Idol! Bangchan x Reader: LTNS

A/n: ah… This one took a lot of time.. no reasons, just I have been a bit down anyways. FLUFF AND a little bit of SMUT in the end. Hope you enjoy it.

Summary: Yn Ln is Hannah Bahng’s best friend since forever, even their mums were close. She knew Bangchan well until he flew away to South Korea to pursue his dream. When he returns home after and sees her for the first time after all these years.

“Hannah! Are you wearing make up?” You watched Chan ask on Vlive and smiled as you waited for your friend to come out of her house.

Within a few minutes you heard footsteps and a hug as a voice was heard “Why don’t you just go upstairs and meet him?” Hannah said

“Nah. I’m fine from watching from afar. You know I am awkward” you said smiling.

“Whatever lets go, I have lots of things to buy actually lets go” Hannah said pulling you to the car behind her. And as expected the two of you had a blast shopping for various food and also including snacks and stuff. Actually, Mrs. Bang sent Hannah for shopping for dinner that night and Hannah asked you to tag along.

On your way back the two of you grabbed some coffee and by the time you both went back to the Bang house it was evening.

“Y/n, you’re staying for dinner” Mrs. Bang said and you went in panic mode.

“No. Mrs. Bang actually I have this thing to do at home and Nana doesn’t know-”

“Don’t worry I’ve spoken to her. It’s fine” she said.

“C'mon, Y/n what are you so afraid of?” Hannah asked.

"I’m not afraid I just don’t want your brother to think I am weird or something” You said.

“He won’t, That’s Chris, he’s plenty weird himself” Hannah said as you two entered her room and Berry came jumping to greet you.

“Hi Berry. Hi Berry” you said petting her and hoping for the best.

You were helping Mrs. Bang set the table when you heard Hannah voice, “Can’t you wear some more clothes Y/n’s here” and then retreating foot steps were heard and a sighing Hannah was seen to enter the room. To say you were nervous was an understatement. Of course you’ve seen and met and even spent time with Bangchan before but that was in childhood. And you never spoke to him after he shifted to South Korea. You’ve only seen him on screen and on stage. Besides being a Stay doesn’t help, you’re not just meeting your bestfriend’s brother, but also your idol.

“Hey Y/n!” Suddenly a chirpy voice echoed through the room and broke your train of thoughts

“Chris!” You said not being able to hold your happiness.

“You’ve grown up so much! Your so tall now” he said.

“You’re embarrassing yourself” Hannah mumbled

“You’ve grown to Chris” you said laughing as Mrs. Bang ushered all of you to sit down.

You and Hannah have always been really good friends, since childhood. You both basically lived with each other generally at each other’s houses, so this was very common for you when both of you are home. However, it’s been ages since Chris was present here too.

Conversation flowed and one thing led to another and you were talking about age somehow.

“Yeah You guys have grown up, but you all are still so young”

“Yeah Chan you’re half 52” you suddenly said and immediately regretted saying that.

“What did you say? And what did you call me?” He asked smiling

“Chris?” You said.

You saw Hannah and Lucas laugh in your peripheral vision.

“Y/n your a stay” Chan cooed.

And you couldn’t take it, you hid your face in your palms, cheeks red in a blush.

“Don’t tease her, her she’s a stay” Mrs. Bang confirmed. “She’s also my informer on what’s going on, with you and your members”

“So that’s how you always know everything” Chan said and her mother nodded. You ate with the huge blush on your face. What you didn’t see was Chan noticed it and found it really adorable. Chan had so many questions that he did after he knew that you’re a stay like:

“Whose your Bias?” “Whose your Bias wrecker?” “Favourite m/v?” “Favourite song?” at a point he smirked and asked “Favourite ship?” and Hannah was done as said “Mom please shut Chris” to which he just laughed adorably, but you answered all of the questions truthfully, well almost all of them.

“Changbin” 

“Definitely, Felix” to which Hannah noticed Chan to have a momentary frown.

“(your favourite m/v”

“(Your favourite song)”

“Minsung and Chanjin” the moment the second ship name came to your mouth Chan just choked on his food. But, Mrs. Bang saved you from any further questions by bringing in the dessert.

“Chris! Can you take Berry for a walk?” His mom asked Chan, who was simply sitting and working in his Lucas’ room.

“Sure mum” he said and wore a black hoodie and sweats. He remembers to wear a mask before wearing his shoes and attaching Berry to a leash.

“Let’s go Berry! Let’s go!” He said and exited his house. He walked towards the park as Berry loved barking at ducks (a/n: idk I made that up) and as soon as he entered the park a. Call startled him. He smiled wide at the contact number and received the call.

“Oi Felix!” He said

His deep voice was heard from the other side of the phone. And the two started chatting and planning a lunch together when suddenly Berry slipped out of Chan’s hand and ran in a different direction. Leaving a shocked Chan who excused himself with a promise to call back and ran after Berry.

You were sitting in the park with your sketch book and listening to music but suddenly you hear a familiar bark and pull your headphones off and go into shock “Berry?”

She comes running right into your arms and licks your face. And you giggle, when you noticed Chan running towards you and cursed under your breath.

“Oh my god Berry! You can’t run off like that” he said “Hi” he mumbled

And you said hello back. He simply sits down beside you.

“How are you? I haven’t been able to talk to you with you keeping on running away and avoiding me” he said. And you burst out in giggles, no this was not strange for Chan and you. You just felt awkward to meet him as you really haven’t in so long. But, he did always spend time with you and took extra care of you just like he cared for Hannah, specially because you stayed with your grandma and he knew you rarely saw your parents. 

“I’m not avoiding you Chris. I just feel awkward after so many years” you said adding a few more details to your drawing. 

“Is that the reason you didn’t text me or let Hannah tell me when you went to South Korea all alone for your school program” he asked and finally grabbed your pencil and said “Look at me Y/n. We’re talking”

And you finally looked up at him, into those lovely eyes of his and almost had yourself drowning in them. The look itself was enough to bring on an apocalypse, No make up, curly hair and that smile. 

“I know you’re busy so I didn’t wanna bother you” you said with a tight smile

“Y/n no matter how busy I am I would always have time for family and you are in it” he said

“Sorry Chris, if it makes you feel better, then I should tell you I’ll be going there again” you said shyly “And You’re the first person I am telling” 

“Really?” He asked and you nodded “Not even Hannah?” he asked with a gleam in his eyes

“Well she knows I got the offer, but she doesn’t know I said yes” You said and found Chan cheering. By that time Berry was fast asleep on your lap and the two of you chatted, and caught up. It seemed so easy to talk to each other that the fact that he moved away when you were very young didn’t really matter.

And thus, meeting Chan at the part every evening became a thing between the two of you that only Hannah knew, cause she saw the two of you one day. On the third day Chan suddenly said “Do you wanna grab lunch tomorrow?”

You were taken aback at the question, as blood rushed to your cheek, but before you could say anything, he said “Hanna and I are going to meet Felix and his sisters, I think you should come too it will be fun” 

You kicked yourself mentally for even thinking- you nodded a yes and stood up and said “Isn’t that a things you guys always do? Even though I have hung out with Olivia but-”

“I want you there and even Felix has wanted to meet you” he said

“Fine! Fine!” I’ll come with you guys.

And you found yourself surrounded with a bunch of famous people but also ones you love.

