Tsundere Cuddles

You and Diavolo had been dating for nearly a year now, about 7 months after the start of the exchange program, and he was slowly but surely getting you more used to physical affection.

It was.. rough to begin with, but over time you got a bit more warmed up to things. Dia would push you out of your comfort zone little by little, until you started seeking out affection from him on your own, which melted his heart.

And today, Diavolo was ready to try something completely new for the both of you.

Cuddling.

Neither of you had done it with a romantic partner before, and he felt as if you were ready for it, so, with slightly shaking hands, he picked up his D.D.D., and messaged you, asking if you could come over to the castle today.

You were slightly surprised he had messaged you so suddenly, but you were happy nonetheless. And so, you quickly started picking out the perfect outfit to wear, but in the middle of you grabbing your clothes, you heard your D.D.D. go off again. It was, Diavolo.? He sent a other message saying to get dress comfortably, like pajamas??

Was he not so secretly inviting you over for a sleepover again? ..possibly, he's done it before. You shrugged slightly then walked over to your dresser, grabbing a slightly oversized t-shirt and some sweatpants, tossing a hoodie on top then head to the front door.

Luckily, none of the brothers were out and about to question where you were going, so you were able to "sneak" out easily.

When you arrived, you had just barely reached your hand up to knock when the doors suddenly opened, revealing Barbatos, Diavolo's personal butler.

"The young master has been expecting you, please, come in." He spoke in his normal calm but slightly sweet tone of voice, moving to the side to led you in.

"Oh, uh, thank you Barbatos.." You replied with a surprised look, but quickly shook it off, walking inside the castle that had yet to take your breath away at the decor of it alone.

Barbatos just nodded, then led you to where Diavolo was, and more than likely where he was planning a ton of fun activities for the both of you to enjoy.

After a small walk, Barbatos had taken you to Diavolo's room, knocking on the door. "M'lord, MC has arrived." There was rustling on the other side of the door, then a slightly shakey voice responded. "Come in," was all that needed to be said before Barbatos opened the door, and stepping to the side and let you walk in, and see Diavolo in... a dragon onesie..?

"Ah! MC, you're here! I'm so glad you could make it, come come! Sit with me," he patted the spot next to him on his bed very excitedly. You agreed with a small blush spreading across your cheeks, matched with a pout forming on your lips as you sat down on the spot Diavolo was patting.

"So.." You started, fidgeting with your fingers nervously as you avoided looking your boyfriend in the eyes. He caught on to your slightly flustered state, starting to answer your question. "Ah! Yes, right, well, you know how I've been helping you get used to affection and such, right?" You nodded, slowly looking up at Diavolo with a curious look, telling him silently to continue.

"Well.." Diavolo began, but hesitated with a small blush adorning his cheeks as well. He took a deep breath then gave you a confident look, despite his rosey cheeks, "I invited you over to my castle today to ask you if you would like to try something new!"

You tilted your head to the side curiously, wondering what this 'something new' could be. "I read online that couples often partake in cuddling when they feel comfortable enough with each other. And I was wondering if you wanted to give it a try!" He looked at you with such child-like excitement, he was so precious, you found it hard saying no to him. Not only that, but because you knew he would stop immediately if you felt uncomfortable.

That didn't stop your face from turning into a deep shade of crimson at the thought of being so close with him however. You had gotten used to the random questions regarding affection from him enough that you were able to think about this thoroughly. And after a few moments of thinking, you gave him a small nod, silently telling him that you wanted to give it a try too.

"Yay!" He exclaimed with stars in his eyes, quickly pulling out his D.D.D., and going to his gallery to show you a few pictures. "I went ahead and looked for different cuddling positions that you might like, pick whichever one you would like to start with MC." He handed you his D.D.D. so you could look at the different photos. There were only three, which you silently thanked Dia for. You didn't want to be overwhelmed with a bunch of different cuddling positions, so you greatly appreciated this.

The first one was a half spoon position, where your head would be resting on his chest, and his arm would be wrapped around you slightly. (Like this)

The second one was called the embrace, where your face would be nuzzled against Diavolo's chest as his arms wrapped around you, hence the name.

And finally, it was just you laying on top of him, head resting against his chest. (This was the best one I could find-)

(Because all of them end up with you laying your head on his chest, pick your favorite <33)

You picked the one you wanted to try first, and showed Diavolo, handing him his D.D.D. back at the same time. He gave you a quick nod, laying down and waiting for you to cuddle up to him at your own pace.

