Changmin burrowed his nose into the woolen material of his coat, stuffing his glove-clad hands into his pocket as he waited for you to finish your shift. He lowered his head as he tried to not let anyone recognize him. “Min! I finished work early today!”

 You back-hugged him, causing him to smile. 

“Let’s go.” He shifted the umbrella to his right hand, opening it and he took your bag, looping the bag straps over his shoulders. “It’s snowing a lot today.” You noted, “That means hot cocoa and snuggle time later!” His heart fluttered and he pressed a kiss to your cheeks, “I can’t wait!” He said with the same amount of excitement, a bounce in his step. A loud whoosh was heard and rain started pouring. 

“Oh?” Changmin glanced at you as you stared at the fat droplets. You stuck your hand out of the umbrella, “I want to feel the rain.” As soon as you said that, Mother Nature had seemed to agree and the rain poured even heavier. Everyone around you two ran, finding shelter. The thunder sounded and Changmin looked at you incredulously, “We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you want to stop and feel the rain?” Before he could even stop you, you let out a high-pitched yelp and you spun in circles, a big smile forming on your face as you, shouting in joy. Someone yelled “You’re crazy!” to the left, but all Changmin could think of was how absolutely ethereal you look. It seemed like time had stopped and he was just laughing as you grinned, the sides of your lips reaching your eyes. 

He snapped out of it, “Oh my gosh! Come back here!” He lightly padded towards you and you giggled, “That was so fun!” Thankfully you had had your coat on and the hood over your head, but Changmin hustled you back to your little studio apartment. “Come on, you need to change out of those.” He unloaded your things as a silly grin formed on his face, recalling how child-like you were. You disappeared into the toilet, and he took the towel hanging near the window. He sat down on your bed and you emerged, clad in your pyjamas. 

“Seat here.” He patted the empty spot in front of him and you bounded to him and you curled up on the floor. “You should have joined me. It was refreshing.” You paused and you sneezed into your shoulder. “And if I did, who is going to take care of us when we’re sick, hmm?” He lightly draped the towel over your head and dried your hair. 

“Uhm...Jacob oppa?” Changmin let out a huff, “I’m going to leave.” “Ah~! Changmin I was kidding! You know ” You laughed as you held onto his legs, and though you weren’t looking at him, Changmin knew you were full on grinning. You sneezed another time and Changmin scooped you up, “Let’s cuddle.” 

“I was just going to suggest that.”

Normal Jacob? Cute. A drunk Jacob? Utterly adorable. The thing is, no one really wants to be his drinking buddy. The other 10 members of The Boyz would find an excuse, usually leaving either Eric and Kevin behind since Jacob would giggle in English and the only the two of them can understand him. So when you heard a knock and an all-too-familiar laughter, you turned the knob and pulled the door towards you.

“Eric?” He smiled at you, “Hi noona! We’ve got a delivery!” Eric moved into your humble abode as Kevin heaved Jacob, “Hi. Parcel for the girlfriend of Jacob Bae?” You rolled your eyes, chuckling at their antics, “You know where my room is.” Kevin removed his shoes and he lugged a very tipsy, red-faced Jacob into your bedroom. They’ve been here a couple of times and every single time it’s because of a pretty drunk Jacob.

“Let me guess. A celebration?” Eric nodded his head vigorously as he made himself comfortable in the dining room, “Yeah. It’s to celebrate us getting first place in the Road to Kingdom!” He added the last part excitedly and you grinned, “I saw! I’m really proud of you all.” You reached out to pinch his cheeks and he swatted your hands away. “I'll grab water for the two of you.” You offered when Kevin emerged from the room, brushing his messy bangs out of his face, “Thank you. Awh dang, it’s a little too late to go back to the dorm right?” Kevin pouted, clearly meaning something else.

“Fine. You two can stay here for tonight. But as soon as the sun comes out, all three of you are going to go back to your dorm.” They held up their pinky fingers, “We promise!” Kevin once told you his fellow 98’ liner Changmin had weird tendencies and he had scared the life out of Eric and Kevin thrice, when he was drunk on three separate occasions. “Take off your coats and finish up your water. I’ll take the blankets out.” You did a quick work of settling the two of them and you bid them goodnight (and good morning because it was past 12 am).