“Seriously Y/n made all of us promise to not tell our brothers. Like girl, what if you needed help!” Olivia said laughing

“Yeah, Y/n its really reckless. Tell you what, put in your number I’ll ping you. You can always talk to me” Felix said pointing at his phone and you laughed

“Hey. Why not me?” Chan whinned

“I’ll tell both of you okay!” You said

“But, me first” child gave you a cheeky smile and said.

“I swear these two never grew up” Hannah sighed and everyone laughed.

“Why are you always so done with me?!” You asked with a fake cry and heard felix mumble “Kiyowo” and you immediately asked “What?”

“Nothing” he said with a cute smile.

“But you had heard it, undoubtedly” you just looked at him and then at Hannah and then smiled, what you didn’t know was that it was actually directed towards you.

And that’s how a great friendship between Felix and you has started. So naturally when Felix got to know that you’ll be moving to South Korea soon, (much to Hannah’s dismay though) he was really happy. And this continued even after they went back. But this time, even Chris had you number and you’d text every once in a while.

One day you were just sitting in your room and doing some work when you recieved a video call invitation from Felix, which you joined and found 4 pair of eyes staring at you.

“OH. MY. GOD!!!!” You shreaked

“Hello, Beautiful!” You heard Han say and you instantly hid your face in your palm.

“Hi Jisung” you said in a muffled tone.

“Look Y/n! We brought your bias!!!” They said, as you took a deep breath and looked towards the screen and said in fluent Korean “Hello everyone, I’m Y/n L/n. I am so happy to meet you guys”

“You know Korean?!” Changbin asked visibly impressed.

“Ah. Yes yes, I learnt it ages ago before I went for the first time” you said smiling

“I can already tell we’re gonna be the best of friends.” Han said cheering

“Try telling that to Hannah she’ll have your head” you said laughing “She actually threatened me that I better not dare replace her, which actually is impossible for me.”

“That sounds very much like Hannah” Chan said.

“You know they said so many things about you and specially that you’re a stay that’s so cool” Changbin said and you blushed and said “I’ve stanned you ever since before you guys debuted actually. I watched the survival show with Mrs. Bang.” You said.

“That was something” Felix said shaking his head.

“So, what are 3racha and Felix doing?” You said

“Oh we were recording, do you wanna-” but you interrupted Chan

“NOO! NO SPOILERS!” you said and the four boys burst out laughing. They chatted and teased each other a bit more after they dropped the call.

“Nervous?Why are you nervous?!” Felix’s deep voice flowed through the phone into your ears.

“Because it all gets real the moment I step here. And it’s been a while since I’ve been here. Last time, I didn’t call Chan, actually I broke all ties with him since I reali-”

“That you were in love with him?” He completed your sentence. “It’ll all be okay”

You sighed and asked “Are you guys there yet?” You asked.

“Yeah. At the gate, now pick it up buttercup” he said in a deep voice, that almost hit your brain at the wrong corner, (keyword: almost).

You picked up your baggage from the designated baggage belt and went towards the exit, there you found a super excited Felix and Han and you pulled the trolly and put it at a stop to rush and hug Felix who already had arms open for you. And then you opened your arms for Jisung to join you two and he gladly did.

“It’s so good to finally meet you in person Y/n-ah!” Han said

“It is so good to see both of you too” you said.

“Okay lets move before we get spotted or worse scandaled into a throuple” Felix said.

“You’re coming with us, Lee Know hyung cooked some great food as your welcome dinner” Han said opening the trunk of the car.

“I told Chan to ask you guys not to do these stuff, you rarely get off days, why get busy doing these?” You asked.

“That is because these small things are part of our ralaxing and keeps us sane” Felix said as he entered the passenger seat and Han and you entered the back seat.

The three of you enjoyed the ride to the dorm blasting Twice and BTS songs, through the car speaker. You actually noticed the driver sigh, the moment the music was turned off when you reached your destination.

Meeting the members was a delight that you could not believe that these guys you always see on the screen are actually in front of you. The fact that they are so warm and welcoming to you is something else. All were there except Hyunjin and I.n who already had stuff planned with their families. But this was okay and was already too huge of a dream for you. The boys kept on with playful banter and quarrels and you couldn’t help but laugh. You were certainly having the time of your life. Bangchan asked you so many questions about your new place and how he’d help if you needed some muscles.

“I don’t think you should stay alone for the first night though” Felix told you as you were getting into the van that would take you to your house.

“Lets do this then, Felix join Y/n and stay the night, I’ll go too, we’ll help Y/n settle and get all the necessary and then we’ll see” Chan said

“I wanna come!” Seungmin said

“I am going home tomorrow morning so I’ll visit” Minho said and you face palmed

“Guys this is not necessary!” You protested

“It is” Chan said “and it is non-negotiable its either that or you spent night here, and we take you to your apartment tomorrow” Chan said with a smirk and he knew he had you right where he wanted you.

You sighed and you knew very well what he was doing, he used this smart persuasion method even when you were little. You nodded your head and climbed in as Seungmin, Felix and Chan piled in, it was the same driver from earlier. The drive to Gimpo was just the 4 of you talking about childhood, the various memories you have. It was really good to have people you know and can talk to this time round, last time you came, the first few days were a torture.

“How were you planning on managing to do so much alone!?” It was the first thing Seungmin said as they entered the apartment.

“Well, I was going to do it one at a time, they have the tool kit” you said sheepishly.

“Good thing Chan Hyung insisted” Felix said.

You all settled in and looked around, the balcony being the main attraction to you. Your floor was quite high and the night lights looked so beautiful with the cool breeze blowing. You stood there and clicked a few pictures to send them to Hannah. You didn’t know how long you were out when Chan came in with two chairs and said “These seem to be quite fittings here?”

“Yeah it would be great to sit here” you said and sat on one of the chair and patted on the other.

He sat down and a moment of silence prevailed before you said “Thank you for re-adopting me. I don’t know what I’d do without you”

“I’ve told you, you are family.” He said putting a hand on hand and within a second you felt blood rush to your cheeks but you managed to nod. That was written before Seungmin’s voice was heard saying that the bed has been set, and after a huge debate you 4 decide to spend the rest of the time chatting or playing and then restart assembling furniture in the morning, and later will go grocery shopping with Minho.

The rest of the night (which was barely 4 hours) was spent sharing embarrassing stories about each other.

As soon as the sun rose, you 4 got to work, the first goal was to set up the couch and coffee table.

Within 2 hours a knock was heard and Bangchan went to open the door, only to welcome a very excited Han.

“I asked Lee Know hyung to drop me on the way to his way to his home and I brought Coffee and breakfast” he said and Felix ran to hug him, as he was a saviour. Yes, He brought juice for Felix.

The rest of the day was very productive as the furniture was set, the kitchen was put up and your cupboard was set up, yes Chan had exceptional leading skills and without them you would just be swimming in a pile of wood. Thank heavens they helped, hence after a nice take out dinner, the 5 dispersed in 2 cars and you closed the door and ran to your bedroom and plopped on the bed. Damn, staying with Bangchan so much was making your heart go heyware.

You still had 2 more days and decided to go exploring the next 2 days. Because it will be work and work then onwards. You looked up at the ceiling and remembered the various moments shared between you and Chan. How he comforts you, assures you, you just can’t help falling more and more for him.

Suddenly, your phone started to ring and you saw your best friend’s name flashing, you smiled and picked up, it was a a video call and as soon as you recieved you saw your Grandmother’s face along with Hannah’s.

“How are you girl?” Hannah said. Yes she visited and stayed over with your Nana often when you were away so that the old woman didn’t feel lonely.