You slowly but surely got into your position, but laid there somewhat stiffly, unsure of where to put your arms, where to put your legs, where to put your head, anything.

"MC, is it alright if I guide you a bit? You look a bit stiff there." Diavolo gave you a curious, yet caring look, waiting for you to give him permission before doing anything. Because you were so unsure of what to do, you gave him a small nod, trying to ease the tension in your arms slightly as Diavolo gently grabbed them, guiding them to where they need to be for the cuddling position you picked out.

"Is it alright if I wrap my arms around you now?" His voice was soft and gentle, almost like a fluffy cloud in the sky. You gave him another small nod, trying to relax a little as his arm(s) slowly embraced you, one of his hands started to rub up and down your back in a soothing motion.

He was so warm.. and surprisingly soft. With the combination of Dia rubbing your back and his warmth soaking through his onesie, you started to relax against him, your eyes starting to flutter shut as you finally let yourself fall asleep against Diavolo.

He had noticed you falling asleep, but didn't say anything so he wouldn't ruin the sweet moment you two were sharing, instead, letting his own eyes flutter shut, joining you in a wonderful land full of dreams.

About an hour later Barbatos had come to "check" on you two as you napped. That's what he claimed at least. In reality, he knew this was going to happen, so he decided to take a photo of the two of you resting peacefully for teasing purposes later.

Notes - AAAAAAA, this took like, a week or something. I loved writing this, but it took me a solid like, 10 minutes looking for photos of cuddling positions on Google. ;-; it was worth it however in the end ᕦ⁠(⁠ò⁠_⁠ó⁠ˇ⁠)⁠ᕤ

Comments - AWWWWWW, THIS IS SUCH A CUTE IDEAAAAAA 💖💖 I had to do some research before actually writing this, and any children they have will be nagas unless if they adopted children, so just to be safe, I'll keep the children a mystery so everyone who reads this can imagine this how they please <33 (If anything is wrong please let me know and I'll fix it right away!)

Parenthood:

📝 Daniel is 100% the fun fact parent

📝 When the kid(s) are off to school, and they come back having trouble with any of their homework he's there to help

📝 I personally like to believe that Daniel is well known in the world of science, so on occasion he's a special guest at their school for special experiments that are kid friendly

📝 When at home he's always working on something and I like to believe the children developed his curiosity (whether it be through their genes or impressions) and are constantly asking what this and that is, and not the usual "why?"

📝 Sometimes he takes a break from his larger experiments to do small (and safer) experiments with his kids

📝 They ranged from baking soda and vinegar volcanoes, growing beans in a wet paper towel, taking care of caterpillars until they become butterflies, to baking and talking about the chemical reactions that are happening

📝 As the child(ren) grow(s) older, he shows them some of his more dangerous experiments, with all of the safety precautions on of course

📝 Whether or not they go into the science field or not, he'll be there rooting all the way!

📝 I like to imagine that when they were babies, he knew exactly what they wanted with less than a glance and takes care of them he read a ton of parenting books and did a lot of research

📝 Whenever his child(ren) make a great achievement whether it be straight A's, perfect attendence, acing a test, to even experiments they conducted in their own!

📝 He's a proud father, and will forever remain that way no matter who they love or become in the future <33

Notes - Daniel would be the perfect father in my opinion. The research I did was really interesting, I learned quite a few new things

I'm glad you don't mind! Then, I'll request again! Though please tell me if you're not interested! It's headcanons of Obey Me characters except Lucifer & Belphegor notice GN Reader had a bad day so he went to check on them. They are still sad but they immediately brighten up upon seeing him! How would OM characters cheer them up? Sorry for repeating this similar prompt because I had a bad day and I really love your writing!

