just found out that i probably have RSD as well as ADHD and fuck. That explains so much. Like why I get anxiety over almost every post I make on here, why I am terrified of public speaking when I used to be fine, why I can't imagine ever asking someone out unless I'm sure they like me back because what if they say no? Why i feel self conscious and weird in front of random strangers i will never see again. So much shit that I thought was rejection trauma or something. I wish I'd known this earlier and I hope more people can learn about it earlier than I did.

Just thought about this and realised this is why fanfiction exists. Authors should take a lesson or two from some of the masterful things random internet people have written.

I can think of a lot of YA books that would be much more engaging to read if the straight white male protagonist was in a gay enemies/rivals to lovers relationship with the straight white male supporting character/best friend

Just putting it out there...

And it works the other way too, for books with female main characters. It would just be so much more interesting as a character dynamic!!

Or even take it one step further, if the main character or best friend was intersex, trans, bi, non-binary, agender, genderfluid/genderqueer/genderflux or a demigirl/demiboy, or ace, aro, or aroace. Even more that I can't remember too.

Fanfiction has ruined my once realistic lgbtq+ representation expectations for all books I read.

WE NEED MORE QUEER CHARACTERS!!!!

Doesn't have to be romantic, in fact a lot of the time it would be way better as platonic! Just gimme them gays!!

Plus idk if it's just me but the best ships/character dynamics are almost* always queer. We are just built different.

Not saying straight ships are bad or anything, just really really overused. But we already know that.

I keep creating random hybrid words

Well, I've only created two so far. But still, it's worth noting that it's happened twice. First I was chatting with my friends and one of them made a deez nutz joke. Then another mentioned skibidi, and without thinking about it, I replied 'skibideez nutz'. The friend kinda just stood there until i said 'gottem' and reaction kicked in and they burst out laughing.

Secondly, I was (again) hanging out with some friends and we were Talbot about sexuality and neurodivergency and I said at one point 'I have gaydhd' and one of them just nodded, like 'nice.'

I am very proud of skibideez nutz. Very proud indeed.