“I am settled, still nervous but better than last time” you said

“Did Chris help you with your things?” Nana asked

“Yes, Nana, he and his friends helped me set up my furniture and kitchen, let me give you both a tour” and you ended up giving a tour and telling them various funny stories that happened earlier that day. You guys chatted for sometime and then Hannah went to your room to talk to you.

“So, how was your time with my brother?” She asked

“Nothing, he just helped, well and I am in deep love. Damn” you confessed.

“You are down bad” she concluded.

“I am a simp for your brother” You owned up and the two of you burst in laughter. But, it was true, you’ve had this huge crush on Chris since you were kids, you were so hurt when he moved away. But, the more you grew up and watched him from afar, the more you fell for him. As a result of you being in love with this said human.

Your workplace was very close to your apartment and thus you left the house every morning and picked a croissant and a vanilla latte from this little cafe you found on your exploration day. You have wlso been there with Chan as the cafe is generally empty during the time you return home when Chan generally visits, which is now almost twice a week. Your days have been somewhat peaceful, these past few months since you moved, apart from the growing crush you had and it really hurt you physically to talk to Chan and not be able to hug him or kiss that beautiful face of his. And again you did something drastic, yes you stopped talking to Chan, yet again.

“This is a very stupid idea” Seungmin said as soon as you recieved his call.

“What?” You ask shocked and slightly taken aback. What was he talking about?

“You can’t just ignore a person because you have a crush on them. You need to tell Chan hyung, either he reciprocates and you date or he doesn’t and you move on!” He said.

He knew? How?. “What? How did you even- Felix told you?!” You exclaimed.

“I’m not blind Y/n” he told you and you sighed

“I don’t know what else to do, Seungmin!” You whinned.

“Well, you wouldn’t have to, because he’s going straight to yours and he’s determined to know why you are avoiding him” He said and you felt like hitting you head on a wall.

He hung up after some more encouraging words, and you felt the energy drain out of you. Thinking of a way to handle this situation when there’s a knock on the door and you know who it was, you walked to the door and opened the door to come face to face with a super tensed Chan.

“Don’t even say no, why are you avoiding me? Did I do or say something wrong? Did I make you uncomfortable?” He asked “Please tell me, talk to me please!”

“No-no, I just had my reasons” you said not being able to look at him

“And what are they. You’ve said this before, but you can’t always just say that. Why don’t you tell me?!” He said. For someone who’s so patient Chan strangely seemed to have lost it and you couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted the reason so he’ll get them and you said it

“Cause, I am stupidly in love with you! Yes, I have had a huge crush on you since childhood, that only grew and grew as we grew up. And that was also the reason why I stopped and dropped all contact with you as I thought that it would go away, but it didn’t. And now again, I just can’t look at you without just wanting you. You can call me selfish if you want but that is how it is and thus I pulled away.” You said, but Chan’s shocked expression broke your heart.

“I know it’s too much and you probably dont feel the same so dont worry” you added

“Yeah-Yeah I-I want I need, I’ll need to unpack that. I am sorry” he said and with that he ran out of the apartment. And you made a decision, you will move on.

5 days later, Skz dorm

Lee know and Felix are seen to have burst in thr!ough the door they looked straight and asked “What did you do? She’s planning on going back.”

“What? What are you saying?” Chan asked visibly confused.

“What happened between you and Y/n? She just stopped talking to us all of a sudden. Please tell us hyung! She’s searching for someone to replace her so she can fly back” Felix said

“Something happened between you too right?” Minho asked.

“She confessed didn’t she?” Seungmin said looking away from his phone

“Oh no! You rejected her?” Felix asked in awe

“She’s Hannah’s age Felix, she’s like a sister to me” Chan said in a serious voice.

“But, you don’t speak so much about Hannah as you speak about Y/n, hyung. Even Lee Know Hyung doesn’t speak about his cats as much as you speak about Y/n or go to visit her” Hyunjin pointed out.

“You were even glaring at Inie when he was just being friendly.” Seungmin added

“Inie was flirting with her” Chan said.

“So? He flirted with Hannah too, you didn’t even mind that” Lee Know said.

“I-I. What are you even insinuating?! She’s to me, as Hannah is. Okay!” Chan said now under pressure.

“Hannah is your sibling please keep her out of this conversation” Hyunjin said.

“Okay then, she’s the same to me as Inie okay!” He said.

“But would you kiss Inie?” Hyunjin asked

“No. No I wouldn’t Hyunjin!” Chan said

“Would you kiss Y/n?” Seungmin asked and Chan’s eyes went wide “No I- I-” and he went quiet.

Who is he kidding of course he has stared at your lips numerous times when you speak. He remembers how hus heart picks up pace whenever you’re in a close proximity. Besides Lee Know was right, you did glare at Inie but it wasn’t because he was flirting, or not only just because of that, he might have also been a bit jealous. Not to add how crazy he missed you when you started to distance him and how his heart almost summersaulted in his chest when you confessed to him, how did he ignore all these stuff. Oh God! He likes You! His realisation threw him into a state of shock.

“But she’s my sister’s best friend. She’s Hannah’s age” Chan whishpered

“She’s just A FEW YEARS, younger. She’s not A FEW years old” Seungmin said and Chan looked back at him.

As if on cue, Chan grabbed his phone and almost rushed out.

He took his car keys and drove off, destination: Y/n’s apartment.

He tried to look back and think, when and what changed in his mind to make him feel this way about you. That was when he realised, he has always felt this towards you. Yes, he was always in love with you.

You were busy watching a Kdrama on your bed in your comfiest outfit, fuzzy socks and glasses on. You were really tired, finding a replacement is a really difficult job and so far the only 2 candidates you found were all rejected by the company, they insist on you staying, but you really can’t keep on doing that. You- your thoughts were interrupted by a knock. You thought it was the delivery man with your Bibbimbap. But gosh were you wrong, as soon as you opened the door you were met with a red faced, out of breath Chan, who immediately hugged you.

“Please, please, don’t go! Please don’t leave me” and a string of many more incoherent things that you couldn’t quite make out.

“Chan! Chan! What’s wrong?” you asked hugging him back and patting his head.

“Please don’t leave. I would be so lost without you. I’m sorry I didn’t understand what you mean to me. I never realised this, but I-” he paused and took a deep breath, I have always been in love with you, Ple-“ Chan was interrupted by a clearing of throat.

"Y/n L/n?” A man said from behind him

“Yes?” You said as Chan pulled away to look behind him.

“He-here’s your order” the man handed you the package and looked suspiciously at Chan “Is he disturbing you, madam?” He asked, still looking at Chan.

“Uh? No, no. Thank you so much” you bowed to the man and he bowed back and walked away.

You kept the package on the counter near your door step and looked back and Chan. He looked so soft, and vulnerable. And as soon as he felt your eyes on him he held you hands in his and looked deep into your eyes.

“Please, be mine? I will do anything and take care of everything as long as you’re by my side” he said.

“I thought you’d never ask” you said, trying your best to not tear up, and within a blink of an eye you found yourself pushed in the house door closed and you pinned to it trapped between two of his strong muscular arms.

“What are you doing” you said almost in a whisper

“Something that I have done a long time ago” he said and slammed his lips to yours.

You were shocked, his lips were so soft and you froze. “Show me you want this too” he said in a voice that sent chills down your spine and heat waves to your core. And you wasted no moment to kiss him back and this was better than what you had always imagined. Chan replaced his arms, one on your waist pulling you even closer and the other to cup your cheek. You moved your hands to his hair to fist his soft brown curls. Damn you’ve always imagined what that would feel like.