💸 If he saw you crying his instincts would kick in

💸 HA, you thought I was gonna say that he wouldn't know what to do, but you're WRONG

💸 The reason I chose the word "instincts" is because he has 5 younger brothers, he knows what to do when someone is crying and how to cheer them up

💸 10/10, the best comforter ever totally not personally biased

💸 But regardless, he knows how to cheer up different people based on their personality, he had to deal with different kinds and had to learn to adapt to the new ones and their preferences. With you, it'll be a cake walk✨

💸 He's so good at it you'll forget why you were upset in the first place

💸 Eventually after you've calmed down he'll ask you if you wanna talk about why you're upset, if you do then he'll listen and give the best advice he can, if you don't then he'll reassure you that you don't have to tell him if you don't want to then drop the subject altogether to keep your mind off of it

Leviathan

🎮 He's one of the worst at comforting, but he tries his best

🎮 Solid 4/10 in my opinion

🎮 His form of comforting you is grabbing your favorite snacks, and offering to watch your favorite anime together, or playing your favorite game together, or reading your favorite manga together

🎮 He might attempt to ask what was wrong but might not have the courage to do so, but will tell you nonverbally that he's there for you no matter what

🎮 He's more used to being the one comforted rather than having to comfort someone so he's a little awkward, but again, does his best

Satan

🧶 Another one of the better comforters

🧶 Why I say 7.5 instead of like a 8 or 9 is because his form of comforting would be taking you to a cat cafe (if you're not allergic/like cats, if so then he would take you to a normal cafe) and buy you as many snacks and drinks as you would like, as well as buying a few books you've been wanting to read (if you like reading, if not then you two just talk)

🧶 His knowledge of comforting probably came from his constant reading

🧶 He probably also read some human psychology books out of both boredom and slight interest

😘 100% fusses over you like a mom/older sibling

😘 Self care day, your choice if you wanna go to a spa, get a massage, or get a manicure, pedicure, or both if you want he's paying for it all 🤧

😘 There are no if's and's or but's about it, he's paying and you're going to relax and take your mind off of things for a while

😘 I personally feel like he would be the best person to vent to

😘 He gives great advice, great at analyzing, and knows how to read people in any situation possible

😘 You may not think so, but feel free to share your thoughts

😘 If you decide to talk about it he's more than willing to give his thoughts and offers tips or solutions for your problems

🍔 So he takes you out to eat somewhere, specifically to your favorite restaurant and orders your favorite food, as well as some dessert

🍔 He's the 2nd best when it comes to listening (1st going to Asmo) but doesn't exactly give the best advice

🍔 He tries his best, and ends up consulting Belphie or Lucifer maybe

🍔 He doesn't exactly know what to do when comforting you but he does his best

👑 He's busy most of the time, and he didn't get much interaction with other people when he was growing up so he isn't the best when it comes to comforting someone

👑 And that's assuming that he was even available to begin with 🫤

👑 Let's just say that he was for the sake of the request though

🍵 There's a reason for the 7-9 so stay with me 😭

🍵 7 is when he's had a bit of a longer/busier day

🍵 He's already feeling a bit more stressed out or overwhelmed than usual and can't find it in himself to be completely.. understanding

🍵 He will definitely make you two some tea and snacks whenever he has a small break but his advice won't be the absolute best

🍵 There's multiple things running through his mind at the moment so he's a little confuzzled

🍵 On a good day however is when he's at a 9

🍵 He's much more willing to listen and will give you much better advice

🍵 On days where he's at a 9 includes him taking a break from serving Dia and takes you to the gardens to make flower crowns as you vent your frustrations I love flower crowns leave me alone

🍵 I feel like this is what he does in his free time personally (I'll save this for a general Head canon request or if I decide to do it out of boredom)

🍵 He doesn't necessarily like plucking the flowers from the gardens but he knows a spell or 2 to replace them easily, so he doesn't really mind

🍵 He definitely gives you much better advice and even offers to bake something with you to take your mind off of it 🥹

😇 Simeon is a literal angel, let's get that out of the way right now

😇 Now, I feel like angels just have this calming aura or something like that around them

😇 And that helps you to relax and feel less stressed

😇 I feel like Simeon is just the best person to go to if you're having a bad day though

😇 He's the most calm out of everyone, and is the 2nd best at comforting

😇 And that is because you live with the brothers, they know you the best

😇 Simeon is just an exchange students like you, you don't normally spend a lot of time together

🪄 He would probably be better in the sense that he's a human and understands human emotions a bit better than demons

🪄 He's also very old wise so he would have some good advice as well

🪄 He would probably find your favorite fantasy animal and show you it, like unicorns or dragons, stuff like that

🪄 Or he would show you some fun spells and such that would both be easy and fun to learn

