I think this may legitimately be one of my favorite songs from Helluva Boss.

The animation was flawless and really highlighted the raw emotion in his voice.

AND BLITZØ!!! That is the face of a man who realized he fucked up.

I’m glad he was able to take a step back and accept his faults in the situation. I hope that they can eventually find a way to make it work.

I recently watched Apology Tour, and I'm crying.

But I'm also happy because Verosika is there :)

Let's talk about it!

I overall think this episode is really strong and follows on pretty nicely from its predecessor. I actually think I prefer this episode to full moon, it felt better focused with less tangents. The episode was allowed to stay consistent with its focus which I feel was really important.

I feel like the dialogue between blitzø and Stolas, particularly in the first scene, was really well executed and had good tension. It was nice to see Stolas maintain his frustration while in clear anguish over the situation.

I feel like the writers do a good job of showing how both are affected by the conflict, though, if I am to be a little critical (it could just be me) but it seems they are leaning more sympathy towards Stolas than Blitzø.

I do think Blitzø is more flawed in the vacuum of the relationship (with his ingoing problems with relationships), but in this case, his fears over the aspect of Stolas' position could be explored more and I hope they have Stolas reflect on how that impacts Blitzø

I loved the humour in this episode. It was more subtle and didn't take away from the tone of the episode. I especially liked the twist of the characters from ep1! I also found it funny how Blitzø's words on that apology list seemed more accurate in spelling and grammar than usual 🤔

I especially loved the ending. Though I wish we could have gotten more about Verosika and her specific history with Blitzø, I feel like we were given what we needed.

I like how they characterised Verosika in this episode. Though she is evidently very resentful, she takes the time to actually talk to and reasonably criticise Blitzø.

Her talk of their relationship works as a nice parallel to the present relationship between him and Stolas, giving good advice for how Blitzø can be better with the people he has now, which leaves him, quite rightfully, letting Stolas have fun without him.

I really hope they maintain this level of space between the two for a little to leave room for independent growth rather than a rushed rekindling. Time will tell! Overall I really enjoyed this episode and think it's one of my favourites in the season.

Helluva Boss rant bc I am not ok after that episode.

Okay so just a silly little rant about the new Helluva Boss episode. So first off Vivienne Medrano if you don't let Stolitz have their happy little ending I will find your address in a very friendly way. ANYWAYS after that trainwreck of an ending and wanting to nicely bitchslap Blitz in a non abusive way after all of that I was thinking of what might happen in the future with the two of them. Hopefully in the end they will get together and everything will be okay but, what if that doesn't happen. I have multiple ideas of possible things that might happen for the future of Stolitz that aren't good so these better not happen

In the trailer for season two we saw that red avian looking dude who seems to be affiliated with the Goetia family and from what I've heard him and Stolas become friends or allies. Multiple outcomes can come from this. What if Stolas starts to move on from Blitz thinking that he does not reciprocate his feelings for him and starts developing feelings for this red avian guy who I don't know who his name is and don't feel like looking up.

Much like the first outcome, Blitz may start to develop feelings for someone else and start to drift apart from Stolas even more than before.

Going back to number one, Stolas can develop feelings for that red avian dude and they may get together. During this time, Blitz stops being a little bitch (sorry Blitz ily

Technically this goes with number three but still. If Stolas and that red avian dude get together, that guy might betray him. If he is working for say Striker or Stella or Andrealphus, he could be deliberately messing with Stolas's feelings and possibly have him assassinated.

Five and six are the worst for me since I could see the outcome of these happening. Something happens and Striker has Stolas pinned and captured and is ready to assassinate him. This time instead of Millie and Moxxie saving him, it's Blitz. Blitz takes down Striker and thinks that he's dead but once he's untying Stolas and confessing that he's sorry and loves him, Striker stabs/shoots him and he dies in Stolas's arms but not before Striker somehow magically dies.