He soon pulled away and attacked your neck, earning a moan in return and you had a plan. So you pulled his head back up by his hair as he groaned and attached your lips to his and pushed him back, until his knees collided and he crashed on the couch. As soon as he did, you stranddled his lap, threw away your glasses and kissed him, this time with more frevour, want and passion.

His hands had already gone to your butt to squeeze it as soon as you moaned he took his chance to enter your mouth. Your tongues are fighting for dominance. All these times of missing each other and the pent up want and sexual tension was finally released.

Your lips left his and you attacked his neck, and he groaned “Y/n~”. Damn, you loved the way your name rolled off his tongue, it was almost like your favourite melody.

Suddenly you felt his strong arms grip your waist as he picked you up and pushed you down on the couch and got on top of you with a mischievous glint in his eyes. He was about to kiss you when you said “Chan, the food’s getting cold”

“Oh, I think we can warm it back up later” he said and dived in to kiss you again.

In a Club in Seoul

"Hey Yoongi" Nayeon's voice was heard from behind where Yoongi and Jimin were sitting at the bar, as if on queue Jimin slipped off the stool and went to God knows where, Yoongi cursed under his breath to be left alone with Nayeon.

"Hey Yoongi. Why do you ignore my texts?" She asked.

"I was busy" he mumbled.

"You can't be that busy that you could not even answer a text?" She said running a hand on the back of his head and he flinched.

"I was. And do not touch me without asking me. Only my members can do that" with that he got up leaving the visibly "hurt" girl alone to find someone. At this point, anyone!

"Why do you keep rejecting her?" Taehyung asked as he sat beside Yoongi on the rooftop, 2 Clout beers in hand (A/n: yeah i did that 😸).

"Why won't I reject her" Yoongi said, grabbing a beer and taking a swing "I have no interest in her"

"Don't tell me this is about that literal dream girl of yours" Tae said with a chuckle.

"I knew I should have never told you" Yoongi deadpaned.

In a Restaurant in Ilsan

"Do you have to go!" Minji was heard saying, holding your hand tight.

"It's not my decision Minmin. The boss wants to shift me to the Seoul office" you said with a pout.

"Don't make a fake pout bitch! We know you also wanted to go!" Ryujin said, throwing you a french fry.

"Yes she does of course. Eunkwang is in that office. You better give us all the tea Y/n" Minji mumbled still clinging to your arm and you laughed.

"You guys that's stupid, besides I had a crush on him way back when I went for that 3 weeks project in Seoul and never even spoke much after that" you said, gulping down the soju you had in your glass.

Yes, you've been working in this construction company for the last 3 years, it's been 3 hectic years of you not being able to do much except work, but you were also taking higher degrees along with it, which you were finally done with, hence the promotion to Seoul sounded good.

"What is the first thing you wanna do when you reach Seoul. You'll have a week-long moving break" Ryujin asked interrupting your thoughts.

"Minji and I have a concert to attend" you said smiling at the drunk girl still clinging to you for dear life.

"Yeah I forgot. Enjoy you two!" She said giving your other hand a squeeze.

"I asked you to come too" you whinned

"I have a blind date" I told before, my parents set me up with someone again.

"Yeah yeah I know" you said bitterly.

"She's here!" Jungkook whisper yelled as they walked down the stage to change their dresses.

"Jungkook! Shhh!" Hobi said to lower his voice

"Who? Your mom?" Jimin asked

"No!" He said and went to Yoongi as soon as he completed wearing his outfit for the next stage and said something in his ears to which his eyes were wide and stunned.

Your breath hitched the moment you laid eyes on him, him and the dancers making the most beautiful black swan. His hand along with his wife shoulders wide open and you hit your clapper along with the rest of the Armys in excitement

"Girl, Yoongi has been looking this was so many times! Do you think he recognises you?"

You chuckled at Minji's silliness and said "Of course not Minji, he sees millions of people daily. He wont remember a single face from ages ago. He's probably found some interesting posters"

You both kept on cheering even though not being able to scream was a pain and difficult but you managed it. Especially looking at Jin, the most handsome man on the Earth. It was so difficult to not shout and awe when he dent kisses. But, something about the glaces Yoongi kept throwing toward your side was strange, even Jungkook kept looking at your side, you were after all near the stage. But, you told yourself it was nothing. After the whole concert, you were full of joy to the brim.

"They are moving out!" Yoongi exclaimed "I will lose her, again!"

"Calm down Yoongi! We'll do something about this" Jin told the distressed boy.

"I have a plan, don't worry Yoongi, I've got you" Namjoon was heard saying and Yoongi looked up to him.

"I've gotta say this, At first I thought I was seeing a ghost or something, when Jungkook showed me that girl. I've seen the picture Yoongi hyung got made by the sketch artist so many times, but never knew she was real" Jimin confessed.

Yoongi was heard to scoff. "You guys never listened to me! I told you I saw her"

"Sorry if we didn't believe you saw a girl in a skirt on a chilly night and then started seeing in your dream to be real!" Jimin retorted and added "C'mon we thought, you wete going Senile! Even Hobi hyung didn't believe you!"

"Hey" Hobi protested.

"I swear to God-"

"Okay Okay! Calm down, we're almost there, lets are Shihyuk hyung" Namjoon said

"You think he'll help?" Hoseok ask

"Oh I know he will" Namjoon said.

At Hybe Office (the next afternoon)

"So you're all sure you saw her yesterday, as in she's real?" Hitman Bang asked.

"Ah! I told you this won't work I-" Yoongi started but was stopped by Namjoon

"Hyung, please be patient" Namjoon said.

"I'm sorry Yoongi but this situation of yours is not specifically usual, you see" Yoongi tried to calm himself down cause even he knows the poor man is trying his best to understand

"I have an idea, but first can you pin point the seat she was in?" Hitman Bang asked

"Yeah, she was in the 2nd row, left side of the stage" Jungkook spoke out and everybody looked at him "What? I noticed" he said shrugging.

"Now we need to find the exact seat number through the videos and clips that are there" he said

"Sorry to interrupt but what will you do exactly?" Jimin asked

"Oh I have already started doing it. We have announced a lucky draw for the Tickets" He said

"And?" Taehyung and Jimin asked at the same time.

"We'll choose the specific sear along with the other few. A proof of the ticket and a concert selfie would be required to prove their point, and we'll ask for their contact details" He said

"Superb!" Jin said

"Then? Than what?! I just text her like a weirdo?" Yoongi exclaimed

"Now that, my boy is up to you" Bang PDnim laughed and turned back to his computer.

"First things first, we'll figure what to do later" Namjoon said and ushered the members out.

XcX Office, Seoul (A Week later)

"The presentation was mind-blowing Y/n" Eunkwang said

"Really?! I felt so nervous this morning" You said and left. Sigh it was your first presentation and you nailed it.

"So what are you doing later after the shift? It's a friday, any plans?" He asked

"No, just stay in and watch Netflix Ig" you said tucking a hair behind your ear.

"There's a restaurant I really like in Hongdae, they have happy hours on friday. Wanna join?" He asked, damn his brown shiny eyes. You'd be lying if you said your "small" crush on him, was not so small in actuality. Unknowingly a smile and a blush crept to your face as you nodded your head.

You were excited for your date, if only you knew.

In Hongdae

"Seriously hyung, did we have to come all the way here just for shawarma?" Jimin deadpaned

"You know I love specific places for specific food" Jin said, wrapping an arm around the shorter guy.

