The ability and right to choose is not exclusive to you.
If you think abortions are tantamount to murder, do not get one. But that is your choice. Other people have the ability and right to choose otherwise.
If you do not like piercings and tattoos, do not get them. But other people have the ability and right to decide what to do to their own bodies.
If you want to believe in a higher guiding authority and follow regulations by which to live under a religion, that is your choice. But other people are not obligated to comply with the regulations you have imposed upon yourself. Other people have the ability and right to choose how to live.
The ability and right to choose is for ourselves. It gives us the right to say I have made this choice for myself. Not I have made this choice and everyone else must comply.
I know this topic is extremely controversial and extremely nuanced and blah blah blah and I'm lighting a rock on fire and bashing my own skull in with it, but....
Sometimes. People are just ready to die.
That's it. I firmly believe assisted suicide, at absolute minimum for the terminally ill, should be a universal concept. People want to die with dignity. People want to die with comfort. People want to die feeling like themselves.
When someone is ready to die, peacefully, we should let them.
why are you harassing people, little bro? The main proship rule is not to harass other people. You're not a proship, you're a damn fucking anti

may i predict "ARE YOU CONDONING RACIAL SEGREGATION" bad faith takes ?
I'll take that bet for $700, Kevin.
Actually I think having kids is too normalized.
I mean like; not only has it become an expectation for people (not just talking about fascists and sexist pigs controlling women's choices) but people are just so... Out of touch with what "having a baby" actually means.
Not just for the immediate future but also long term.
"We'll cross that bridge if it comes to it!" is an alarmingly common response these days when parents are questioned about the future with their child. People seem to be so caught up in just having a child and a pretty nursery that they don't seem to think beyond that point at all.
I know so, so many people who suffered a shitty upbringing because their parents had a child because "its just what couples do." Parents who never planned for unforeseen circumstances. Parents who left crucial developmental stages to other people. Parents who never bothered to learn how to actually raise another human being.
