening. The air was thick with anticipation, a palpable tension that seemed to vibrate through the very ground beneath your feet. You could hear the distant echo of footsteps and hushed whispers as other attendees began to gather for the meeting. The atmosphere was charged with an unspoken urgency, as if everyone presents understood that this gathering held significant weight.
Miranda, ever vigilant and protective, turned to you with a serious expression etched across her features. “Now little one,” she said softly yet firmly, “I want you to sit next to me, alright? And stay close to me.” Her voice was laced with an intensity that made it clear she would not tolerate any deviation from her directive. You nodded in agreement, feeling a mixture of comfort and anxiety wash over you. The warmth of her presence provided a sense of security amidst the uncertainty that lay ahead.
As more people began to arrive, you could feel your heart rate quicken. Each new face brought with it a wave of curiosity and apprehension. Among them were figures cloaked in mystery and authority—the four lords who were expected to preside over this meeting. Yet, despite their absence at that moment, your attention was drawn elsewhere.
Suddenly, the heavy wooden doors creaked open, and Alcina stepped into view. She had always possessed an aura of elegance and power that commanded attention; today was no different. With her striking features framed by cascading dark hair and an outfit that accentuated her commanding presence, she entered like a queen surveying her court. It was impossible not to notice her—she had an uncanny ability to draw eyes toward her.
As Alcina scanned the room, her gaze landed on you. In that instant, time seemed to slow down; your heart raced uncontrollably as emotions surged within you—a tumultuous blend of longing and fear. Memories flooded your mind: moments shared in laughter and joy juxtaposed against those filled with pain and heartbreak. You felt an overwhelming urge to run up to her, to bridge the distance between you two with a warm embrace that would erase all doubts and fears.
But Miranda’s watchful eyes remained fixed on Alcina as well; there was no mistaking the protective stance she took beside you. She would not allow Alcina’s past transgressions against your heart to repeat themselves—not while she had any say in the matter. Miranda’s grip tightened slightly on your arm as if sensing your internal struggle.
As more figures began filtering into the church—each one adding layers of complexity to this already intricate web—you could feel a collective energy building within the space. Conversations hummed quietly around you like bees buzzing in a garden full of vibrant flowers; each word exchanged carried weight and significance.
You shifted slightly in your seat next to Miranda, trying desperately to maintain focus on what lay ahead rather than getting lost in thoughts about Alcina’s piercing gaze or what it might mean for both of you moving forward.
With every passing moment leading up to this meeting—the anticipation thickening like fog rolling over hills—you knew deep down that whatever transpired here tonight would alter everything forever.
The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension as the meeting finally reached its conclusion. Hours had passed, filled with discussions that ranged from strategic planning to emotional revelations. The air was heavy with anticipation, and everyone present could sense that a pivotal moment was about to unfold.
Mother Miranda stood at the forefront, her presence commanding respect and attention. Her voice broke through the murmurs as she addressed everyone gathered. “We will no longer be needing a vessel,” she declared, her tone resolute yet softened by an unexpected warmth. “I have come to realize that I can be happy with you all… and you, Y/N, you are like a daughter to me. No, you are my daughter; know that.” A small smile graced her lips, a rare display of affection that seemed to lighten the mood in the room.
With those words hanging in the air, a wave of relief washed over many of those present. The meeting had been fraught with uncertainty regarding their future roles and relationships within this complex web they had woven together. But now, it seemed there was a new beginning on the horizon—a chance for connection beyond mere obligation.
However, as people began to rise from their seats and exit the room, one figure remained still—Alcina Dimitrescu. Her towering presence loomed over the others as she approached you with purpose. Yet before she could reach you, Mother Miranda stepped forward protectively.
“Mother Miranda,” Alcina said firmly but respectfully, “may I have a word with Y/N?”
Miranda’s expression hardened slightly at Alcina’s request. “No Alcina,” she replied sternly. “After what you did to her, I simply cannot allow that.”
You felt a pang of conflict at Miranda’s words; Alcina had indeed caused you pain in the past, yet there was something about her demeanor now that intrigued you—a hint of vulnerability perhaps? You took a step forward and spoke up softly but assertively “Mother, please. Let her say what she has to.”
Miranda regarded you for a moment before relenting with an impatient sigh. “Fine,” she conceded reluctantly. “Go ahead Alcina.”
But Alcina wasn’t finished yet; her gaze shifted back to Miranda as she added earnestly, “Alone. In private. Could you please leave Mother Miranda?”
The request hung heavily in the air as both women stared each other down—two powerful figures caught in an unspoken battle of wills. You could feel your heart racing as your newfound mother glanced back at you over her shoulder for confirmation of your desire.
With a nod from you affirming your choice to speak privately with Alcina, Mother Miranda’s expression softened just slightly before she stepped aside reluctantly but resolutely.
Once alone with Alcina, an electric tension filled the space between you two—an amalgamation of past grievances and unspoken feelings swirling around like ghosts haunting an empty hall.
Alcina took a deep breath before speaking again; her voice was lower now, almost vulnerable compared to how it had been moments ago when addressing Miranda. “Y/N,” she began slowly, “I know things have been… complicated between us.” She paused for effect as if searching for the right words amidst a sea of emotions.
“I never wanted to hurt you,” Alcina continued earnestly. “What happened… What I did was wrong. I hurt you. The women I love. I don’t know what came over me.im truly sorry my love” Her eyes searched yours for understanding or perhaps forgiveness—a flicker of hope igniting within them.
You felt torn; memories flooded back—the fear and pain intertwined with moments where Alcina showed glimpses of care beneath her fierce exterior. “Why did it happen then?” You asked cautiously but firmly.
Alcina sighed deeply, the weight of years and regrets pressing heavily on her shoulders. Her eyes, usually so fierce and commanding, now seemed clouded with uncertainty and sorrow. She struggled to find the right words, fearing that anything she said might only make things worse.