"Why did I get wrapped up in this" Yoongi said with a huge sigh.

"Oh C'mon Yoongiya breathe some air outside that studio" Jin said and chuckled

The three wore masks and caps, and looked around trying to enjoy a calm friday evening,

They were walking towards the restaurant Jin told them about but Jimin stopped when he saw something.

"Hyung" he called and the two head swiped his way and he pointed at a restaurant rather at two certain people

"Fuck! In all of this mess I completely forgot this possibility" Yoongi said stomping a foot "You guys go on I need to go back to the studio" he was about to go when Jin said.

"And do what? Just write songs! No! We don't even know if they are dating"

"They don't even look that close to be honest" Jimin said

"Don't indulge him" Yoongi told Jimin "I don't want to come in between them, if they have something"

"No of course YOU won't" Jin assured him "but we might? Just check" and with this he pulled Yoongi towards their new destination with Jimin at tow.

They entered the restaurant and tipped the manager off to not let anybody enter the restaurant and the manager accepted when he saw their faces.

"Show time boys" Jin whispered

"Target locked" Jimin said

"This is a very bad idea" Yoongi said while he face palmed, but he couldn't ignore the butterflies he felt in his stomach the moment his eyes landed on her. The one who keeps her away in his dreams. He felt like a school goer looking at his crush. He'd be lying if he didn't feel like throwing that guy off the chair and sit himself, talk to you, get to know you.

He shook his head and went to sit, yes of course they chose to sit at the table right next to you and if that wasn't enough, Jimin turned and said "Hello" to her when she were staring at them.

Yoongi heard a whisper from Jin saying something about "Mission Successful"

Meanwhile

"Wouldn't you wanna go grab a picture?" Eunkwang asked with a slide smile.

"I actually do" you said shyly.

"Then what are you waiting for?! Let's get you a picture with BTS!" he said and the both of you grabbed your phones and went there way.

"Hello" You said.

"Hi!" Jin chirped,

Damn he's more handsome up front

"Thanks" he said

"Sorry? What? Did I say that out loud?" You asked embarrassed.

"No. But your eyes tell that you were admiring me" he said and laughed a bit.

Yoongi was seen shaking his head. You smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Are you guys enjoying the evening?" You asked

Yoongi nodded and Seokjin said something about the weather being so good and you wanted to ask them where Jimin was but couldn't.

"Is that guy your boyfriend?" Jin suddenly whisper asked

"Hyung!" Yoongi sneered

"No, no! He's just a friend" you said smiling

"Good. You can do better" you heard Jimin saying from behind Jin.

"Sorry I was in the washroom" he said "Hello I am Jimin, what... Is your name?" He suddenly said in english and extended his hand. And you giggled and said "My name is Yn, its nice to meet you" in english and shook his hand.

"Now we can click a picture" Jin announced, and you stood between Jin and Jimin with Yoongi beside them as Eunkwang clicked a picture. After congratulating them on PTD and complementing each of them, you went back to your table and they went to theirs.

"It's good that there weren't many customers to start off or it would have been chaos by now" you told Eunkwang

"Yeah I heard the manager telling the ones before you to not upload the picture right away. But you seemed to be talking quite much with them" he said smiling

"Yeah, they are really easy to talk to." You said.

"Apart from the pale one" Eunkwang commented.

"Yoongi? No he's just quiet" you smiled to yourself.

The day was an actual dream and you thanked Eunkwang 1,876 times for taking you there even if it was a coincidence.

You sent the picture to Rats and they went crazy. You were happy and content, you decided to rest and chill the weekend. You were about to enter your house and were searching for the keys, when a paper hit your fingers. You felt strange because you didn't remember putting it there, you brought it out and found it to be a note, it said:

What the hell? You thought.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" Yoongi asked in surprise "What made you think she'll text?! What made you think she can be trusted?!" He added

"I have a feeling she will and the rest is up to you. You're a smart man hyung figure it out" Jimin said

"I am doomed" Yoongi sighed

"Hyung, it's not that bad. Just talk to her and get to know her then tell her okay" Jungkook said

"That is IF she texts" Yoongi said.

"She will" Jimin said with a gleam in his eyes "I believe in the power of love"

"Aww Jimin ssi" Jungkook coo and said "But, I feel it too, there must be a reason why she shows up at your dreams"

"She was really fun to talk too as well" Jimin added, and the two got engaged in their own conversation when Yoongi stood up and walked out of the room.

And they both started talking, Yn told Jungmin a little about her self and Jungmin told her about himself. They both strangely found it easy to talk to each other. Yn got to know that Jungmin was a producer and loved music. Jungmin got to know that Yn is an interior designer for a leading construction company. She's like an architect but for the insides of hotels, restaurants and public places.

She got to know that Jungmin doesn't like working but realised that when he does work, he doesn't know how to stop. But the guy loves to nap, almost like a cat.

He got to know about her friends and how she sometimes misses her parents back at Ilsan. He also knows how much she loves pop music and loves this band called BTS. Yn knows that being a music producer himself, even Jungmin was a fan of their music.

3 months later

Jungmin and Yn often spoke on the phone, even though Yn insisted Jungmin never facetimed and said that he was shy. She had no idea what he looked like, but Jungmin had become an important part of her day. Jungmin was a busy guy, but he still looked out time to text her and Yn found that endearing, but she hoped that she could actually meet Jungmin soon.

"Hyung? Which base do you like?" Namjoon asked, Jimin sitting beside him. The younger boy sets down his switch and glances at Yoongi who has headphones on and is typing away on his phone. And of course he sneaked up behind him and peaked at the contact name and gasped.

"OH MY GOD! This is why you turned down Shihyuk hyung when he offered you her number because you had it!" Jimin said

"Yeah he did, he's actually smitten for her" Namjoon said

"You knew?" Jimin said

"Yes, only Namjoon and Hobi knew" Yoongi muttered.

"Tell me everything or I'll tell Jin hyung right now" Jimin threatened and Namjoon almost shook in his seat imagining Jin's rap scolding and said "No. No. Hyung will tell you, don't tell Jin hyung"

And Jimin smirked and Yoongi went on with the story.

"Jungmin?! You said your name was Jungmin?! Couldn't you get a better name!" Jimin exclaimed

"You and Jungkook were the only ones in front of me so it happened, okay!" Yoongi said sinking into his chair "But I think I'm gonna meet her" He declared

"Are you sure?" Namjoon asked

And Yoongi nodded "I trust her"

"All the best hyung" Jimin said.

A few days later

To say you were nervous was an understatement. You were probably shaking with nervousness and excitement. You were gonna meet Jungmin, finally. But for some reason he told you to be patient and not get freaked out. Was a strange looking? That's not a problem? Is he an alien?! That thought made her laugh.

You reached the cafe that Jungmin had told you. He said he'd be in a black tshirt and black cap. You noticed such a figure inside. But, the nearer you went the nearer you saw him and when he looked up at you, your world stopped

"Yn" he called your name and it sounded like honey to your ears.

"Jungmin?" You still asked in amazement. You thought of a lot of possibilities but this one never popped into your mind.

"I can explain Yn" he said and you nodded for him to go on as you took a seat. "I remember you, from the 2019 concert when we had eye contact. That night the moment our eyes met when I was in my car and you were standing outside, I could take my eyes off you. I kept staring almost like a creep until the car turned and you went out of my sight. I couldn't sleep properly for days I kept dreaming of you. Everyday, I saw you, but could never get close to you, in my lucid dreams. But then you came to the concert and I saw a new ray of hope" and Yoongi told you the rest.

