It breaks me how easy it is to imagine Curufin in the Halls of Mandos with his father and brothers seeing Vairë's tapestries of Celebrimbor's torture and Curufin just starts sobbing and screaming because Celebrimbor may have left him but that's still his little boy. That's his sweet little yondo Tyelpë who he had cradled as a baby, taught to walk and talk, to read and write, watched him grow up and become a talented smith of his own, and now he's being brutally tortured by a person he thought was his friend and there's nothing that Curufin can do about it.
