My submission for the Lockwood & Co Disney AU exchange we did over on the Chaos Discord!

I had a lot of ideas for this one, my assignment was the Little Mermaid with Lockwood as Ariel and it was so fun!

I may add some more to this idea in the future but for now here is the finished product: A mermaid prince Lockwood enamored with the mysterious young artist he spots doing some rather risky plein-air painting at sea

the fact that Edwin lived in the early 1900s is a fantastic source of comedic potential. he's just constantly saying things that he doesn't realise are completely batshit insane, and the others are just left utterly floored.

like they're all talking and Crystal mentions she's tried cocaine once on a wild night out, and Edwin, who used to get that shit medically prescribed at the drop of a hat is like ??? okay?? hope you felt better, it always used to help me when I had a cold too :) charles why are you laughing?

Do you ever just stop and think about how all the old famous artists (especially of any renaissance) would probably be upset that their art is so hard to see?

I’m not a painter, I’ve never had talent (or much joy) for physical arts, and museums honestly bore me, but I dance (semi-professionally) and I love musical theater and I can’t believe how expensive it is to see and learn art…
