"What Did You Do?" ( From Ruby For Kami HAHAHA )

"What did you do?" ( from ruby for kami HAHAHA )

My muse has been reverted to a child. Send "What did you do?" For my muse to still have their adult memories, or send "You can trust me, I'll help you" for my muse to having lost their adult memories.

“This isn’t my fault! It was someone’s quirk!” Kaminari pouted and crossed his arms because he could hear the ill hidden amusement in Ruby’s voice. Though it occurred to him that with his current 6 year old form, the pout probably wouldn’t help things. “Some guy stole a woman’s purse at the mall, and I tried to chase him, but then he did this and got away..” His hands crackled with electricity at his frustration. It was weird, because Kaminari knew how to control his quirk much better now than he had when he was 6, but it’s like his now tiny body couldn’t handle the quirk as well as his older one could.

“And Re-recovery Girl can’t heal me because I’m not really hurt.. We just don’t know how long it’ll last with the guy in the wind.” He couldn’t believe that he had to deal with his issues with the letter ‘R’ again, his small lips struggling with the letter. This was so embarrassing.

  There was nothing but guilt-

A shiver running up his spine as he heard her talk behind him. Kaminari had just came to relay his information and leave as soon as possible. He didn’t want to be there and wanted to be with his friends but-... “You’re not going to hurt any of them-...” Avoiding her question, he stayed staring at the ground.

“- You guys promised if I keep giving you the information...you wouldn’t kill any of them-..”

“It’s just a question silly. You’re so tense!” Himiko poked the other blonde on the back of his shoulder, and sure enough the muscles were rigid. He was always like this, so guilty and meek and scared. It was cute. But he always gave them what they wanted, so really it would save him some trouble if he’d just calm down about it. It was out of his hands now.

“I just wondered. It seems like a hero could kill a bad guy if it was to save someone else right? You’d kill me if you could to save your friends, wouldn’t you?” They all knew that Kaminari didn’t want to be helping them, it would only make sense for him to try to betray them at some point. They just had to keep him adorably scared for as long as they could, so Himiko walked around the boy to face him.

“Light me up before I could carve them all pretty.” The thought brought a smile to her face, though they had promised not to kill any of them, and she supposed he could cling to that empty agreement a little longer. “It’s okay, I don’t mind. I’d kill you too if I wanted.” She reassured him. “But I don’t want to yet, you’re too sweet!”

Main. Verse i

Follows canon.

Vigilante AU. Verse ii

This is not a traitor verse, as he will not be working with the League of Villains, and this is something that will be more of a canon divergence.

Shoto Todoroki wants to be a hero, not because his father wants him to be, in fact it’s in spite of that. He knows that hero society is flawed, just look at what the Number Two hero does to his family while still being praised by the public, but he wants to be one of the good heroes. He wants to prove that he can be good, but he also wants to prove to his father that he can be Number One without his help. It’s not until he goes up against Izuku Midoriya at the Sports Festival that his way of thinking is challenged. After this, Shoto develops friendships and a tweaks his goal.

He doesn’t necessarily want to be Number One, he just wants to help people. It’s after the fight with Stain and the ensuing talk with the chief of police that Shoto really starts to believe that the way things are set up aren’t doing heroes any favors. At best, it’s naive, at worst? It’s giving the villains an easily exploitable advantage, one that he’s seen them use before. He just doesn’t see justice in the system that would see his friends or himself punished for trying to stay alive, especially given their status as minors even if they’re training to be pro heroes. This is exacerbated further after the rescue with Bakugou at Kamino.  From there, Shoto was slowly forced to admit that he wanted to protect people without worrying about the system that seemed determined to impede him at every turn.

The change begins slow, at UA he’s louder about what he believes to be injustices or useless rules and is often more brutal when it comes to villains. If they’re trying to kill him or those around him, he sees no reason to hold back. Things become more clear once he graduates UA, he is happy to help classmates and other heroes, but he does not join a hero agency and the murder of a few villains are beginning to raise some brows.

“Have you heard anything yet..?” Eijiro’s tone was hushed, though he had already made sure that they were alone. But this was something he didn’t like to talk about, hell he tried not to think about it if he could avoid it. Every reminder was another reason that he didn’t belong at this school or around those he’d allowed to trust him. He wasn’t a hero, he wasn’t even a man. He was just scared. The only thing keeping him sane was that he wasn’t alone, Denki was working with the League too. And he was the one better equipped for communicating with them, so that let some of the pressure off of Eijiro at least. Still, he didn’t like to ask Denki about his involvement, he wasn’t sure he could handle the answers.

“I hate all the the waiting.” It was easier to try and keep himself a little detached if he could focus on the next task rather than simply spending time with those he was betraying.