"I was lost," she admitted finally, her voice barely above a whisper. Vulnerability etched itself across her features, like delicate cracks in porcelain, threatening to shatter completely under the pressure of her emotions. "I thought power would fill this void inside me," Alcina continued, her gaze shifting away momentarily as if she were ashamed or reflecting on the choices that had brought them both to this painful moment. "I'm sorry, my love."
You stared at her, your heart aching with a mixture of anger and sorrow. "Sometimes a sorry doesn't work, Lady Dimitrescu," you replied, your voice calm but laced with a deep hurt. "You have hurt me in more than one way. I thought you loved me, Alcina. Did I do something wrong for you to fuck that maid? Did I not love you enough?"
Alcina's eyes filled with tears, her usually unshakeable demeanor crumbling before your eyes. "No, you did nothing wrong," she whispered, her voice trembling. "It was my own weakness, my own insecurities that led me astray. I thought that by exerting power, I could fill the emptiness inside me. But I was wrong, and I hurt the one person who means the most to me."
You shook your head, feeling the sting of betrayal all over again. "I think you should leave, Alcina," you said, turning on your heels and starting to walk away from her, each step feeling like a small victory over the pain she had caused.
"Please, Y/N," Alcina's voice broke through your resolve, stopping you in your tracks. "Come home. I'll do anything for your forgiveness. For your trust. For your love. I'll do anything, please come back home and give me this chance to make things right."
Her desperate plea made you pause, your heart torn between the love you once felt and the pain of her betrayal. You turned to face her, seeing the sincerity and desperation in her eyes. "I'll do anything," she whispered, her voice cracking under the weight of her emotions.
You stared at her for a long moment, the silence between you heavy with unspoken words and lingering hurt. Finally, you let out a sigh, feeling the exhaustion of your inner turmoil. "Fine," you agreed reluctantly, deciding to go back to the castle with her. "Don't make me regret this," you warned, your voice tinged with a mix of caution and vulnerability.
As you walked away to find Miranda, your mind raced with conflicting emotions, unsure of what the future held for you and Alcina. The path ahead was uncertain, but for now, you had chosen to give her one last chance.
"Mother, there's something important I need to tell you," you say as you nervously stand in front of her.
"What is it, Y/N?" she asks, giving you a curious look and glancing toward Alcina.
You take a deep breath, knowing that she might not react well to what you're about to say. "I've made a decision. I'm going back to the castle," you finally admit, watching as confusion crosses her face.
"No," she responds firmly.
"I'm sure about this, please," you plead with her, hoping she'll understand.
"Are you sure about this, little one?" she asked, her voice filled with a mixture of concern and hesitation. Her eyes darted from you to Alcina, lingering on the imposing figure behind you. The tension in the air was palpable, a heavy cloak of uncertainty and unresolved emotions.
You took a deep breath, feeling the weight of your decision pressing down on you. "Yes, Mother," you replied, your voice steady but tinged with underlying doubt. "I know it's not going to be easy, and I know there are risks. But I need to give her one more chance. I need to see if there's still something worth saving."
Your mother's gaze softened, her expression shifting from worry to a reluctant understanding. "I see," she said quietly, her eyes reflecting a depth of emotion that words couldn't fully capture. "Just promise me you'll be careful. I don't want to see you get hurt again."
"I promise," you said, trying to reassure her as much as yourself. You turned to Alcina, who was watching the exchange with a mixture of hope and apprehension. "Let's go," you said to her, your voice firm but gentle.
As you walked away with Alcina, you felt a complex swirl of emotions—hope, fear, and cautious optimism. The path ahead was uncertain, but you were determined to face it, one step at a time.
You walked alongside Alcina as she led the way back to her carriage. She kindly offered to help you into the carriage, but you declined her assistance. She let out a heavy sigh as she closed the door after you, and the carriage began its journey to Castle Dimitrescu.
As the carriage rolled along, Alcina couldn't help but yearn to hold you close. She knew it was her fault that she had lost you. Not being able to embrace you, caress you, or even kiss you was her self-imposed punishment.
Sensing her intense gaze on you, you met her eyes with a curious expression. Upon closer observation, you noticed the weariness in her eyes and the fatigue evident in her appearance. Her restless hand fidgeted with her dress, seemingly struggling to contain the desire to touch you.
Upon arriving at the castle, you marveled at its magnificence. Though the castle had always been breathtaking, Alcina's presence surpassed its beauty, resembling a true goddess. A smile touched your lips at the mere thought.
As you stepped into the castle, the delightful sound of buzzing filled the air. Within moments, you found yourself enveloped in the warm embrace of the awaiting residents, eager to welcome you back.
"Mama, you're back!" the three of them exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with joy and relief.
"I'm back, my little bugs," you said, smiling warmly at them. "Now please, let go of me. I can't breathe!" You chuckled as their tight embrace loosened, allowing you to take a deep breath.
The girls reluctantly stepped back, their eyes still shining with happiness. "We missed you so much, Mama," one of them said, her voice tinged with emotion.
"I missed you too, my darlings," you replied, brushing a gentle hand over each of their heads. "But I'm here now, and we have plenty of time to catch up."
Just then, Alcina stepped forward, her tall figure casting a shadow over the room. "Y/N, I... can we talk?" she asked, her voice conveying urgency.
You nodded, understanding the gravity of the moment. "Off you go, girls," you told them gently. "We'll spend time together later. Right now, I need to have a conversation with your mother."
The girls pouted but obeyed, each planting a quick kiss on your cheeks before scampering off. "We'll be waiting, Mama!" they called out as they disappeared down the hallway.
You turned to Alcina, your expression serious but open. "What is it, Alcina?" you asked, your voice steady. "What do we need to talk about?"
Alcina took a deep breath, her eyes meeting yours with a mixture of determination and vulnerability. "It's about us, Y/N. About everything that's happened and what comes next."
You nodded, feeling the weight of the conversation ahead. "Alright," you said softly. "Let's talk."
Sorry y’all. I’m leaving you on a cliffhanger.

