Hosanna Matthews- Hosanna is an expression of adoration in the Bible, and also an exclamation of praise, which is what I feel definitely applies for Fem Hosea. (Also I wanted to find a biblical name that sounded like Hosea)

Dutch Van Der Linde - I know, very creative. But “Dutch” just comes from cannon Dutch’s heritage, she will also be referred to as “The Dutchwoman.” By her varying oppositions. (Her real name is Danielle- coming from Dutch’s Wiki page saying his birth name is Daniel)

Martha Morgan - usually I am the type of person that likes to keep their initials consistent, but I keep thinking about that interaction between Hosea and Arthur from chapter 2 and I can’t shake “Martha” from my head.

And lastly

Charlotte Smith - I mean, what do you expect.. his name is Charles.. and Charlotte is the feminine equivalent of Charles. I feel like it would fit him perfectly- and again, there is a side character with her name lmao

YESS DUDE OMG she’d be such a daddy’s girl (just like how Jack is a momma’s boy) and I feel like if she survived the cannon timeline she would actually be interested in the herding, hunting, fishing, and gunslinging that John always tried to get Jack involved in. Their relationship would probably be a lot like Bonnie’s relationship with her dad lol (he’s stern and protective of her)

I feel like everyone making a Modern AU of RDR LOOOVES to make sure Issac is alive (which I love too I want to see Issac) but EVERYONE forgets about John’s daughter who died too :( like what about her? Can’t she live too? What would yall name her? I wanna know 🙏🙏

One of my favorite Headcannons, of many, I have for Dutch and Hosea is that they still take things from each other, even after all these years, just as a little playful gesture to keep each other on their toes, a reminder that; “you’re stuck with me, just remember I’m just as a devious of a bastard as you” sort of thing. Like I can imagine: Dutch looking everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE for his gold chained pocket watch and dangling charm for his vest that he SWORE he left on his bedside table, ripping apart his tent and others trying to find it, when Hosea comes up to him all smug, saying: “this it?” Pulling it out of his pocket, leaving Dutch flushed, yet impressed.
