I tried for months to draw this dude's face the way it looks in my head, until finally it came out alright.

A recent series of commissions for a D&D group. The character descriptions had a good sense of humor (a plum smuggling Elf, a socially awkward Dragon/Wizard, etc). I tried to take the Alex Toth approach and kept it simple, stupid. I don’t often get to do one off character designs so I had a lot of fun drawing these.

DnD Warmup sketches
I'm in a desert themed DnD campaign inspired by 1001 Nights and Egyptian Mythology and the like.
My character, Raihaan Seacaster, is a half-elf fighter, specifically a mirage flavored echo knight. He was originally inspired by Sinbad the Sailor, but Raihaan has taken on a life of his own as an oblivious Momma's and Papa's boy who used to sail across the sands. He's dumb, but he's doing his best. LMAO
Also here in the third picture is Jinn, the party's bard/warlock! Jinn and Raihaan are an unstoppable team but are also the kind to get into trouble the most as a duo.

Mommy issues? Daddy issues? Issues? All of the above. He is the phrase “tall, dark, and handsome” personified, but with additional adjectives added on like “isolated” and “probably kind of racist.”
After his father left and his mother died, rowan left his grandmother’s small cottage to pursue revenge (and alcohol) (and women) (and men). his religion and pursuit of vengeance has driven him to stick with a rather unlikely and possibly insane group of people. (He likes them (mostly) but he has to keep up the brooding act otherwise who even is he)

Very rough doodles of my bestie's old D&D charecter. Maizey Firebrand, a very quirky, to put it mildly, Two-spirit Half-elf cleric to a bi-gender love/fertility goddess. She took up Ranger class later. She took a long arduous quest to "sort out" her gender only to find out she was a demigoddess and was exactly how she was meant to be.
Better version of Maizey & crew. Not finished.
This other version of Maizey is coming out better, though a long long way from done. Very ink intensive.
Old stuff. Some simple character designs for our dungeons & dragons campaign. Was fun to work with a restricted colour palette.