Hello Anon,
I'm glad you liked it. I didn't really think it would be this good and that people would like it, but I'm very happy that you all do. I'm currently working on part two, and it's nearly finished. It's quite lengthy, and I'll definitely include the part where the girls ask questions about their mama. For now, Alcina is back at the castle with the girls, unaware of her actions. Keep an eye out for part two! I'm almost done writing it.

Part 2
Summary: you don’t get one! Find out if you dare!

You were finally home. After a long day at Donna's, filled with endless conversations and discussions, you were back where you belonged. You couldn't wait to see Alcina, your fiancée, the woman you had been engaged to for two blissful months. The thought of marrying the love of your life, the person you would cherish for all eternity, filled your heart with joy and anticipation.
As you walked through the familiar hallways of your home, each step bringing you closer to your bedroom, you suddenly heard what sounded like moans. A wave of confusion and disbelief washed over you. No, she wouldn't cheat on you. She couldn't.
"Please, I'm close. Keep going. Faster," you heard her voice, unmistakably Alcina's, pleading.
"Well then, I can't deny you that. You can have me instead of her if you call off the wedding," another voice replied, one you didn't recognize.
A maiden? Really? This couldn't be happening. The shock and betrayal hit you like a ton of bricks. You thought she loved you. You thought—no, you couldn't think anymore. You needed to leave, but a small part of you clung to a sliver of hope. Maybe there was an explanation. Maybe there was still hope left. But that hope was cruelly extinguished when she uttered those final words. "I'll call off the wedding.”
Your heart shattered into a million pieces. The pain was unbearable. You couldn't stay in this place that once felt like home. It was no longer a sanctuary, but a prison of heartbreak. You walked to the library, each step heavier than the last. You took off your engagement ring with trembling hands and gently placed it on the table. You pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a note for the girls. How you hated that you couldn't say goodbye face to face. You loved them dearly, you did. They were your daughters, and leaving them behind was the hardest part.
With one last look at the life you had built, you turned and left, the door closing behind you with a finality that echoed through the empty halls. The place you once called home was now just a memory, a painful reminder of a love that was never meant to be.
"I thought we had forever," you whispered to yourself, the words hanging in the air like a ghost of what could have been. "How did it come to this?"
"Goodbye, my love," you murmured, your voice breaking. "Goodbye, my daughters. I hope you understand one day."
As you entered the night, the cool breeze kissed your tear-streaked face. "This is not the end," you told yourself, trying to muster some semblance of strength. "This is just a new beginning."
But deep down, you knew that a part of you would always stay behind, in that room, with the woman you thought you knew, and the family you had to leave behind.
You ran and ran until there it was—the cliff's edge. That's all you need to do. Jump, and your life would end just like that. You stepped forward, looking down at the water below. What else could you do? You took a step, then another. You were close to the edge. Shutting your eyes, you tried to close the memories with them, hoping to lock them away forever. A tear slid down your cheek, the pain of that tear no less than the pain of living. You took that final step, and it was all over. The wind rushed through your hair, and your body fell from a great height.
You got closer and closer to the water below until suddenly, you froze in mid-air. You were surprised and confused. You looked off to the side to see her—the black goddess, Mother Miranda, staring at you with her piercing blue eyes.
"Stupid girl. Why would you jump off a cliff? Are you wishing for death?" she asked, her voice a mix of scorn and concern. "Now, why don't you go back to Alcina? I'm sure she is looking for you, little one."
Mother Miranda's words cut through the haze of your despair. She brought you gently to the ground, making you stand in front of her. You felt the solid earth beneath your feet, but the ground beneath your heart felt like quicksand.
"She doesn't care," you whispered, your voice barely audible. "She doesn't want me, Mother." Your voice cracked, and the dam holding back your emotions broke. You fell to your knees, sobbing uncontrollably.
Mother Miranda watched you, her expression unreadable. She didn't want to admit that she had a soft spot for you. Hell, she loved you like a daughter, though she wouldn't admit it. She knelt beside you, her presence a mix of stern authority and unexpected warmth.
"Listen to me," she said, her voice softer now, almost tender. "You are stronger than this. You are worth more than the love or indifference of one person. Alcina may have made mistakes, but that does not diminish your value. Stand up, little one. Face your pain, do not run from it."
Her words resonated within you, a spark of hope in the darkness. You looked up at her, tears still streaming down your face. "But what if she never wants me back? What if I'm truly alone?"
"You are never truly alone," Mother Miranda replied, her eyes softening. "As long as you have the strength to stand and the courage to face your fears, you will always find your way. And remember, you have me. I may be harsh, but I care for you more than you know."
Using her magic to take you both home, you still held onto Miranda tightly. The journey was swift, and soon you found yourself back in the familiar warmth of your home. You sat on the couch with her, feeling the comfort of her presence. You lay down on the couch, resting your head in her lap. Her fingers gently combed through your hair, a soothing gesture that calmed your racing thoughts.
Miranda's voice was soft and tender as she whispered sweet things to you. "You're safe now, my little bird," she murmured, her words wrapping around you like a warm blanket. "Mama's here. I'll always protect you."
The emotions of the day caught up with you, and you couldn't hold back the tears any longer. You cried yourself to sleep, the gentle rhythm of her voice and the caress of her fingers lulling you into a deep slumber.
"Sleep well, my little bird," she whispered as she carefully lifted you and carried you to the guest room, which she had already decided would soon be your room. She laid you down gently, tucking you in with a loving smile. "Mama's got you," she said, her voice filled with unwavering affection.
She kissed your forehead, a tender gesture of reassurance, and quietly left the room, leaving you to rest peacefully, knowing you were safe and loved.

Chapter 2
“Be my guest it looks harder than it is”

