We have been passing through all forms of torture and pain for almost ten months because of the war on Gaza. Life is very miserable and tragic as we are now deprived of all means of living. In the World Of Darkness games - both of them - vampires are paralysed if they have a stake through their hearts. And this is considered "one of their weaknesses is having a stake through their heart"
But if you ram a stake through a human's heart, they just fucking die, which I think we would all agree is a worse consequence then being temporarily paralysed.
Ergo, by any reasonable standard, it's actually humans who are vulnerable to stakes through the heart, while vampires are resistant to them.

I am Abdul Shaer, 30 years old, married for 7 years. I was unable to have children due to an illness and took many treatments to be able to do so, but this is God’s will. My wife and I used to live in our beautiful home with my mother, brother and sister, which is now a pile of rubble.
This is our house before the war.

We were displaced five times during the war and now we no longer own anything. We lost everything we owned because of the war. We are now living in a friend’s tent that is not ours either.
For me, I was a football player, I played goalkeeper, I used to wake up to go to training and matches.
Now wake up to search for food and search for water if we can find it.
So I hope you can help me get out of Gaza and save my family and myself from this disaster. Thank you for reading my story.

it’s amusing to me how alarming the inquisition is as an institution and the only reason it’s remotely ok is because i the player am in charge of it and i know i won’t do anything weird and have the people of thedas’ best interests at heart but literally no one else in the game should be trusting me nearly as much as they do 😭

I could probably think of more examples if I wanted, but my point is this: Sometimes "fandom negativity" is necessary. Without people pointing out things like misogyny, racism, etc., we'd never see any improvement at all. By speaking about these things, we as fans tell BioWare that we are invested in their products enough that we care about seeing it get better.
