He’s a reader.

He wants to learn to read and write so badly that I think once he can, he won’t want to stop. He’s so proud of himself for finally learning and wants to put it to use and starts getting books. Obviously starts out with little kid books but slowly starts to get into chapter books and manga and comics. Chapter books are rare to find him reading since he likes the pictures in manga and comics, but he’d still read whatever he could. He’s probably not a fast reader, but he loves it. Loves learning new things. He’ll get so invested in the stories that he forgets it’s a story and starts raging at the characters for being so stupid. Ends up throwing the books a lot. But the first time the book falls apart, he gets so scared that all his books will fall apart if he throws them. So he starts to just close them and put them down when he gets mad at them. Will pick up other things to throw and destroy in place of the book. He’s also not very organized with them. Books are everywhere in stacks and scattered across the floor of whatever place he’s staying at. But he knows where each book is. He remembers where he put them. Even if he won’t reread them, he still likes to know where they are. They become a comfort to him.