Y/N pov
I had just got up, I should've been up at the crack of dawn. I walked to the kitchen to see if there anything to eat or I could make when I hear Tenzin voice "That sport is a mockery of the noble tradition of bending" what are they talking about I wonder. "Come on, Tenzin! I've dreamed about seeing a pro-bending match since I was a kid and now I'm just a ferry ride away from" I hear Korra say. So this is about pro-bending I knew Tenzin would never agree to it. I walked into the kitchen so that I could get something to eat or cook as I walked the both of them turned their heads to see me waking in "good morning Y/N" Tenzin said, I nodded my head to acknowledge him that heard him. Tenzin than turned his head back to Korra and said "Korra, you're not here to watch that drivel. You're here to finish your Avatar training" I look at Korra and see her face is filled with disappointment "So, for the time being, I want you to remain on the island" "all right, you're the master" Korra said sadly as she looked out the window.
As the both of them got up and walked I followed I walked beside Korra and I knew than that Tenzin had something important to say "So, my mother informed me that you've never been able to airbend before" "Yeah, but I don't know why. The other elements came so easily to me, but every single time I've tried airbending, nothing" Korra said frustrated with her left hand on her hip. I put my hand on her shoulder to give her some comfort and it does she turned her head and gave me a smile as I gave her a faint smile of my own which I quickly replaced it with a neutral face.
Placing his right hand on her shoulder "That's perfectly all right. You just need to be patient. Often the element that's the most difficult for the Avatar to master is the one most opposite to the Avatar's personality. For Aang, it was earthbending" "Yeah. Well, I'm about as opposite an airbender as you can get." Korra say sadly, I just shook my head and it was true she was but thats doesn't define her and I told her the multiple times but she never listens. We started walking as Tenzin spoke "Let's begin your first lesson" Korra looked at the airbending master dumbfoundead about what he was saying as we walked up the stairs we saw the three airbending kids Ikki was jumping excitedly while screaming "Korra's gonna airbend! Korra's gonna airbend!" Jinora in the other hand stood there solemnly and than Meelo just doing his own thing.
"What is that contraption" Korra said slightly amused to see the spinning gates "A time honored tool that teaches the most fundamental aspect of airbending. Jinora, would you like to explain this exercise?" Jinora step forward and walk closer to the spinning gates and stared explaining "The goal is to weave your way through the gates and make it to the other side without touching them" "Seems easy enough" Korra confidently said I doubt that Korra. Now it was Ikki's truns to say something "Jinora forgot to say that you have to make it through while the gates are spinning" she say said with some much energy "sprites where does she get her energy" I think to my self that girl has a lot.
Tenzin step forward and took an air bending stance his hands above his head than he thrust his hand forward, releasing a bust of air. 'Well Korra good luck' I think to myself, as keep watching Tenzin coat is blowing behind him with the amount of he just airbent I switch my focus back onto the gates and it's spinning like a lot. Tenzin had a left in his hand, he than let it go of the leaf gently "The key is to be like the leaf." Tenzin said as I watched the leaf movements as the leaf want thought the gates it never touched the gate even once "Jinora will demonstrate" Tenzin said with a serious face and looking down at Jinora as she looked up at her dad.
Jinora stepped forward and airbent the gates than she step into the spinning gates her hand held up to her face as tenzin watched his oldest daughter. Waving her way though the gates switching direction each time a spinning panel came near her "airbending is all about spiral movements. When you meet resistance, you must be able to switch direction at a moment's notice" I already knew about as I studied and learn all forms of bending. Jinora exited in the other side of the gates the panels were now being to slow down. Jinora truned around than blow a gust of air making the panels spin rapidly again and here I am standing next to Tenzin as thinking I could maybe I cloud I have never done the spinning gates.
"Let's do this" Korra said determined to get through the gate without getting hit. I watch as Korra runs into the contraption the first panel was easy to get through but the rest was hard as Korra tried to get through the panels but hitting all of them Tenzin grimaced in pain watching Korra. As she got hit by two panels again and finally Korra makes it out of the spinning gates as she got knock down by the panels, Korra soon got back up on her feet and ran into the spinning gates again as me, Tenzin, three kids watched. "Don't force your way through!" Jinora shoted with her hand cupped so that Korra could hear her" I can hear korra getting hit by the panels
"Y/N has Korra ever been light on her feet?" I look at Tenzin and back to the spinning gates and answer while watching my sister fail to get through the gates "not much Tenzin but sometimes she has, she is able to dodge rocks that come to her but it look like it's not helping that she is learning airbending" "I see" Tenzin says I just nodded. "Dance! Dance like the wind!" Ikki shouted at Korra, Korra got knocked back by one of the panels "Be the leaf" Meelo told Korra while waving his arms to motion the leaf. Korra made it out the gates as we walked to her she feel to ground I look at my sister and than back to the gates maybe I could try.
"Tenzin do you mind if I try?" I asked "be my guest it look harder than it is" Korra say to while getting up. Tenzin noded his head and airbent the gates I watched for moment than walked in with my hand held up to my face and staying light in my feet 'When you meet resistance, you must be able to switch direction at a moment's notice' I hear Tenzin voice in my head as I switch directions and repeat again as I get though the last panel I look at the airbending master and my sister "well how did I do?" I asked tenzin looked shocked and surprised as well as Korra but I saw a hit of jealousy in Korra. "That was amazing" Ikki yelled as she jump "yeah that awesome Y/N" Jinora said to me I both of them a small smile.
"Yeah that was awesome you should do it again" I hear Meelo I chuckled at that. I tuned to see Tenzjn looking at me "that indeed was great Y/N I have never seen anyone go through the spinning gates in their first try" "yeah that was great" Korra said with a hit of jealousy I just smirked at that I knew her well enough for her to be so "thank you Tenzin it looks like my studies have payed off oh and Korra stop mopping it doesn't look good in if your want to airbend you gotta start thing like an airbender ok?" I say as I turn to Korra she look at me and gaves me a nod.
"I think that's enough of training for today" Tenzin told the kids and Korra. Tenzin turned to me " Y/N can I speak to you?" "sure" I said following him to his office. "What is that you wanted to talk about Tenzin?" I asked as I stood crossing my arms "Y/N I need to ask you a favor" we'll this strange "what is it Tenzin? spit it out" "well you know your sister gets into a lot of trouble" "yes, I know Tenzin" "well I was hoping you would keep her out of trouble" "Tenzin I do that already. I'm 30 Tenzin I've been this for a long time you don't need to worry about Korra. with the whole Amon thing you need to focus on that and training Korra I'll try to keep her out trouble" "thank you Y/N" "is that all? I would like to go practice some bending before dinner" I asked Teznin "yes that is all thank you again" I gave him a nod than left his office.

"Airbend!" Korra said while punching forward I heard Korra so was frustrated that she could airbend but she need to be patient as I walk I see a newpaper with the picture of the chief of police Lin Beifong I think about her for a bit but I was bought back by korra "what is wrong with me? airbend" "you know that's not gong to work right" I say as I walk up to her. Korra was still sanding in the same position as she was before still trying to airbend but soon she became frustrated and impatient sighing as she sent a fire punch at the newspaper , I wanted to read that uhg guesse I'll go find a different one later.
"Aargh! Maybe I'm just not cut out to be an airbender, huh, Naga" Korra say frustrated "now don't say that Korra" I say as I put my hand in her right shoulder.

