In our final DnD session, I had been rolling so consistently bad, that when I did manage to roll a natural 19 on an unexplained roll, I thought the curse had been lifted. Turns out it was to determine how many years The Last Resort spent wandering in the Shadowfell while time continued to move forward on the material plane. Little Jemma was 3 years old when Axl rescued her and her brothers from a Yuan-Ti nest, and she completely changed the direction of his life. Meeting her again as a grown woman was very jarring to say the least.
