Jesus christ, thank you. I am so sick of seeing people bitch that certain ships are "toxic". Like... who on this entire planet cares? These are fictional, made up characters that fans hypothetically pair with OTHER fictional, made up characters in their minds (or on AO3), and it hurts.... absolutely nobody? Because none of the "people" involved are actual living, breathing organisms capable of feeling fear, pain, or even love. Liking things in fiction does not mean you like, want, or advocate those things in real life. In videogames, I like killing everything I can and destroying everything else. Naturally, I'm NOT a serial killer. I love the yandere character archetype, especially when they snap and kill their significant other. In actual LIFE, where things live and can suffer consequences, I'm the first person encouraging people to leave abusive, controlling relationships. The whole point of fiction is to have a platform where you can explore things that are bad, wrong, or downright impossible in reality. Shipping and writing abusive relationships (or incest coughFEfanscough) is not bad as long as you make a distinction between fiction and reality, and let's be frank, if you can't do that, the problem lies with YOU, not these types of ships.

Lol when did shipping the hero with the villain become a bad thing. Shits been happening for so long. It’s an interesting dynamic, prime for angst and betrayal and tragedy, yknow, the kinda tropes people have loved for forever? For over a month, I've been working on my seasonal FEH banner Gunnerr series and have JUST gotten to the coloring stage (it's mostly taken so long because of the damn freezing weather and me being too cold to even hold my pencils). Two more pictures and I'm DONE with them, thank gawd. I have weapons for banner, but I kinda want to actually do the whole Heroes shebang and give them all stats, abilities, and dialogue too... but I'll prolly say "Fuck it" cuz that sounds hard. ((Nerr uses an "Engagement Ring" that functions as a green stone with built in DC and Gunther has "Wedding Bells" which is an axe with BA3))

It's NOT difficult, IntSys. I swear to god, if he doesn't get an official special variant next year, I'm making stripper versions of him for all the seasonal banners.

I think pms is the best cure for my writer's block. Seriously. For more than a month, I couldn't write anything, and now, I'm making progress just because my hormone-addled brain is screaming at me "Who fucking cares if it's good, just advance the plot you god damn idiot! You can go back and change it later; how can you be this fucking stupid and not be legally required to wear a helmet everywhere?!?!"

The "romance" in these event scenarios come across like Stokholm Syndrome. I wouldn't want to meet these writers, because I'd probably end up chained to a radiator.
