inspired somewhat by queer presentation terms and the term and flag lykoi lesbian. the lion is used due to being a common symbol of pride. the second symbol used in the flag is inspired by lions with shorter manes and maned lionesses.

- flag meaning: inspired by the yellow and purple intersex flag and the colors of african lions, for the yellow stripes.