"So, Jungmin comes from Jungkook and Jimin's names right?" You said smiling and continued"I understand why you did what you did. I kinda forgive you" you said and found the kitty boy beaming and it's obvious the two of you had a great time. He dropped you home and you were in a daze.

The boys found Yoongi laughing a bit more these days. The music he made had a sign of that. He seemed genuinely happier. Meanwhile, Yn was seen to smile a bit brighter.

Meeting Yoongi, facetiming Yoongi, having at least one Yoongi activity daily had become a part of you day. To a level that on the days you didn't hear of Yoongi, you felt incomplete.

Yes, you had a huge crush on this Kitty boy and hoped that his dreams and everything actually meant something.

Within moments you heard a knock on your door and you ran and opened it and were pulled into a hug. He pulled away and looked into your eyes and asked "You meant that?"

"every word of it" you said and you didn't need to say again, he could see it in your eyes and so you could see the amount of love and adoration he held for you in his eyes.

And he pulled you in a soft kiss, it was soft but it held all the feelings that the two of you had for each other.

Yes, the boy ended up cuddling with you night long and left early in the morning for schedules.

Bangchan

Being Chan's friend, like a real close friend is a treat. Being with him through thick and thin, even through his emo phase was something. The moment you step foot in Korea he'll rush to meet you and have you meet the rest of the SKZ. Even they would immediately love you, clinging to you "NOONA! NOONA!". Bangchan couldn't help but feel a bit jealous though when Changbin would sit a bit closer to you or you would pay more attention to him than Chan. I bet he'd have a deep thinking with Minho as to why he feels this when they come to a conclusion that he likes you. And everything would start to make more meaning.

Going from friends to lovers with Chan would be smooth because Chan is in general such an affectionate person. But, the hugs would be more random featuring kisses. There would be lots of them. Like, imagine just sitting and talking to Hyunjin about your favourite cafe and you hear squealing and a body dumped on you. Yes it's your adorable boyfriend and he'd talk to you in his baby voice and accent.

Minho

You've been his friend for a long time, since he was in Big hits, it was natural that someone or both would fall eventually. He would however keep it hidden. You would know very well that his tsundere act was just an act, he was a real softy from within even though he liked to show otherwise. But as days go by his feelings get stronger and stronger until one day he'll simply walk up to you and say "lets date". He did that before even realising but he took a deep sigh when you started to smile and said "After all these years you ask me out like this? Lee Minho!”

You both would be awkward at first, you'll have to slowly wait till the point he gets openly soft in front of you shocking everyone and at times you as well. Like how after a long day he naturally walks in a room to find you and cling to you. Or how he loves feeding you when he's eating even though you have told him you're not hungry. But he never backs down to glare if any member dares to tease him.

Changbin

Binnie is a sweetheart in general. Being really good friends with him would involve LOTS and LOTS of teasing and pranks. The two of you would always be at each other's throats yet you can't stay without each other. He would secretly be whipped for you and he'd tease you because he loved to annoy you and get your attention? Childish? Ik. He loves to annoy you but god forbid if someone else gets you upset, he'd beat the shit out of them. He loves to such an extent that caring for you and annoying you comes hand in hand as second nature for him. He'd probably be whining to someone about how cute you looked and how he just falls more and more for you and you'd overhear it only to jump on his back and hug him and say that you like him too.

Being his lover is almost similar but it involves him flirting shamelessly with you. Openly asking for kisses and whining when you don't. Chan and Jisung would call you up if he gets upset or when he would be over working himself. You would always be in his mind rent free. He would probably invite you to the gym to show off and tease you.

Jisung

This goof ball is an adorable friend. Always being the best boy and trying to cheer everyone up. He would probably realise that he's in love with you when he sees you upset and probably crying onetime. That urge of his to annihilate any cause of your sadness. He'd do whatever he can to restore your happy face and know in his heart that he'd do this everyday if required because he loves you. He didn't even plan to confess, he couldn't, even the thought got him all jittery. But you thought he did that because he loved you as he loved his members. So after seeing the two of you pining for each other Lee Know would finally lock the two of you up in a room. "I wont let you out until you both confess". And that was the push "I like you" the two of you blurted out at the same time.

Relationship with Jisung would be just like the saying "never a dull moment". But, he'd be more open to you, he'd let himself be vulnerable around you. He'd trust that you'd catch him if he falls, just like his members. He'd make you laugh and literally would never let you go to sleep upset, even if it was for a fight between you two. Lots of talking, you two would literally not stop. The members would call you if he suddenly gets anxious as even your voice calms him down.

Hyunjin

Having the leader of paboracha as your best friend and crush is difficult. He'd be in denial for years as he was sure you see him only as a friend. Not your fault if he would not get it even after you've dropped numerous hints. Well, he thought you said "I'd surely love to date Hyunjin" during truth and dare because you found him a great friend. So when he took a dare and the members made you kiss and he liked it a bit too much he'd start avoiding you. To point where if he'd see you walking from a direction he'd either hide or walk toward the other way. But when you caught him "HYUNJIN?! WHY ARE YOU AVOIDING ME?" You'd ask. "I am not" he'd reply without even looking at you. No matter what you'd say he would not look at you and say that he "could not" look at you. So you did it, you grabbed him by his neck and pecked his lips. The smile he gave was priceless.

You will always find another body beside you or clinging to you. He loves you dearly and really misses you when you're not there in front of him. He loves it when you bring him americano. Watching him dance would be your favourite hobby, it was before too but now it would include little makeout sessions in the middle, to a level Lee Know threatened to stuff his face with tissues.

Felix

Your personal brand of sunshine. You were always the one to help him face his convictions and insecurities and he loved you for that. Somewhere between a friendly hug and a kiss on the cheek he fell for you. He couldn't help but show more and more affection towards you. Be it hugging you more or saving you extra brownies and cookies when he bakes. But he will be very careful and a set plan to not confess because he thinks you'll never see him that way, never knowing you've been pining for him as much as him for you. Until one day you wont be able to take it and just say "You know what? I really like you" he would almost tear up and kiss you instantly.

Dating felix? Loads of hugs and kisses, that's his love language afterall. He'd just squeal and hug you, seeing you after a long day. He'd love to tease you though, using his deep voice to whisper in your ears giving you goosebumps. He'd love to get you coffee/tea even though ge doesn't like them. He's a literal sunshine and if he ever sees you sad or upset even if it's for him, he'll cry too. He'd help you go through anything literally. He'd also give loving nicknames, he knows his accent and voice is your weakness and he'd use it very well on you.

Seungmin

He is a literal smartass, too smart for your own good. He'll sneakily hide his crush on you, acting very normal. He'd know all about you including your crush on him. He'd flirt very smoothly, so smooth that even you'd have no idea when you gave up the information that you liked him very much. Flirting with you would actually be one of his hobbies, watching you get wide eyed and blushy, he found you endearing. It would be a secret but Seungmin would even let you hug him if you wanted to. You'd often help him in saving him from Hyunjin and Lee know attack of affection, not Chan's though, that's cute. He'd simply corner you and confuse you one day and then end up saying "I love you too, you pabo" and kiss your forehead.

Dating Seungmin is so entertaining especially seeing him have things sorted. A lot of dates especially those quiet ones where the two of you just sit together doing your own thing with a conversation or two from time to time. He knows what the two of you have is special and he would cherish you. Always make sure you're okay, you're comfortable. He'd have huge schemes of getting you to cool if you ever get upset because of him.

