the sexual tension between me at 3am in my bed and the 80k words fic with an interesting summary
Someone recommended to me this fanfic on livejournal.
It was over 80k words. It was beautifully written. Tragically wonderful. Angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, great OCs, amazing story. I spent all yesterday until 4 AM to read it and I finished it today.
There is one problem though.
The fic is incomplete.
Not only the fic is incomplete, it is left at the lowest low that the couple ever had. The one where you can’t even imagine “it’s all gonna be alright for them in the end” because things are bad BAD between them.
Worst thing? Last time it was updated was in 2008.
2008?!?
Who in their right mind recommends an incomplete fanfic from 2008 which ends with ANGST.

I’m convinced that fanfic authors who write in first person pov WITHOUT making it sound weird are the rarest types of authors.
Before ao3 I used to use fanfiction.net, and switching to ao3 was the best decision I ever made.
Ao3 is actually massively culturally important and very very good at being what it is. I’m so serious when I say that ao3 needs to be protected as the anti censorship, by fans for fans, nonprofit, volunteer run, expertly designed archival site that it is. You don’t have to read or like fanfiction to understand that on principle, ao3 is a site that should be defended.

This idea came to me when I woke up first thing this morning.
that feeling when you see that the comments are at a perfectly round number so you hesitate to comment because you have ocd
the only thing for which ff.net is superior to ao3 is that it is so much easier to find fics about the pairing you are looking for without having to go through each and every story where your pairing is mentioned once in 100k words
New ideas create writers block
The most annoying thing I find about writing is mid-story, getting a new idea for another story and you can't get rid of it. You make notes for when you finish the WIP, but it doesn't go away. It grows and grows until you've got writers block with the story you are currently working on.
So you start on the new story, promising yourself you'll just write a couple of chapters to get it out of your system before returning to your WIP. Except when you look at your WIP and the notes you made, nothing makes sense. You can't remember where you were going with the plot.
Fun Fact: The longest piece of literature ever written is a Loud House fanfiction called "Loud House Revamped".
The fanfiction is currently above 16,777,215 words (we don't know the word count because fanfic.net uses 24-bit integers to count the amount of words and this fic surpassed the computational limit), and is 2000+ chapters. It is written by Jamesdean5842 and is still being written to this day.
The story is about an OC named JD Knudson who moves into the Louds town and goes on adventures with them after creating a superhero team with them. According to the recap (Obviously not even close to finished recap) on Tvtropes.org, the fic consists mainly of loud house episode plots rewritten to include the OC and a multitude of crossovers with other franchises from any piece of media you could possibly think of. Some examples of the crossovers are Ed, Edd n Eddy, Naruto, Dante's Inferno, Inside Out, Matilda, Pulp Fiction, CatDog, Metroid, The Simpsons. This is a very small selection of the crossovers done in the fic.
Despite the fic's main characters being minors, the story contains lots of swearing, sex, romance, drugs, and violence. This is just the tip of the iceberg for this story, it is absolutely insane.
okay I am looking for fanfic writers in the HP fandom that would be willing to write a conclusion to a 2012 ronxharry fan-fiction called “love games” published on fanfic.com.
there’s this fanfic I have been keeping an eye on for a LONG while and I’m fairly certain it’s dead because it hasnt updated since 2012. but it left on a cliffhanger in chapter 29. I loved this fic I have commented liked bookmarked ect several times and even attempted to find the writer elsewhere (if you know “WiseacreWerds” or their other pen name “flintfyre” I’d love to give them all the praise and ask to commission a conclusion directly from them)
since I haven’t had much luck I was hoping to commission a conclusion from someone.
