Why is the Astarion fandom like ''girlies'' this ''girls'' that? I'm an Astarion boy lover over here.
Nonbinaries and Men who are fans don't count to you..? ''It's gender neutral!'' Except, it's not. The average person will look at your posts and think you only mean women, when you only mention ''girls''.
Idk man, I'm noticing how excluded I feel on fandom posts because it seems to me people are convinced only women romance him.
Heck I don't like Welch for their controversy but I'm seeing people misgender them so very often.
Asked around and my NB friends feel bothered by it as well.
Bit of a vent, might delete later.
So I think I know why Eve isn’t seen or mentions as being in heaven, even though Adam is there. And also why Adam is the way he is. So in the most common telling of the ‘fruit of knowledge’ story Adam and Eve BOTH eat the apple, damning both of them to hell for disobeying god and damning all humans to hell unless they repent. Now in Hazbin, when Charlie is telling the story of her parents falling to hell she only mentions Eve eating the apple. Which implies Adam didn’t eat the apple, he didn’t disobey god so he still got to go to heaven. Because we know from the theme of the show that there is heavy theme of calling out that a lot of religion is about blindly obeying and that that it’s frowned upon by the angels to disobey or speak out of turn, we see it with the way Sera threatens Emily when she tries to speak out. So it would make sense that Adam not eating the apple may be the ONLY reason he got into heaven. It’s also implies that is Adam didn’t eat the apple that may explain why he sees killing souls as ok and ‘entertainment’, because he didn’t eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, meaning he might Literally not know why or how what he’s doing during extermination is bad. It might be why he has such little regard for those around him, because he literally never learned the difference between good and evil. And you can see that I lines like ‘don’t tell me your saying they don’t deserve death’ and ‘what the big deal’ when Emily finds out about the extermination that he doesn’t even remotely realise that what he’s doing is wrong. And I think that it would be really interesting in new seasons to delve into the idea that this is a god who doesn’t care about being good but rather only cares about having absolute power over all he creates. Much like the way that Christians often teach that god is like. Because from my experience that is the lesson I learned, that god want control, that he gives his love and blessing to those who blindly obey.
So I was raised Christian and heavily involved in the church, and as such it has given me the unique ability to rant about shows like Hazbin hotel through the lense of religion. I’m no longer Christian but the information has stayed. So here are some of my rambles for Hazbin Hotel.
Lilith may not be widely known as part of the creation story but she was indead in many original biblical texts as Adam’s first wife. And the reason she leaves him in the show is also very similar to why she isn’t in most modern bibles, she was too headstrong and independent and most modern churches don’t like to give women independent and headstrong female characters
The fact that Sera calls herself ‘the high seraphim’ bothers me because seraphim is the word for plural, the correct singular is Seraph Angel.

I am so tired of asexuals being boxed into the "sweet naive child not needs to be shielded away from sex"
what I am trying to say with poll is that Allosexual (a term for non asexual people) if you meet someone who is asexual don't just atomatically assume they are sex repulsed instead ask if you are shy here is a prompt
"hey I noticed that in your bio you said are asexual/on the ace spectrum and I just want to know what are comfortable with before I send you risky memes/jokes I want to honor your boundaries as a friend because I respect you. I am only asking this because I myself am not asexual but I realize that is is a very broad spectrum and want make sure I don't make you uncomfortable by maybe sending risky memes about character we both like"
Ok question for the witch/pagan side of tumblr. So you know how god-spouses are a thing some people believe in. Is there a parent/child version of that? Like is there such thing as a type of practice where the devotee sees their god as their parent/ god sees the devotee as a child? Like surely that a thing that at least someone does. I just had the thought the other day and couldn’t find anything through googling it and wondered is any more experienced witches/pagans who have heard of something like that.
