The New Pictures Of The Avatar: The Last Airbender Live Action Show On Netflix Looked Promising. Im Holding
The new pictures of the Avatar: The Last Airbender live action show on Netflix looked promising. I’m holding out hope that this is at least a decent show.
Although I’m not sure if this will be basically a retelling of the same story or if they’ll make some significant changes. It would be interesting to see the storyline from a more mature perspective though.

I almost hit a raccoon on my way home tonight, and after guardians of the galaxy vol 3 that just hits differently.
I love this so much, you’ve given me so much brain food for my maladaptive daydreams lol
I have brainrot now so here’s my headcanons about Belos and Ford interacting.
- Ford would be fascinated by Belos and want to study him. Belos would be excited and happy about Ford being around but he would also be a little suspicious. The second he hears about how Ford builds portals he gets this Gollum look in his eyes.
- Hunter would immediately bond to Ford and follow him around. Hunter would be seven or eight years old at the most but he would try to help Ford and be his little shadow because Ford doesn’t push him away after a while like Belos does. Ford recognizes that Hunter is smart and likes having somebody to bounce ideas off of but isn’t a fan of the fact that Hunter is employed by Belos. He explains it away to himself as different morality for a different world.
- Ford would get curious about wild magic and Belos would try to redirect him but it wouldn’t work, Ford definitely goes on a trip with Hunter to observe wild witches which gets Hunter in trouble (but not Ford- yet). They meet Eda (who has recently adopted baby king bc it’s 2012) on that trip and she reminds him of Stan quite a bit. Ford is oblivious to Belos’ abuse of Hunter. And Belos, of course, strokes his ego quite a bit.
- Eventually Ford sees the red flags. Belos pulls out his “we’re the same, we just wanna go home” speech but Ford isn’t willing to continue working with him especially after his experience with Bill Cipher. Ford’s like: I’ll go home my own way, thanks. He offers Hunter an escape with him but Belos chases after him to stop him from leaving and he has to leave Hunter behind.
-Darius and Eberwolf hate Ford the whole time he’s in the Boiling Isles. Raine briefly meets him and likes him which makes everybody else mad. Ford tries to touch Adrian’s tail, it doesn’t end well. Eda thinks he’s a huge nerd and Lily hates him at first bc she feels like she’s being replaced but she grows to really like them and they’re friends. Kiki is livid though.
I’m convinced that fanfic authors who write in first person pov WITHOUT making it sound weird are the rarest types of authors.
So I just started Amphibia, and I think I could start to like it once I get to the plot. But my question is, when do we actually start getting to the good stuff? Cause I’m on episode 7 and these endless filler episodes are kind of hard to get through. Especially when the plots of the filler episodes are very rushed due to two story lines being in one episode.
