i keep wanting to write but i can’t because im stopping myself somehow from writing and I don’t know if it’s because I’m scared to finish this draft or just scared of what comes after or scared that I’ll have to stop again because I feel like I never have the time but it’s awful

im writing a little bit each day but it’s not MY wip or my current project and it just gets a little bit harder

but im going to get back into it, one because i want to, and two because i owe it to myself

the zombie apocalypse trope? or range has been getting popular currently, or at least it feels like it. both your projects (even if they're back burners) sound amazing! especially the alien mind control one, I'd be excited to see where that leads

I would definitely say one way to engage with other blogs and making mutuals is staking their writeblrs (not like ACTUALLY but usually I love looking at whatever intro or posts about their wips or what they like to read to find a common ground) and reblogging their posts with comments :)

I think the best way to make mutuals is getting involved in tag games, either about your wip or just in general! Storyteller Saturday asks are the best cause they’re done weekly, and other than that showing an interest in other people’s wip’s will generally be reciprocated with your own!