Jeongin

The two of you are literally the group's babies. Bangchan has adopted you and Minho has declared you to be his favourite child. Jeongin is a sweetheart and he'd always take care of you as you do the same. He always considered the constant urge to be with you or protect you to be platonic only to find his heart fluttering every time you look at him. "Hyung! I think I'm sick" he'll tell Felix and explain his "sickness". "No Innie, you're in love!" Felix said, and Jeongin went wide eyed. He'll then smile to himself and just get lost in you. At times he felt as if you were all he needed. Him pining for you got more intense and it was getting out of hand for the hyungs to see their maknae simping. So, they coax and force him to tell you because they knew, you had been pining for him too.

Being Jeongin's lover is actually a group activity as it includes the hyungs constantly cooing at the two of you even if your doing something as simple as holding hands. He had a habit of grabbing your hand and putting it inside his pocket together with his. Many a times, Minho had caught him staring at you to an extent where he doesn't respond to someone calling unless they shake him, but when you talk his whole attention is on only you. He sometimes just pulls you into his room and locks the door just to sit and talk to you with out the interference of the elders. All in all, he loves you to pieces.

It was late, like really late when Jimin heard a knock on the door. Who would visit someone at 12:20 am?! He thought as he grabbed a nearby baseball bat and looked through the peeping whole and sighed and opened the door.

"Hi Hyung" the younger boy said.

"JEON JUNGKOOK! WHAT DID YOU DO NOW?!" Jimin asked in frustration.

"Nothing. We just argued and she threw me out. Of our own house?!" Jungkook said as he just entered and took a seat on the couch.

"But why?" Jimin asked carefully to not be pushy or interfering. To that Jungkook just shook his head with an adamant look. Jimin knew he had a better shot at you than Jungkook, but it's late, he'll just deal with this in the morning.

"Hyung?" Jungkook called

"Eh?"

"Whats with the bat?" Jungkook asked looking like a confused bunny

"I thought- never mind. Just go to sleep. Good night"

In the morning, Jungkook went to the washroom with the change of clothes he always keeps in his car for emergencies, right after Jimin came out of his morning routine and shower.

"I'll be out for the day, I have schedules" he informed the elder boy who nodded.

As soon as Jungkook left, Jimin called you up "Hey Y/n. How are you?”

"I won't let him in until he apologizes himself" you said sternly.

"But, tell me what happened?" He asked

"What happened! WHY DON'T YOU ASK THAT RASCAL WHAT HE DID! And he dared defending. Ah! I'm so angry! Ask him" you said

"Okay okay. Calm down" Jimin said

The two of you talk about other stuff and work a bit more before you hung up.

What can I do? If neither will speak? Jimin told himself and decided to not meddle.

"Jungkook, it's been four days! You won't speak to her. You won't tell us. Do you wanna break up?" Jin asked as all the other 6 heads whipped towards him, even Yoongi's who everyone thought was asleep.

"What? No! She will talk" he said smirking "She's probably on her way right now"

"Oh my god Jungkook. Just WHAT did you do?" Namjoon asked.

Of course, everyone loved you, but god forbid when you were angry. Even Yoongi lowkey dreads an angry Y/n.

"But why DID you fight?!" Jimin asked curiosity eating him up "Tell us. By now this is a group agenda!"

As if on cue the door slammed opened and as anticipated, an angry Y/n was visible.

"Hey Y/n-ah" Jin said but you didn't pay a head.

"JEON JUNGKOOOOOOOOOOOK!" you shouted

"Yes love" he said with a smirk, now normally you'd just drop everything and hug him, you haven't seen him for four days after all, but not today!

"HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU PULL SUCH A STUNT!" you asked.

"Okay! Okay. Y/n calm down, Tae shut up" Namjoon stepped in and made you shit on a couch, Yoongi now sitting up straight.

"Take deep breaths" Namjoon demonstrated. "Yes. Just like that. Now tell us. What happened"

"He came to the apartment today, when I was in the washroom. I had made a beautiful sandwich, kept it ready to eat when I'm done showering and dressing up. This bitch ate it!" You said pointing at Jungkook.

You found his smirking and rushed with your purse "YOU. EVEN. TOOK. MY. KIMBAP. FROM. THE. FRIDGE!!!!" Hitting him with the bag with each word and finally sitting down on the chair beside.

"That's mine too! It's my house too!" Jungkook protested.

"DOESN'T MEAN YOU'LL DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! TODAY WAS SUCH A BUSY DAY! I COULDN'T GET ANYTHING FROM THE CANTEEN BECAUSE IT'S A SATURDAY AND IT'S CLOSED. MY PHONE DIED, I COULDN'T ORDER IN AND EVERYONE WAS TOO BUSY FOR ME TO SEND SOMEONE TO GRAB SOMETHING! I'M SO HUNGRY!" You almost broke down and Jungkook looked pale. Yes, you fought, but he never meant this to happen. He immediately ran out.

"Wow" Yoongi said.

"Can you please tell me why you fought? What did Jungkookie do?" Jimin asked.

"He didn't tell you?" You asked in shock.

Right then Jungkook entered with a sandwich and a juice.

"I'm so sorry babe" he literally kneeled down in front of where you were sitting. "I am really sorry"

"He cut the matress" you said grabbing the sandwich and taking a bite, it tasted like heaven after only drinking coffee and water for the whole day

"He did what? Why?” Hobi asked in shock.

"It was big for the new bed we got, it was just a little big so I altered it. Big deal?!" He said shrugging.

Before you could say something Jin already said "Why didn't you return it and get a new one?!"

"That's exactly what I asked" you said

"It's a lot of work" Jungkook said with a bunny smile.

"You're buying a new one!" You said "And taking that one to your game room!"

"Okay, fair. But why my game room?!" He asked.

"Cause it's your fault!" You said.

"Fine" Jungkook deadpanned

"Let me help with ordering the new matress" Jimin offered.

"You threw him out for that?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course not. This idiot was arguing with me and left the house himself!" You said.

"JUNGKOOK!" Jimin and Jin scolded together.

➳ in which it seems your potions professor is really out to get you. or in other words, you’re in love with your potions seat partner and you have to make a love potion.

“We’re what?!” you nearly shriek out, mouth full of the delicious pastry that suddenly isn’t so appealing anymore. You force the food down your throat, eyes wide in panic as you regard your friend.

“Like I just said, I heard from Lana who heard from her boyfriend who heard from another sixth year in Ravenclaw who’s friends with Snape’s TA that we’re brewing Amortentia for a test today. Isn’t that exciting! I wonder what I’m going to smell. I think probably lemon…”

You drown your best friend out with a loud groan, faintly hearing the cackles of your older brother from a little further down the Slytherin table. You weakly lift your head from where it rested unceremoniously on your plate, flipping up your middle finger.

“Shut up San. There is nothing funny about this.”

He only laughs harder, the rest of your friends joining in after he informs them of your… predicament. It’s no secret to your house as to why you’ve reacted this way. Potions has always been one of your favorite classes, and you love the hands-on experience you don’t always experience with other courses. The trial and error, the lack of predictability, it all thrills you. Plus, you’ve always had a thing for blowing shit up.

The problem right now is your seat partner.

Obnoxious, loud, mischievous, annoying, over the top, flirty. These were just some words you can and have used to describe sixth year Gryffindor Jung Wooyoung. Unfortunately, those aren’t all of the words you could use.

Love of your life is definitely one.