Pouring a third cup of water and popping another two pills out of its shell, you headed into your bedroom. “Hi baby! Kevin told me we’re coming to see you.” He hiccupped and you pressed a kiss, “Hey boo, I need you to drink a little water.” You helped him up and he took a couple of gulps before gently nudging it. “Geez, how much did you have?”

“I might have a few shots. It was fun~!” He dragged out the final word and you removed his coat and placed it on the chair. “Let’s go to bed.” “No! I want to tell you about our final stage! Did you see me? I was fake fighting against Eric!” You hushed Jacob when his excitement got a little too loud but you answered him nevertheless, “Yeah, I saw. You were really dashing.” You tucked him into bed and he flipped to face you, eyes all hazy. Despite having drunk a couple of shots, you could still smell his citrusy scent and you gazed at him, brushing his brown locks away from his face.

“And...and I was so so happy! That we got first place you know? I had thought of you when we were giving our thanks. You’ve been here for me and I love you so...so much.” He hid his face in embarrassment and he giggled, “Yeah I love you so much!” You laughed, “I adore you too, my love.” In that position, Jacob fell asleep, his body hunched protectively around you.

“Jacob Bae, you’re just so...so endearing.”

Hyunjae excitedly toed off his shoes, ready to spend the remaining time of the day with you, but he stopped short in his tracks when he saw you still in your work clothes, typing away on your laptop.

“Noona~!” He called out and he watched as you lifted your gaze to look at him. Your eyes lit up and you opened your arms and he dropped everything to run to your embrace. “God I missed you.” His heart skipped a beat and a wide smile graced his face a you looked up at him, affection filling your gaze. 

He narrowed the gap between you and him, pressing a chaste kiss, followed by a deep kiss that left you breathless. He laughed when he saw how flustered you were, “I see that you finally used the chapstick I got you. You look so adorable noona.” You giggled at his compliment, “Thank you Hyunjae. It’s a nice gift.” He stepped back, “Have you been working ever since you got home at 7?” He glanced at the click which read 10:00. 

Before you could speak up, Hyunjae gave a little frown, “You need a break.” You sighed, “I know, but I have a presentation to prepare for.” You poised your hands over the keyboard, but Hyunjae grabbed your hands, “Let’s take a shower together. You’re going to be more refreshed after that.” Without thinking twice, you moved into the bedroom, lagging behind Hyunjae. 

There wasn’t any sexual tension or anything or that sort. It was purely Hyunjae fussing over you. As you were the noona, he tended to be babied in the relationship, but now it was him taking care of you. He liked doing it and he knows that you like it too. Stripping himself bare of his stiff button up, he led you into the standing shower, adjusting the water temperature. The water was scalding, just how the both of you liked it. 

He placed his hands on your hips and nudged your bodies closer under the stream of water. Hyunjae closed his eyes as you breathed a heavy sigh of relief. “Is it that good?” He laughed as you leaned on his broad shoulders, “Mmm, yeah.” Hyunjae lightly threaded his slender fingers through your locks, working the shampoo into your roots as you did the same for his hair, giggling as you did so. 

Hyunjae was surprised that you were actually comfortable enough around him to do this. Hyunjae had seen you naked…plenty of times, of course. You two were pretty much dating now, so it happened from time to time. But showering together like this was such a domestic moment and Hyunjae kinda liked it. Plus, the two of you don’t shower together very often due to hectic schedules. 

“Wait a second.” You stuck out your tongue as you attempted to arrange his hair, closely resembling a shark’s fin, causing the two of you to burst out laughing. Hyunjae held up a soapy loofah, sporting a smile that was uncharacteristically goofy, but oh-so-genuine, “Noona, I’ll soap you up too.” 

Hyunjae turned you so your back was facing his front and he hummed a little tune as he scrubbed. He did a quick work of soaping his body too, making funny faces once in a while to entertain you as you waited for him to be done. “There we go. All nice and clean.” Hyunjae reached above to grab the two fluffy towels hanging on the rack, wrapping you up first before dabbing the water off his chest and finally loosely hanging it around his torso. 

Stepping out of the shower, Hyunjae gazed as you shivered when your feet made contact with the marble floor. “Cold~!” You immediately retracted your feet and shuffled back to Hyunjae. He good-naturedly rolled his eyes as he easily picked you up. “And what do you say noona?” You pecked his cheek, “Thank you!” He laid you down in bed and you beckoned for him to lie beside you. 

