Cartoonish, digital art of Ace Attorney characters gathered around a summer barbecue. They're cut off about halfway down. From left to right stands Bruce Goodman, Ema Skye, Lana Skye, Angel Starr, Jake Marshall and Neil Marshall (a couple of years before the SL-9 Incident). The shading is a warm green, and the barbecue gives off a yellow glow. The background shows a lawn with roughly painted trees and a hedge. The foreground shows the edge of a table with a burger and wine glass, slightly blurred. Bruce and Neil are the closest to the foreground, at the far left and right respectively. Bruce smiles slightly nervously towards Ema, holding a mustard bottle. Neil grins, spatula in hand, looking over in Ema's direction. Bruce wears a polo shirt and cap; Neil wears a vest. The rest stand behind the grill. Ema looks mischievously excited as she squeezes ketchup onto an already overloaded hot dog. She has temporary star tattoos, braces, and a t-shirt reading, 'I told a chemistry joke...there was no reaction'. Lana looks amused beside her, holding a can of drink, dressed in a vest and jeans. Angel and Jake stand close and gaze at each other with flirtatious smiles. Angel, wearing a blue summer dress, strokes a finger lightly against Jake's chin. Jake wears jeans and a bandana, with a cowboy's waistcoat over his bare chest. He touches a burger on the grill with his spatula, which gives off smoke in a cartoonish heart shape.

My full piece, drawn last June, for the @seasonsoflaw calendar project! This was so much fun to work on 💛

The background shows an orange pane of elevator glass with the DL-6 bullet hole. It lets in 2 shafts of light. Black panels border either side of the drawing, with a dark green texture in between. To the left of the glass panel stands Gregory Edgeworth, carrying a nine-year-old Miles over his right shoulder, which faces the viewer. He looks tender and peaceful, smiling slightly, eyes shut. His glasses are splattered with blood, but he's otherwise unscathed. Miles is curled over his father's shoulder, left arm brought across his face, hiding his chin. The right half of his face is concealed by his fringe. His right hand is angled forward from under his left, hanging down Gregory's back. It clutches Yogi's pistol, which points downwards. Blue-white smoke drifts from the muzzle. Blood stains his cheek and visible leg, coating his hands. He stares at the viewer, haunted and wide-eyed as a tear is starting to fall. To the right of the other two characters is the adult Miles Edgeworth, in darker shadows. He's sat, curled in on himself. His left arm wraps around his front and rests on right shoulder. His right hand holds his head. He has the same expression as his younger self, sweating, fringe also covering his right eye. Blood stains his hand and cheek.