A hand rubbing soothingly on your back taps you out of your internal panic. Your close friend Yeosang had plopped himself to your right, and you saw the poorly concealed humor in his eyes behind the obviously fake sympathy. Yeosang had found out about your crush on the boy during the Ancient Runes class you shared when he had caught you doodling his name on your parchment like a lovesick school girl. To this day he has never let you live that down, always making some snide remark about “so much for the Slytherin ice princess.”

Because it’s true. Coming into Hogwarts, your brother and you were textbook, stereotypical Slytherins. You both were born into a rich Pureblood family, being brought up with the ideals of Mudbloods and all of that mumbo jumbo. But by your second year, the two of you were swept into a chaotic group of 11, the walls your parents had so meticulously built being torn down by the rambunctious group of mixed witches and wizards from all houses.

You had integrated into the group first, albeit hesitantly, thanks to your extroverted potions partner. He helped you unlock a part of yourself you never thought possible, forcing the prejudiced beliefs out of you and your brother. He turned you from a personified icicle into the talkative and fun-loving witch you are today. (you are definitely still a bit icy and cold, but he thinks that’s part of your charm.)

You’ll never forget your first interaction with the boy, as it lives in the back of your mind, haunting you daily.

“Oh lovely. Another batch of bumbling idiots I have to attempt to teach.”

You regarded your disinterested teacher with an equally blank face, watching as he scowled at the group of Gryffindors roughhousing in the back. Professor Snape shut his book with a loud snap, catching the attention of the students in red.

Once the room was silent, he began to drawl on about stuff you already knew, so you promptly drowned him out. Your ears perked at the sound of seat partners being assigned, heart dropping when a boy in red robes sauntered up to you, a laid back grin on his young face.

“Yo. I’m Wooyoung.” he stuck his hand out in introduction, and you did little to hide the disgust on your face at his action.

“Get your filthy hand away from me half-blood,” you seeth, haughtily sticking your nose in the air. You expected him to cower away from you, realize that he was beneath you and that having the guts to even regard you in such a way was completely inappropriate and insulting given his blood status. So boy were you taken aback by his boisterous laughter and the unwelcome feeling of a hand grabbing yours before shaking it violently.

“I take it you’re a Pure right? That’s pretty cool man! I’m sure we are gonna be great friends.” he flashed a blinding smile at you, before flipping through his textbook, completely undeterred by your behavior. You sat stalk still, jaw practically on the floor. You were about to give him a piece of your mind, when Snape’s low voice interrupted your rage.

“We use toxic fumes in this class, so please do everyone and yourself a favor by closing your mouth before you breathe it in Miss Choi.”

Your face reddens in embarrassment, Wooyoung’s choked laughter only fueling your humiliation.

You shudder at the memory, the reminder of your past beliefs making you a little bit queasy. You still cannot believe you were ever so mean, just because of something as petty and insignificant as blood status.

Due to your reverie, you hadn’t noticed the students filing out of the great hall until San taps you on the shoulder.

“Stop daydreaming about Wooyoung. We need to get to potions on time for your public humiliation.”

You scoff, outraged, chasing your demonic brother with a red face, screaming that no you were not daydreaming about Wooyoung.

“Today we will be brewing Amortentia. If done correctly, you should be able to smell things that you love. If you should fail, well, then you won’t I guess. Just please do not drink it.” Snape sounds almost bored as he explains the day’s exam, a complete contrast to the lovesick boys and girls practically giggling with excitement. Your fear excitement is masked by an indifferent face, though anyone close to you could practically feel the stress radiating off of you. Following the day’s theme of distraction, you don’t notice everyone has retreated to their designated workspaces until Wooyoung begins to drag you to your shared space.

“Okay so I think that the best way to go about this would be for you- hey.” Your head whips over to see him regarding you with a strange look on his face.

“You good snowflake?”

“Yeah why I’m fine stop asking me!” your words fly out of you at a mile a minute. Wooyoung’s fingers gently trace your inner forearm, a soothing habit he had picked up after years of being your best friend.

“Woah woah chill! It was just a question, snowflake. You were staring at your book like it was going to come alive and eat you.” he laughs, eyes twinkling. He squeezes your wrist three times before letting go, going back to his book. The two of you agree on how to split the work, and the idea of just failing to avoid the inevitable crosses your mind briefly. You shake that selfish thought out, because how could you do that to Wooyoung? Also, you’re really not looking to fail this class.

The next two hours are filled with easy conversation, loud laughing, and detention threats from your oh-so-done-with-the-two-of-you professor. You wipe your hair from your sweaty brow, proudly and anxiously looking at your beautiful love potion. The mother-of-pearl sheen glares at you almost tauntingly. Snape sighs and loafs over, eyeing your potion.

“It looks about right, and I smell what I know I should be smelling. Decent job you two.”

He turns away, and you sigh with relief. But your relief is short-lived, for he speaks up again.

“What do you smell Miss Choi? I’m curious since you both are the first ones who have completed it successfully this period.”

Your heart stops briefly, and you suddenly stop breathing. You stare at your professor for a good couple minutes, before he clears his throat.

“This is part of your grade, answer me.”

You feel Wooyoung’s gaze boring into the side of your head, and you shakily breathe in.

“I smell…

Roses. Your favorite flower.

My laundry detergent. You've been using it since you were a child.

Cookies. Your favorite treat.

Eucalyptus and mint shampoo. Wooyoung’s favorite shampoo.

And leather cleaner.” Wooyoung’s on the Quidditch team.

Snape nods once, and walks away to grade another group. You can feel Wooyoung’s burning questions, but elect to ignore the tension. You make eye contact with Lana, briskly making her way to her without looking back once. Lana looks at you sympathetically when you reach her, and you let out a weary sigh.

Wooyoung finds you three hours later in the Great Hall, munching on your favorite chocolate chip cookies while attempting to focus on your Care of Magical Creatures essay. He plops down next to you, swinging an arm over your shoulder and shoving his head in your face.

“Smell my hair.”

You let out a sarcastic laugh at his playful jab.

“Haha Woo. Very funny. Just reject me and go away. I'm writing about… dragons or something.”

But the boy is insistent, and after a few minutes of him pleading and not moving, you give in. you breathe in the scent of yours and his favorite shampoo, and your heart shatters. You roll your eyes and push him off of you, but his arm never leaves your shoulder.

“So you said what you smell. It's only fair I say what I smelled!” his carefree tone and light smile almost make you want to cry.

“Dude please don-”

“I smelled…” he begins, and you steel yourself to take the rejection like the badass Slytherin you are.

“Rain. His favorite weather.

Homemade lasagna. His favorite dish.

Rose perfume. Your favorite perfume.

And Japanese cherry blossoms.” The scent of the candle you always have burning when you two study together.

He laughed softly at your bewildered face, before speaking again.

“I’m in love with you, you’re in love with me. Hogsmeade?” You almost feel like smacking him for being so brazen, but it’s something you’ve always loved about him. So you settle for throwing your head back and laughing, agreeing to his date with a grin on your face that could rival the sun.

When you walked into the Great Hall after the Hogsmeade trip wrapped around Wooyoung’s arm, you were a bit caught off guard with the lack of surprise. Your new boyfriend must have sensed your confusion and blurted out,

“Everyone quick! Act surprised!”

You stared in disdain as a chorus of “Whaaaaaaaaat?” and “No way never could’ve guessed” rings through the dining hall. You look at your boyfriend, and he shivers at your frosty gaze.

“What? Literally everyone knew except you snowflake. I was not hiding it.”