"I think I'm doing it wrong" I head Korra as walked to where they were. "Mind if I join?" I asked as everyone look to where I was standing "you don't even have to ask Y/N" Jinora said I sat down next crossing my legs, hands relaxed on my legs, closing my eyes as I take a deep breath in and out. Tenzin opens his eyes "There's nothing to do. Let your mind and your spirit be free" I knew when Tenzin said that Korra look annoyed "for air is the element of freedom" Korra chuckled at that and waved her hands. "Is something ... funny?" Teznin asked in dismay "Yeah, you're telling me to embrace freedom, but you won't even let me listen to the radio. And forget about leaving this island!" Korra said her voice filled with a bit of angry 'yup that's my sister the avatar but she does have a point' I think to myself.
"Please, Korra" Tenzin said than points at his Meelo "Look at Meelo; he's able to meditate peacefully" by now I had open my eyes and started watching them "umm Tenzin I think he's sleeping" I say to him, me and Korra look at each other than back to Meelo "What? Well, at least he has the relaxing part down." "Whatever. None of this airbending stuff makes any sense to me" Korra say clearly annoyed "I know you're frustrated, but these teachings will sink in over time. Then one day, they'll just click" Tenzin than closed his eyes and took a deep breath than opens his eyes. Korra tried agian but than soon gave up with a sigh "Yeah, it's not sinking in yet" Korra got up and stayed waking away "I'm gonna go get a glass of lychee juice."
"Korra, the meditation's not over yet!" Tenzin told Korra sternly but Korra was already gone "Daddy, can I have some lychee juice too?" Ikki asked with a hopeful smile "No" Tenzin told Ikki sternly. I just sighed "come on Tenizn just let her get some lychee juice" "fine" Teznin said Ikki smiled and jumped up and she came to hug me than left. "I didn't know you had a heart Y/N" Tenzin said to me, I looked at him with my eyebrow raised "and what's thats supposed to mean Tenzin" I say in a dangerously low voice "no.... nothing" he say quickly I smirk at that. "Good, I do remember beating you in a sparring match before Teznin wanna rematch?" I say, he look at me and shook his head "no I don't think so, I'm not going to fight a battle I know imma lose" he say "alright Teznin" I say, I gave him one Final look than left.
________________________________
"Patience, Korra!" Tenzin told Korra as she tried to get through the spinning gates but failing at it. If she keeps up with this than well than the gates might be destroyed and I was right Korra firebended as she destroyed the panels. As Teznin and the three kids look at Korra with wide eyes especially Tenzin "That was a two-thousand-year-old historical treasure!" Tenzin closes his eyes in frustration "what ..." Teznin angrily shouts at Korra making his cape fluttered behind him "what is wrong with you?" "There's nothing wrong with me! I've been practicing just like you taught me, but it isn't sinking in, okay? It hasn't clicked like you said it would" Korra said angry angrily at Tenzin.
"Korra, this isn't something you can force. If you would only listen to me ..." Teznin said calmer with his eyes closed "I have been! But you know what I think? Maybe the problem isn't me! Maybe the reason I haven't learned airbending yet is because" Korra pointed at Tenzin "you're a terrible teacher" "enough korra" I told her sternly she knew not to mess with me I might be her sister but I was also her water bending master with master Katara. Korra looked at me as if she wanted to say something I narrowed my eyes at her, she quickly shut her mouth and left.
I sigh "I'm sorry Teznin about Korra's behavior" "it's alright Y/N it's not your fault your doing your best" Teznin told me" he say as he put his hand my shoulder I gave him small smile which I never showed anywho beside some people. He seem shocked to see me smile even if it was lilttle he smiled back at me. "Yeah! You're a terrible teacher, Daddy!" Meelo said as he pointed his finger energetically at his dad. The two girls just hugged there dad I smiled at that.

Pema puts down the tray in the table "Okay! Everyone here?" Pema looked around to see if anyone was missing motherly instincts kicking in I guesed "Wait. Where's Korra" "Honestly, Pema, I am at my wit's end with that girl! I ... I don't know how to get through to her" that's all I heard before I zoned out think abt the chief 'spirits she's beautiful and yet no seem to notice that about her I wish that I could spend some time with her what I gave to know get to know her' I think to myself. I was only bought back when I heard Teznin "You must promise me that your teenage years won't be like this" "I will make no such promises" Jinora replied to her dad emotionlessly. Out of all the three kids I was closest to Jinora she was quite and intelligence but she was just a kid still so I let her be one when she's with me. I usually don't like people see this side of me which no will I hope.

I was with Tenzin trying to find my sister as we found a group of guards "Pardon me, everyone, have you seen Korra this evening? She's not in her room" he asked the guards. "You've gotta be kidding me! She's the Avatar, folks! Playing in a pro-bending match!" Well Teznin Pisa's his face is all red and his eyebrows twitch in anger , I on the other hand was still neutral "Can you believe that" uhg I swear Korra if anything happens I'm going to water wip you all the way back home. "I'll get her myself!" Teznin angrily says as her turn around to go get Korra and I went with him.

