Paras and Parasect are two of my favourites from gen 1, it broke my heart that they're so weak. I still catch one anyway, look how cool and creepy they are!

To my surprise, Golduck was the more difficult of these two. I couldn’t figure out how it was supposed to swim ‘elegantly’ with that body plan.
Pokémon finished so far can be found in my shop.
Here’s two of my favourites, exclusive to me as a Blue player! No Ekans for me, but no Sandshrew for you, Red people. Sandshrew and Sandslash never learned very exciting moves for ground types, mostly normal-type scratching and cutting, but they’re so cute and tough! I loved using type advantages too, so I had a soft spot for any type that was fully immune to another type of move. Let’s see you stop me now, electric types! These little guys are available in my shop!
What’s this? A finished pencil drawing? It’s true! I started a new part-time evening job at the university library, which is extremely quiet when I’m there, and I’m actually allowed to draw to pass the time. It’s amazing! I’m used to retail jobs where doing anything non-work-related is strictly verboten no matter how quiet the shop is. So anyway, here’s Fret looking slightly distressed in his birch grove, the product of sitting at the library counter with nothing better to do. I’d like to do a painting of him and Larkspur soon to show their proper colours. I’m fairly often guilty of designing characters with important colour schemes and then drawing them in black and white all the time.
One of my friends recently got married and asked me to make her a guestbook for the reception! I actually remembered to take process photos since I hadn’t tried anything like the little window in the cover fabric before, so here’s some pictures of the book in various stages. (None of the page block though, I forgot.) Since the book was square I had a lot of offcuts from the paper. I hate throwing away paper so I made myself two dinky little sketchbooks out of it!
