idk how disturbing y’all like y’all’s caldre to be… i’ve seen some people complain about them being portrayed too dark and some people complain that they’re not dark enough … IDK WHAT TO DO

i have an idea for a dark caldre fic… should i write it… it’d be rather short but still…

Ur posts about sad zero day things made me think of like.. ik cal burned a lot of his stuff in that fire but what if there was something of Cals one of his siblings has always wanted or admired him for (like I hc that he was rlly good at skateboarding and had a real cool board) and they take it with them whenever they eventually move out of the house :,| like if his parents kept whatever it was of cals for long enough

i bet he had some things that he kept, more than andre at least. i feel like he left some clothes, leaving behind the smell of him for a while and a memory of him forever. he definitely left them some stuff they thought he was cool for too !!! i hc him as a skater too and i imagine him teaching his little sister or brother to skate a little before zero day and leaving the board in their room the morning of the plan. he might have also left some music as well or some horror movies; his siblings probably listened to his music and wanted to watch the scary movies w andre and him but they were too young.

also … i imagine them looking through all of his things he left behind and trying to grow up like their cool older brother because they don’t really understand what he did at the time. people at school treat them horribly and make comments about cal all the time.

still, they’re so much different from cal even if they don’t want to be. while cal turned to violence, they turn to the love of their families and memories of the past

his little brother also definitely grew his hair out a little bit so he would resemble cal. when his little brother got braces, cal’s parents thought they were looking at their oldest boy again but realized that they would never see him anymore

andre going to germany for a week every summer to see family and cal not being able to go. andre brings cal back an “i ❤️ germany” shirt as a joke but cal wears it everywhere. he sleeps in it, he goes to school in it, he hangs out in it—andre can’t escape it

how would cal be in a relationship? (basically how you did with andre but just cal)

okay so… i feel like it depends on who he’s in a relationship with: andre or anyone else

in a relationship with andre, cal would never leave his side. they would sit in silence together or cal would simply come over even if andre wasn’t home just to sleep in his bed. their love wouldn’t be loud, but it would definitely be solid and unwavering. he would show his love through acts of service and quality time, sometimes even physical touch but that is a touchy subject for both him and andre, so he mostly strays away from it. he gets jealous easily and doesn’t think it’s obvious, but it definitely is. andre can read him well enough to know he’s angry.

in a relationship with someone else, cal would still spend a lot of time with them, but he would need breaks. he would get frustrated if he spent too much time with them, getting overwhelmed and his social battery dying out. he would hate physical touch, opting for gift giving because he’s not good with words. he wouldn’t like to hang out with the person’s friends and doesn’t trust that they don’t say stuff behind his back like the kids in the limo did once he got dropped off an andre’s place. he also gets jealous in this relationship too, but instead of getting angry he just gives the person the silent treatment. he’s the type of boyfriend your friends hate and you don’t see anything wrong with until you get out of the relationship.