🪄 He's not the best at comforting someone, he leaves that stuff alone but he is good at distracting you from your problems if that's what you really need

🐶 Luke is a small child technically, he doesn't fully understand adult emotions or why specific things happen

🐶 He's not the best, and he shouldn't have to be because he is a child

🐶 The precious baby doesn't know what happened today, but is willing to help any way he can 🥺🥺

🐶 It's more than likely just you two baking together with Simeon and/or Barbatos but it's still a fun and helpful activity to do when you're feeling down

Random thoughts

- Y'know how in the 2nd episode of BW he spooked us about the spores, and we were upset? He totally does that several times before we meet Devlin

- Don't tell him I said this but he totally loves it when you layed your head on his shoulder in episode 2 so shhh

- Bro can't read or write (same 🤧) so I feel like Faithful tries to teach him how while they're traveling to the core.

- He doesn't really feel the need and pretends he doesn't care but on the inside he loves you even more for caring about such a small thing 🥹🥹

- He's also like, low-key insecure about not being able to read sometimes

- Hoping into dream world for a sec (when Albus was on the verge of unaliving) he would totally be a cuddly drunk I take no criticism on this.

- manz is smarter than he lets on.. most times

- He loves Devlin to death, and I like to imagine after the whole "Albus turning into a demon and going on a rampage" in the true ending anytime he sees Devlin asleep at his desk, workbench, or somewhere not normal and probably back breaking he uses his powers to teleport him into a bed or on a couch and into some pajamas

- He's more or less Devlin's big brother even though he's younger

- Dream world again, Devlin has a cat at the bar and Albus secretly gives it all sorts of treats that he got when he was on his patrols

- Faithful in the dream world paints and Albus has been her muse several times

- He's willing to sit for hours for her it's so sweet 🤧

- I liked to imagine that there are murals painted on the walls by Faithful (I'll probably explain this in a later post about my idea of that alternate world/dream)

- He would totally let you or Kerano play with his hair (I would for sure, love me some long hair on men ✨)

- He loves sharing tales of all of the creatures he's slain, battles he's fought, and some odd stories here and there to Kerano too

- Now, this is just my personal thought, but I absolutely love to think that Kerano is possibly Albus' child and they have a connection but he's more or less the wine aunt, but his variation is the beer uncle that brings his niece to bars but only lets her have apple juice and those bowl nuts

- We love him but he's not a good father 😭

- Would totally teach Kerano how to fight if she wanted to when she gets older

- And would personally beat the shit out of anyone's parents if their child was acting like a jerk to Kerano at school 😤😤

- Or just threaten to sleep with 1 or both parents if they kept doing it (you can't tell me he wouldn't)

- Devlin and Faithful would have to keep him in check if anything like that happened cause that man is a chaotic tornado 😭

Notes - I was relistening to the series and decided I needed to get a start on BW cause thoughts were popping into my head. More than likely gonna have a part 2, and if anyone wants to add on then feel free to 👀👀

(1/3) I'M FREE TO COMMENT!!! Thank you! The funny thing is that I felt better...then I had a bad day again XD So this made me feel SO much better! Considering how many characters I requested, I'm glad you made it shorter & I don't blame you not wanting to keep repeating! So don't worry about it! My Bad day request is so good! I love this especially how Mammon's instincts would kick in since he has taken care of his several younger brothers before, he's the best at comforting (Don't worry! I'm totally not "biased" either XD), he knows that everyone has their own preferences, it's quite easy for him in their case though, he would ask if they want to talk about it when they calmed down but he would respect their choice either way, Leviathan is one of the worst, how he comforts them is something I can see him do, he might try to ask what's wrong if he has the courage to do so, he would tell them non-verbally that he's here for them, he isn't used to it but I appreciates his efforts, Satan is pretty good, he would take them to cafe whether it's related to cats or not, he would treat them to snacks & lent some books if they read or talk if they don't, he would use his knowledge to comfort them, the idea that he read human psychology books is out of slight interest & boredom is funny to me XD, Asmodeus is so good but also fusses like a Mom/older sibling XD, just how many choices of self-care there are, he is definitely paying & they will relax, I do think Asmodeus is the best person to vent to with how sharp, understanding, & gives great advice too, I agree that he's tied with Mammon for 1st place,

Mammon is my personal favorite lol