And finally number six. This one is similar to number five. As an attempt to lure Stolas into getting himself assassinated/killed. Striker kidnaps Blitz and tortures him as a way for Stolas to sacrifice himself. Stolas goes to rescue Blitz and everything is going well. He thinks that he's eliminated everyone there, including Striker. He rescues Blitz and when they are walking out of this cave or whatever the fuck this will be in, Striker pops up from somewhere and shoots at Blitz. Sacrificing himself, Stolas jumps in front of Blitz and takes the bullet. He tells Blitz that it wasn't his fault and that he still loves him before dying in his arms. Blitz is now upset and depressed and pissed off all at the same time and kills Striker bc I want that bitch dead.

Gonna add one last one. I'm not going to type out number six all again so instead of Stolas dying he is taken to a hospital and recovers and him and Blitz get back together and live happily ever after.

Anyways there's my little rant of (bad) things that could happen in the future of the show with Stolitz.

new helluva episode has fucking ruined me, i'll make a post about it eventually (probably), but in the meantime i am distracting myself with this silly headcanon:

since we see a butler when stolas enters his fridge of fortification, it can be presumed that the staff is still in the castle. this very simple piece of information eventually led me to the idea that, despite the arrangement taking place literally every month, none of these poor guys know what the fuck is going on. all they have to go off of is "sorry i fucked your husband", some dude who broke into the castle and stole their boss's book returning once a month, and stella's daily bitching.

at some point, the staff stopped trying to figure out all the details and started placing bets. enzo's fully on team "it's a coverup, each night they talk about all the shady royal shit", whilst basil's a "just some silly gays" truther. they're freaking out over the episode the same way we are, not because of the stolitz angst, but because cedric has a couple hundred bucks in this thing and GODDAMMIT they want that money.

"Didn't there used to be a chandelier here?" Blitz blurts out. Stolas freezes where he'd been standing, fingers tightening on the bowls of food clutched in his hand as he looks into the doorway Blitz had abruptly stopped in front of.

Blitz throws his own towels onto a vase on the side and walks into the room eagerly. He doesn't remember any of the day they'd spent all those years ago as snot-nosed little shits like Stolas does, much as he's wracked his brains for it the best he can. But he does remember the chandelier, and he can feel the spark of memory connect to others, flickering like a dream falling out of reach, saturated with warmth and laughter and the blurry image of a distorted familiar face.

"There was, right?" He grins, looking up at the ceiling, where the golden rod foundations are still intact, now carved in and dripping with expensive diamonds. "We- we played here. Ah hell, I remember being fucking fascinated with that thing afterwards- I think Fizz tried to strangle me to get me to stop talking about it, heh."

He runs a claw over the metal, dust gathering on his fingertip. "Cause it was such a stupidly simple thing, y'know? Just glass and thread twisted together to make such a pretty piece. All those colors sparkling every time you moved. I wanted to make one of my own when I got older, to put in the office."

He tilts his head at the barely visible talon marks in the floor, seeing double as he watches them being made. "You- you tripped. Got entangled in the threads, didn't ya?" He laughs, overlaid with the cackling of ten-year old him and the sheepish laughter of the other kid as he helps Stolas out of the mess of knots. "Damn, that was funny. You were alright to hang out with. Don't remember the rest, but it was fun."

He stares up at the old thing for a moment longer, basking in the memory of a simpler time and two children chasing each other around a glass chandelier and laughing, unaware of how their lives would snag back onto each other later on. He smiles, feeling oddly sentimental. What were the odds, huh?

Then Blitz huffs amusedly. "I am remembering this correctly, right? There used to be a chandelier here? Fuck knows my shitty memory-"

He turns around and stops, smile fading off his face. He'd expected Stolas to be... happy or whatever, that Blitz had finally remembered fucking something of a meeting that had been so important to him. He's not expecting-

"Yes, there used to be," Stolas agrees, voice flat and mouth pinched and eyes glazed over. He grabs the towels and stalks away. "Stella broke it. It's not there anymore."

Blitz doesn't think he's talking about the chandelier.
