Honestly the most unrealistic thing about Rhaenicent fanfiction where Alicent and Rhaenyra get married is not that they’re both girls it’s that their wedding is barely ever the shit show that asoiaf weddings are supposed to be

Where’s the brawling? The untimely assassination attempt? Their scorned enemies deep in their cups and possessed by the fucking audacity?

What do you mean Alicent isn’t sobbing as her nail beds gush blood? That Rhaenyra isn’t about to face the deathly consequences of some stupid assed shit she did a month prior?

The political fallout of this wedding should leave the seven kingdoms in complete and utter ruin and you’re telling me those messy gay disasters pulled it off without a hitch? I’m just not buying it.
