Hello There. Ive Been Meaning To Write This Here And Im Finally Doing That Now.
Hello there. I’ve been meaning to write this here and I’m finally doing that now.
If anyone has been wondering what has happened with my art during the family reunion, I’m letting you know now. I had an awesome time and I was able to show some of them off while I was there too. I didn’t sell any of my art while I was there, but I while I was showing them off, a few people were interested in buying some of them. I remember some of them asking what the prices are for some of them. I also heard a couple of them said they were interested in buying my watercolor painting of a monarch butterfly.
So from what’s happened, it’s likely if I’m going to sell any of my art to my family members, it’s likely they’re gonna have to contact me by phone, email or a Facebook message. Not that I’m complaining. I’m just happy I was able to let them see my work.
I found out my cousins are planning another family reunion for next summer around the same day. If it becomes official, I’m still hoping I can definitely sell art during next year’s family reunion. It’s most likely I will but I’m hoping some of my relatives will leave with my art too.

It's a paper doll chibi version of the Nostalgia Critic about to lose it after seeing an image of the infamous "Bat Credit Card" from the movie Batman & Robin (which I am not a fan of) on my home computer. As you can see, paper child Nostalgia Critic looks like he wants to destroy my computer after seeing this image! He's not really gonna do that.
The paper child drawing of the Nostalgia Critic was given to Doug as a gift at Zenkaikon over a year ago.

I just finished my portrait drawing of the Xenomorph. I’m pretty sure this is the result of watching all the Alien movies for the past few months. This was completed with charcoal pencil, chalk pastel and blenders. I also wanted to experiment with charcoal again after finding a piece of charcoal paper. This is the first charcoal drawing I’ve made in a couple of years.
I’ll admit this is the most difficult portrait I’ve made. How the hell did H. R. Giger manage to pull off designing this thing?

Rumble tried to steal cookies so I stopped him.

NEW UPDATE: Business card is completed. I have it saved as a photoshop and a png file. I’ve already uploaded the png image to the family reunion Facebook page. Same rules and reasons apply to the business card as well as the price sheet. It will only be seen on the Facebook page. I should be able to have copies of it printed out before the family reunion this weekend.
Hi peoples. There’s something I want to bring up. I mentioned a couple of months ago that I said I’ll be going to a family reunion in July. I also said I would be selling my artworks there too. I wanted to give everyone an update about what’s happened so far.

As of now, I have completed the portfolio and the price sheet and I’ll post them on the family reunion Facebook page. I would’ve completed them sooner but I’ve been occupied with other things going on at home. I recently found another piece of art I can sell and I had to update the price sheet and portfolio as well. I’ll be working on the business card and I’m hoping to get that completed and have copies printed out before the day of the reunion.

Here’s the link to the completed portfolio. In order to see the artworks, just click the links on the left side. The artworks are categorized by the mediums used to make them. I would also upload the price sheet too but that’s only going on the family reunion Facebook page. The reason is because there’s detailed information about my contact information and [no offense] but I’d feel very uncomfortable if everyone here knew all of that.
I’ll post another update involving the reunion when I get the chance.