I looked at Korra my arms crossed while she look up at me and Tenzin "Oh, hey, Tenzin. I thought you didn't like coming to these matches and Y/N what are you doin-" "can't it" I snap at her. "Once again, you have flagrantly disobeyed my orders. You were to stay on the island! Let's go" Teznin said to Korra as I just stared at the players that were in the podium i thoses were her teammates but I don't care I gave them a hard glare. "No! I'm kind of in the middle of something" Korra shots at Teznin ". I have tried my very best to get through to you by being gentle and patient" his voice getting anger "but clearly the only thing you respond to is force! So I am ordering you to come back to the temple right now."
Is this going to be often I think them fighting "Why? So I can sit around and meditate about how bad I am at airbending? You know, I'm beginning to think there's a reason I haven't been able to learn it! Because, maybe, I don't even need it! it! know, I'm beginning to think there's a reason I haven't been able to learn it! Because, maybe, I don't even need it" "What? That is a ludicrous suggestion!" Teznin say than points at Korra "the Avatar needs to learn airbending! It is not optional!" I've had enough of them yelling at each other.
"No! This is what I need to learn! Modern styles of fighting" Korra say while pointing at the podium. "Being the Avatar isn't all about fighting, Korra! When will you learn that" Teznin told Korra but Korra has already truned and started to walk away "I have a match to go finish". I sighed uncrossing my arm so they fall to my sides.
Ring announcer
"The Platypus Bears win round two! The moment Korra stands on the platform, it starts ascending." Round three over. The Platypus Bears come out of the gate and quickly go after the Ferret brothers! They're corralled in the corner, wedged in the edge of zone one, unable to come to the Avatar's rescue! And boy, does she need it" (okay y'all I'm getting tried of writing this part so imma skip I know I can't keep skipping but in my defense I'm writing some long chapters for y'all)
The opposing firebender look annoyed by this sudden change; he and his team mates attack again. Korra who nimbly dodges their attack. Korra's feet, moving like an airbender would. Teznin look surprised and so do I for a little bit but not for long "How about that?" Teznin said dumbfounded.
Ring announcer
"The Platypus Bears have no juice left, but Mako and Bolin are still fresh and juicy"
'So that's there names huh Mako and Bolin not bad.'
"Knockout!" The ring announcer says so this mean they win not bad Korra.
I looked to the side and saw Teznin "woohoo!"he yelled as he pointed at the arena.
Ring announcer
"The Fire Ferrets come from waaay behind and steal the win! What an upset, folks! The rookies, Avatar in tow, have nabbed a place in the championship tournament! I can not believe it"

Teznin and me arrived at the island as we talked about the situation that's been going on in the city. We stop when we're near foot steps coming our way I knew it was Korra , Teznin glanced over his shoulder to see Korra. We truned around to see Korra as she started talking "I'm really sorry ... about everything I said" pointing to her self "I was really frustrated with myself" she than gestured toward Teznin "and I took it out on you" "I think I owe you an apology too. I was trying to teach you about patience, but I lost mine" "No hard feelings?" Korra asked hopefully "Of course not. By the way, you were really good out there tonight. You moved just like an airbender."
"Wait ... You stayed and watched" "yes we did Korra you really did a great job out there" I said to my sister she beamed at my praise not often do people get any praise from me . "We did. Pro-bending turned out to be the perfect teaching tool for you" Korra tuned around and started jogging in place "I'll see you tomorrow for airbending practice, bright and early" she said than turned around jogging away from us but not before she told us something "and, by the way, I kinda permanently joined the Fire Ferrets and we're playing in the tournament in a couple of weeks" finally now I can go to bed I deserves it. Before I left I looked at Teznin and asked "please tell me that you guys aren't going to fight anymore?" "well , I don't know about that" he said as he walked away "it better be a no Teznin. I am not dealing with you two fighting like kids" I shouted.
Feeling satisfied I turn around and went to my room I changed in my pajamas lay down on my bed. I stared at the ceiling for a while now thing about the chief. I can't stop thinking about her I wonder why. I sigh than close my eyes As feel the my eyes get heavy and so I drift off to sleep.

I found out what the avatars sisters name was after the speech that Korra gave. her name 'Y/N it's such a beautiful name' wait what am I thinking 'she's to young Beifong, she wouldn't want to be with you and you had your fair share of love' "I really need to do something about this" I say out loud as I pull up to my apartment. 'What am I feeling right now, why can't I stop thinking about her' I think to myself I didn't even realize that I was at my apartment door already.
Metal bending the door open I step into my apartment and went to my room, metal bending my armor off and putting it in my closet. I decided to take shower it's been such a exhausting day but my is flooded with the thought of the waterbender agian. I grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom taking off my clothes and turning on the shower. I step in under the the cool water I feel better but I still can't stop thing about
Y/N 'come on Beifong she's to young she would never want to be with you' "uhg why can't you just stop" I say out loud.
I finish off my shower and change into my Pajamas getting ready for bed. Finally I can rest I close my eyes but seem like I can't sleep, I stare up at my ceiling trying to think of something else besides of Y/N "uhg come on your a Beifong for fucks sake" I scold myself. Welcome to Republic City

Y/N was walking to the compound to watch Korra's bending test which she already knew her sister passed. As she walked in she heard Korra "Woohoo! Hey, why all the doom and gloom, people? We should be celebrating three elements down, one to go". "You're getting ahead of yourself as usual, Korra. We haven't decided if you passed your firebending test yet". "Ever since you were a little girl, you've excelled at the physical side of bending, but completely ignored the spiritual side. The Avatar must master both". Korra was now pouting Y/N chuckled at that she knew her sister. Korra quickly replied "I haven't ignored it, it just doesn't come as easy to me. But that's why I should start training with Tenzin immediately. He's Mister Spiritual".
"I think my sister has proven to have master fire bending , hasn't she master Katara?"
Y/N said with a smile as she walked to where everyone was the masters saw the young avatars sister walking to where they were. Y/N was now stood next to Korra ,Y/N bowed to the masters as the the master did the same to the prodigy water bending master. "Do you believe she's ready, Master Katara?" The white Lotus leader asked Katara "Yes. If anyone can teach her what she needs to learn, it's Tenzin." katara said with a smile. Y/N smiled at that, Korra would soon be the avatar and helping people.
She was only brought back out of thoughts when she heard Korra "Yes! Finally! , I mean, thank you all for believing in me" Y/N just smiled at that as she was tackled into a hug by her sister which Y/N laughed at but hugged her sister back , soon Korra let go of Y/N and started walking but unable to hold her excitement, breaking into a run leaving the training ground as the master watch her. "It's good to see you Y/N" Y/N turned around and went up to hug her former water bending master as she did katara just chuckled at the young masters child like behavior "it's good to see you too master katara" Y/N said as she let go of katara. Katara motioned for the young master to follow her and so Y/N did she could tell that katara wanted to talk to her it had been awhile since they had talked.

