Ravens Valley, from a Storyteller.

I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. #EveningGrosbeak

The Evening Grosbeaks are back just in time to try our new, very simple homemade, feeding stations that have been installed just for them at, more or less, 20' from the house.

This morning they were like 30 to 40 of them with us for breakfast. And if they're satisfied with that, they could stay around here the entire Winter.

#GarterSnake

Just found a small Garter Snake near the SUV down the hill. These Garter Snakes are common in local habitats around here. This one is like 7 inches and can grow up to 52 inches in length. The saliva is toxic to amphibians and other small animals but not dangerous for humans.

So as they say..., catch and release.

#HubrisOfMan

The Hubris of man will never cease to amaze me.

By habit we post beautiful photographies on Tumblr but lets not forget that this is also a part of reality. I see this often and unfortunately it's only a small problem compare to what's happening around the World.

Never forget that we are a, part, of nature. A, product, of nature. Man thinks because he understands the workings of nature he knows better, he can do better.

Man is wrong.