“Should I continue working?” Hyunjae lifted the covers and draped it over the both of you. “Nah. You’re pretty much done with it, no?” 

“True. I just need to convert it into a video and send it to my students in two days.” Hyunjae pulled you closer to him, “Then you can afford to spend some time with me noona. Your students can wait.” 

“Fine, but can we get into some pajamas first?”

“joshua?” 

your muddled mind couldn't comprehend why your boyfriend who supposedly had class was here at your dorm. wordlessly, he picked you up like a sack of potatoes and brought you into your room. 

“my...computer is still on and i have a report to rush!” you lethargically reached out but joshua speedily tucked you in. 

“you’ve got to rest. you’re going to overwork yourself.” 

“ah vernon! i told him to not tell you about it.” you didn’t want to worry joshua, much less have him to come over. 

“i heard from him and I immediately rushed over when my class was over.” joshua simply stated and you looked up at him, his eyes full of concern. 

you stopped talking when Joshua placed his hand on your forehead and your face heated up. “you’re pretty warm. wait here.” 

you sniffled and you lay patiently in bed. a pounding headache settled between your eyebrows and you shut your eyes. 

“what did I tell you? your immune system is down.” joshua gently chided but he pulled you into his embrace, “here, take these and have a good rest.” 

you obediently swallowed the pills and cringed when the bitter taste hit the back of your mouth. softly chuckling, he closed the curtains and the door to your room. 

“no more working for the rest of this day.”

he crawled into your single bed and he spooned you, his much larger frame comfortably snuggled behind you. 

“high chance you might get sick, but i don't want you to go.” you wistfully added the last part and his warm breath tickled the back of your neck, “i’m not planning to go anyways. my immune system is stronger than you think.” 

and just like that, the two of you slept in a peaceful silence.

“So I guess playing with water guns in the cold weather wasn’t the best idea, hm?” Jeno dug out the fever pills and handed them to you. Jeno leaned his back against the kitchen counter as you gulped down the pills, grimacing as you did so. Chenle sat beside you, pouting. “I’m not going to die Chenle. I’ll be better soon. I swear.” You pinky promised and Chenle left. Jeno knew you were trying to reassure him, but judging from your hunched back, you were hiding it.

“Off to bed. I’ll make sure the rest stays quiet.” Jeno tapped your thigh, motioning you to stand up. You huffed, “Can you piggy-back me? I think my legs just went bleh. And my head is pounding.” You stuck out your tongue, attempting and succeeding in showing a dead face. Jeno good-naturedly rolled his eyes and you happily hopped on.

You let out a stifled yawn as Jeno tucked you in, “Aren’t you glad I’m the one taking care of you and not Chenle?” “Mhm. Chenle can’t even take care of himself.” Jeno hummed in agreement and when he heard you go silent, he knew that the drug has taken effect and he wordlessly left the room.

“Could you guys lower your volume? Someone that’s not Chenle is sick.” Jeno poked fun at Chenle and he threw a pillow at him. “Geez, hyungs! Stop looking at me like that!” With that he left the living room, escaping to his shared room with Jisung. Jeno sinked into the couch and flipped through his book, his eyes moving from left to right.

He finally had some free time outside his schedule to read this book, but his peace was cut short when Haechan raised his voice for the remote control, “It’s my turn to decide on what we’re watching today! Oh dang, I’m too loud.” Jaemin comedically widened his eyes, and Renjun hushed them. Sighing in slight frustration, he languidly stalked into your room.

He saw your bed sheets rustling and he froze at the door. “I can see you Jeno.” Your eyes surfaced from the blankets and Jeno laughed, “Hi, how are you?” “Like cotton in my system.” Jeno crawled to the end of your bed and proceeded to read where he left off.

“Are you finally reading that book I gave you?” You murmured, twisting your body and squinting a little to see the title. “Yeah.” A pause later Jeno suggested, “I’ll read it out.” You flashed him a happy smile and he reached over to tuck you in, a domestic action Jeno was accustomed to. Just like that, the two of you had spent time together, him reading off the book and you nodding off to la-la-land.