A few days later, Tenzin arrived with a very pregnant Pema, and his three kids. Katara greets her son and his family immediately while Y/N was walking to where Korra was as she had just gotten there. Korra watched the youngest son of Avatar Aang's with her big eyes full of excitement and a huge smile on face. Y/N in the other hand was much more reserved than Korra as for Y/N did not smile as much.
Tenzin looked over his mother shoulders to see the two young ladies standing there. "Korra, Y/N." Korra sprinted to where Tenzin was standing, ready to meet her new teacher, while Y/N walked forward "look at you Korra, you've grown into quite the young Avatar." His eyes lit up to see the young prodigy water bending master. "Y/N look at you, I have to say you are quite the fighter bending and non-bending." The girl nods at the airbending master. "Thank you master Tenzin." YN bowing to the airbending master soon be in interrupted by Korra,Y/N was not surprised to say the least that Korra would do so. "Master Tenzin, I'm so glad you're here. I can't wait to get started" he looks down at the young avatar finding it hard to tell her "yes, we'll..." Tenzin said with a sigh.
"You're going to have to tell her sooner or later" Pema said to her husband as she put her hand on his arm Korra now looking at Pema fully with a confused expression. "Tell me what?" Korra asked the airbening master with a hit disappointment and sadness in her voice "you're not staying, are you?" Katara asked her son sadly Tenzin sigh before speaking "I'm afraid not. We're only visiting for the night. Then I have to return to Republic City" "But ... no, you're supposed to move here. You're supposed to teach me" Y/N was now there standing next to Korra look at her sister Y/N had never been the one on to be touchy-feely as she says but looking at her sister face full of disappointment and sadness. she wished she could've done something that would her out ( y'all I can't write this part it's bit boring, so imma skip some of the talking, please don't hate me)
Afater Korra talked with katara she left the compound say goodbye to her parents but Y/N wasn't going to let her sister go by herself. Y/N had been to Republic city couple of times but she didn't know the streets well enough but new enough to get to Air temple island "where do you think your going?"
Y/N asked as she walked up behind her parents "ummm... nowhere I umm..." Korra knew she couldn't lie to Y/N she knew her to well so she gave up and told her where she was going "fine I'm going to Republic city to train with Master Tenzin" "alright let's go" "your going with me?" Korra asked Y/N "yeah come on let's got now I think I have everything, I knew you would leave so I had everything packed and ready to go" Y/N said as she got on Naga. "bye mom,bye dad , we love you" they said before they left.

"Korra we're lost aren't we?" Y/N said a bit pissed at Korra for running away form she had to find her again so here they are lost. " yea we are but let me ask those people over there" Korra said to Y/N and walked over to the people when where there as Y/N tried to figure out where they were. "Excuse me, I think I'm lost." Korra said as she walked closer to the old lady "How do I get to Air temple Island from here?" the old women points Korra to Air temple island as she does a red Satomobile turns the street. "You should get going young lady" lord worm said to Korra clearly she was scared " it isn't safe" she whispered to Korra. ( oki so this is a lot of writing so imma skip agin I know this is my second time I promise maybe one more skip form her than I'll stop).
"KORRA WHAT DID YOU DO!?!?" Y/N yelled at Korra while she ran to where Korra was but Korra was to busy watching the metal benders as they used there cable to lower themselves to down the ground "Police! Freeze, where you are" One of the officers said. "Cool! metalbenders" Korra said excitedly Y/N on the other hand was still pissed , she didn't want to get arrested just because of her sister. "I caught the bad guys for you, officers." Korra said to the officer "arrest them!" the officer said as three officers went to arrest the gangsters. Than officer pointed at Korra "you're under arrest, too" Korra took a step back than defensively "what do you mean I'm under arrest?" Korra than pointing at the gangsters and said "those are the bad guys over there! They were smashing up a shop" " from the looks of it, you smash up a lot more" He took up a fighting stance and shot a cable to bind Korra. However Korra quickly moved out of the way and pulling the cable back.
"Wait, you - you can't arrest me!" her arms were trembling due to the fact that she was pulling the cable's to stop the officer from arriving her "Let me explain!" " You can explain yourself all you like, down at headquarters" the officer said trying to retract the cable. "Please officer you can't arrest her" Y/N tried to reason with the officer but it didn't work "I'm sorry ma'am you need to understand we're just doing our job". Korra let's go of the cable and gets on Naga than starts to get away format he police " KORRA! NO JUST GO WITH THEM" Y/N yelled at Korra but Korra had already left and now Y/N was stuck. 'We'll this just is great first day in Republic city and she gets herself arrested now I have to go to Air temple island Teznin gong to kill me' Y/N thinks as she walking a to air temple Island. Y/N makes it to air temple island as she steps in the island she heard the air bending kids and as she walked up the stairs she saw at same time they saw her "Y/N" they screamed as they tackled her into a hug she Y/N wasn't a fan of hug but she only allowed some people to hug. "Hey kids can you tell me where your dad is?" "Dads in his office" Jinora told Y/N "alright thank you Jinora" Y/N said as she walked to Tenzin's office.
Y/N Pov
'Alright all I need to do is knock on the door and tell Tenzin that Korra got arrested or does he already know?' I though I was about to knock when the door opened and on the other side was the airbending master. He looked shocked to see me but soon he collect himself and cleared his throat "I'm guessing you already know Korra got arrested?" I asked "I I why what are you doing here and yes I do know" "well I'll tell you why me and Korra are here once we get here Tenzin" I told the airbending master.

"Chief, councilman Tenzin is here" I heard one of the metal bending officers "let him in" I heard a gruff but soft voice. As we walked in I saw Korra cuffed to a metal table and than I saw her she was the beautiful to say the least the chief of police , standing tall with authority 'so this is Lin Beifong she's so hot' I think to myself 'am I blushing !?!??' I tried to hide my blush it was a good thing no one was looking or paying attention to me. I was bought back out of my thoughts when I heard Korra's voice " Tenzin sorry... I got a little sidetracked on my way to see you" I mentally slap myself hearing Korra say that " Lin, you are looking radiant as usual" "Cut the garbage, Tenzin. Why is the Avatar in Republic City? I thought you were supposed to be moving down to the South Pole to train her" the chief asked Tenzin aggressively clearly she was annoyed.
"My relocation has been delayed. The Avatar, on the other hand, will be heading back to the South Pole immediately, where she will stay put" "but-" Korra try's to protest but it didn't work as she got cut off by Tenzin "If you would be so kind as to drop the charges against Korra, I will take full responsibility for today's regrettable events and cover all the damage" "fine" the chief says while crossing her arms and metal bends the cuff as Korra rubs her wrist "get her out of my city" "always a pleasure Lin" he turns to Korra and said in a hard tone "let's go Korra" as we were walking out I saw at the corner of my eyes the chief looking at me I tried not to think about it. When I look back I see the chief with her index and pinky figure out pointing it to her eyes than to Korra. As sign 'saying I'll be watching you' I see Korra mock her. 'Do you have death wish Korra' I think to myself when I see her mocking the chief.

