If you wish this to be anonymous, you must needs present the illusion of even handedness. Refraining from degrading the Sad Monk as he deserves does not hide anything if you attack Gavin-Dono in the same breath, Rather, It betrays you, as you would preach the man's "virtues" given the chance.
As for your query, first, this is not a request for advice. Second, as neither of them deserve such accolades, I must therefore ponder over it as I read my other questions. I see there are others in here regarding the topic, including one from you. I shall respond to one of these with my answer.

I sent you an ask to settle a bet on who has better hair: Prosecutor Sahdmadhi or that fopp Gavin.
There is currently a pot of 30000 Khura'inesse Rudens (30 dollars usd) riding on this bet. I will give you my whole share of the pot and buy you a beer to see The Fops face if you say Prosecutor Sahdmadhi has better hair.
Which he does, scientifically speaking. Hate him if you want, this is not a personality contest. Nahyuta Sahdmadhi's hair is better than Drill Head anyday.

Isn't it? You are, after all, asking me to judge a subjective facet of appearance. You claim that the Sad Monk has significantly better hair, yet you also openly mock Gavin-Dono. Justice-Dono would, I believe, rank the popstar higher, and has only the most complicated of emotions on his gratingness. You may cry bias, but I believe you have a similar bias yourself.
But then, that is why you asked me, isn't it?

I work with Fulbright because, fool that he is, he is at least genuinely wanting to do the right thing. If he learns there is a mistake made, he will not rest until it is accounted for, rather then shrugging and saying "well, we probably still got the right guy"
Do you know how hard it can be to find an ounce of integrity?
I never had the chance to have Detective Skye as a lead in one of my cases, though I have seen her forensic work. She is at least competent, and was quick on the draw when I spoke to her. She is also in high demand, and is still a cop.
Perhaps we would be lucky, and she would be as good as people say. I may never know, as the Sad Monk has spirited her away to their investigations.
Compare and contrast then, with officer Lou Tennant. He had a sense of justice too, or rather a sense of vindictive recompense. He was one of the officers escorting me before Fulbright became the default, and was quite liberal with the electric shock to be given to unruly inmates.
Is it such a shock, then, that I'd prefer a dull, well-meaning man who throws his whole being into his work, rather than a man who may be brighter, but is more concerned with filling the jails then any code of ethics that may cross his mind?

It's a nice thought, not to have to consider availability when choosing detectives. It's also not a reality. Detective Skye may be all the things you said, I wouldn't know. She is also busy as a beehive, when she's not operating as a lead detective, she's working forensics, which all investigations may call on. Running fingerprints, testing for blood, comparing DNA samples-the woman is busy. And while you may say she has integrity, she is a member of police, and therefore open to scrutiny.
Do you claim, then, that there is another detective as competent as she, who I need not fight the sad Monk and the forensics team both to access? Shall I snatch them from Gavin-dono as well? Doubtful.
The only other officer I've actively worked with who's worth the clothes on his back is Detective Gumshoe, and he's hardly more competent then Fool-Bright is, besides being the chief prosecutor's pet.
Fulbright is also tolerable to work with, besides being easily accessed. He may be prone to mistakes, but he has better people skills than I do, people are more keen to speak with him then with me, a useful trait, especially when utilized correctly. I assume you've heard of the good cop, bad cop routine.
No, working with Fulbright is fine.

So a while ago I almost drew AA4 Ema but instead drew Maya so yesterday when I felt like drawing again I decided to draw Ema!
I drew her disappointed (or at least tried to, still gotta work on drawing emotions) and I don't mind how it turned out though I think her torso is unfortunately a bit small... oh well hopefully my next drawing of her looks better! Also I drew her with freckles because in my mind that makes sense for her.
Now time for a potentially controversial opinion... Ema Skye is my favourite detective. To be clear, love Gumshoe, he's great, wonderful guy, but, interacting with Ema in AJ/AA4 and, seeing her being so fucken jaded, so done with life (than again who isn't in AJ, everyone is depressed in that game), and everyone around her, leads to a lot of interesting interactions and, I would on purpose present random shit to her because her reactions where always worth seeing imo.
I think of course her being in 1-5 adds a lot to this as we know how hopeful she was as a teen and now, she's the same age Phoenix was at that point (well technically a year older but still) and well, even he's not doing well but she clearly still cares about him as the white powder (which I'm fully convinced Phoenix made sound like something illegal to Apollo on purpose to mess with him) makes her go from being a brick wall to Trucy and Apollo to being super helpful.
I also love her design so much, even if her pants are peak mid-late 2000's (which checks out given the year this game released) her look still slays and fits her character so well!
I could probably go on longer but I think you all get why I like Ema so much (at least I hope!) and I hope you enjoyed this post!

Yesterday I felt like doing a ton of sketching and after doing some Sims fanart I did some ace attorney fanart ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
Originally I was going to do one page with a bunch of ace attorney characters on one page but after drawing the first Mia portrait (the one I coloured in with crayons) I felt like I had finally found how I want to draw Mia in my art style! So I dedicated the whole page to her because I was hyped to draw more Mia!
Than I still felt like drawing but, decided to draw a different aa character on the next page and picked Ema, cuz she's a cool character and, I haven't drawn her with my dominant hand until now :3. also gave her a shirt with a myth busters reference cuz I feel like she'd at least casually watch the show ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
