I was at work study and the girl I was working with asked for authors I liked and I was like “oh you know, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Brandon Sanderson…” and then because I was feeling quite bold, I added, “Shannon Messenger.”

She was like “oh, I’ve heard of Shannon Messenger!”

And I was like “yeah hahaha… can’t wait for her new book to come out in December…”

Alden's "no reason to worry" thing makes it seem like he has a tendency to ignore problems/act like they don't exist, but the truth is actually the opposite.