Finally we make it back to Air temple island as the boat docks we see three gliders heading out 'it's the kids' I think to myself. "KORRA!" I hear Ikki and Meelo yell happily as they run to hug Korra Jinora stays behind until Korra motion hurt to join the group hug and so so does as she runs and hugs Korra. "Are you coming to live with us on the island?" Ikki asked Korra excitedly I just stayed quiet to see what Korra says "No, I'm sorry, Ikki. I have to go home now." Korra say sadly and I sigh as we start walking up to the Southern Water Tribe boat that had arrived with the white lotus members. I put my arm around Korra's shoulders to gave her some comfort and it does.
"Wait" we nothing stop walking and look back at Teznin "I have done my best to guide Republic City toward the dream my father had for it, but you're right. It has fallen out of balance since he passed. I thought I should put off your training in order to uphold his legacy" Tenzin walks up to Korra and out a hand her shoulder I smile at that it's rare for me to smile I don't often but I do smile "but you are his legacy. You may stay and train airbending here with me" Korra gasps as I just watch her r"Republic City needs its Avatar once again" "Yes! Thank you! You're the best!" Korra excitedly says "yaaaaaaay" the three kids celebrate as Korra pulls me and the three kids into a group than pulls Tenzin as well.

"Hello?" Korra say into the microphone "I'm Korra, your new Avatar" as the crowd cheer for Korra "Does this mean you've moved to Republic City?" "Were you trying to send a message to the Triads yesterday?" "Will you be fighting crime or the Anti-bending Revolution, or both?" "Will you be working with Chief Beifong and the police?" I'm a bit worried Korra has never been out anywhere so this is new to her but she doing great I am standing next to Tenzin on the lest as the chief of police stand to Korra's right. I can see the Chief glacing in my direction every once in a while I don't know why. Korra is a bit confused but she's holding up great "uh ... yes, I am definitely here to stay, but honestly I - I don't exactly have a plan yet. See, I'm still in training, but, look, all I know is Avatar Aang meant for this city to be the center of peace and balance in the world, and I believe we can make his dream a reality. I look forward to serving you." I smiled at my sister she did a great job for her first time being out in public. At the corners of my eyes I see the chief look at me she looks so be deep in though I don't know what about but looks relaxed but not for long as she is brought back out of her thoughts she. She hears the crowd cheer for Korra. Than I see the chiefs face shift into her 'work mode' as I call it.

I thought I could post this here as well. I have my book on wattpad but I thought I could give it a try on here as well.
Lunch with the Chief
I really don’t know what possessed me to post this. I have this posted on wattpad and thought about posting this on here but never really had the courage to and I got the courage to do it so here you go I guess. Masterlist

You got off the fairy to see the chief standing at the dock waiting for you. You smiled at her and waved as she did the same. You walked up to her "well it's nice to see you again chief" you say to her.
"Y/N you don't need to call me chief, you're not one of my officers'' Beifong said.
"Well, what do you want me to call?" You asked.
"My name Lin , say it '' she commanded you. Of course she is the Chief of police, why wouldn’t she command people.
"Alright Lin" you say her name with a smile. The two of you walked to her Satomobile and got in. "So where are we going?" You questioned her.
"Republic city dinner" Lin simply replied.
"Alright" you said as you looked out the window to see Republic city. Lin soon pulled up to the diner and parked her Satomobile.
"Let's go in" Lin said as you just followed her, one of the waitresses came over and led you two to a table.
The waitress came back and asked what the two would like to eat, Lin told the waitress what both of us would like today. "It's finally nice to properly get to know you, Lin," you say to her while taking a sip of water.
"Likewise, I'm glad to meet you properly and not in a situation where I needed to arrest the avatar again" she said as you chuckled at her. You had not forgotten about Korra getting arrested the day she got to the city. It was a mess.
"Indeed it is" you replied, you wanted to say something but got interrupted by the waitress bringing your food. Before you started eating your noodles you told Lin "you really do have the most gorgeous eyes, you know that right" Lin looked at you with shock and surprise in her eyes.
"I uh... t thank you" Lin stuttered out, turning her face away from you and trying to hide her blush. "You also have beautiful eyes too" Lin said to you which made you roll my eyes.
"Oh come on Lin now you're just flattering me" you said to her as you took a bite of your noodles.
"No really you do, there's just so bright blue and a hit of green in them , I have never seen a water bender have such color eyes " she said to you. You felt your cheeks heat up a bit.
"You know your eyes are the most vivid color of green I've ever seen. And trust me I know, I've traveled to the Earth kingdom and I've seen plenty of people with green eyes but you're it's so vivid emerald green" you told her as a matter of fact. It was true you had traveled to the Earth kingdom many times and no one’s eyes were like Lin’s eyes. They truly were beautiful.
Lin and you two spent the rest of her lunch break talking about your hobbies and interests. You couldn’t believe it. Lin’s lunch break was coming to an end. You had told Lin that you would pay for lunch but use instead that she would. You tried to object to that, but of course, stubborn as she is, Lin did not back down. You finally give in and let her pay.
Lin drove to the dock to drop you off so you could catch the ferry back to Air Temple Island. “Lin, I had a good time with you. Thank you. I hope we can do this again” you said to her as you turned and looked at her.
“Of course Y/N I had a great time as well. You’re welcome. I better get going now.” Lin said as she turned her head to look forward. You couldn’t help but smile at her. You kissed her check and ran out while saying bye. You missed the blush that had covered Lin’s face as she looked to where you once seated. She smiled to herself as she drove away from the dock.
"That was the most fun I had in all my years, she really is beautiful but yet she doesn't know" you thought to yourself as you walked up the temple stairs. Why does the temple even have so many of them?
'Come admitted it your in love with her"
"I am not, I don't even know her that well but she is pretty and-"
"And hot I know. You really need to ask her out"
"Ok I am not doing this with you again. Spirits I'm arguing with myself again" you say out loud.
You finally made it to your room and took a nap. You really needed it after spending an afternoon with Lin. Of course you slept with the thought of Lin.
