I Have A Theory That I Would Also Like To Share With You. So, While I Do Support The At Least Part-elf

I have a theory that I would also like to share with you. So, while I do support the at least part-elf Callum theory, the idea that I like most is that Callum is completely human. I saw a post awhile back that described humans as a sort of “blank slate” or an “empty vessel”(I give minami-the-door-lord the credit) that can connect to any primal source if they try. Cause they aren’t born with a specific arcanum. But once again I support both theories but I secretly hope that Callum is maybe the first human to figure this out. They also said that Callum just figured out how to channel the power of the sky through his body and expel it into a spell. I also remember the person who originally posted this calling Callum the “Magic Avatar” and that he’s going to “save the world” which was funny lol.

TDP: Callum x Elven Heritage (?)

*mild TDP S2 spoilers*

Okay so I’m all for Half Elf!Callum but after giving it a lot of thought, it seems kind of unrealistic to me. HOWEVER, I think there is a very strong possibility that he has at least some Elvish blood/heritage. A few reasons why:

Consider his physical traits.

The elves we have seen are all tall, and lean but VERY strong. Their features are pointed and their skin reflects their Primal Source. Callum, however, is very human in that he was very little strength (he is canonically not athletic at all) and is relatively short. Sure he will grow and can gain strength through training, but I don’t believe it will be to the extent of an elf or even a half elf.

Also, his skin tone is distinctly human. The Moonshadow elves have pale skin, but it is tinted with certain hues that are unique to them. Other elves (pictured in the intro scene, assuming they are the Sunfire Elves, Moonshadow Elves, and Skywing elf that I think they are) similarly have skin tones that are unique to their “clan” (for lack of better term. Callum’s skin while very pale, is very human compared to the pale skinned elves. Finally (for physical traits) the SHAPE of his features. Correct me if I’m wrong, but most (if not all) of the elves have very pointed and sharp features, with the exception of the round-eyed moments. Callum’s features, while on the sharper side for a human, are MUCH more rounded than an elf’s. And even though some will say “oh well maybe his human blood is dominant” I will have to respond: have you sEEN the elves??? As bad as this may sound, the Elves’ internal powers and their blood, as it contains these Primal Magic’s and such, would probably prove to be dominant in most situations, and any half-elven child would most likely be more elven than human.

However, I do think that, despite all I have said against it, Callum does have some elvish heritage (as mentioned earlier), because he CAN access the Sky arcanum and perform Primal Magic, even though humans aren’t supposed to be able to without a Primal Stone, and he does have some features that, while they could mean nothing, might point to some elvish blood.

The second part of my theory, which serves to prove rather than disprove, is that it is on his father’s side that Callum has Elvish blood. My theory, is that Callum’s biological father is a half-elf (or something of the sort).

Consider his Backstory.

We know nothing of his father and only a little bit of his mother in S2. We know that his father is gone. We don’t know how much Callum knows (though we assume he knows very little, if anything) and we don’t know if King Harrow even knows (though we assume he does, because he and Sarai kept no secrets from each other). If he were a normal human then his identity shouldn’t be an issue but as of right now, no one really talks about him, so we can assume that there’s something going on there.

(Now we’re going to skip the rest of this because I fell asleep after that last bit and lost my train of thought)

My final point-

As a human, Callum shouldn’t be able to use Primal Magic without a Stone, but he is able to unlock the Sky Arcanum and can now use sky magic. This leads one to believe that he must have some magical blood because it most likely wouldn’t be possible otherwise. However, he has to go through a LOT to figure this out, which I don’t think he would have had to if he was half-elven, because that’s still like 50% and it shouldn’t be that hard. Therefore, he has SOME magical blood (which allows him to unlock the Sky Arcanum) but not a LOT (which is why it is so difficult).
