Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. I'm Not Going To Pick Between Being Comfortable In My Body And Being A Lesbian Because Someone Doesn't
I'm not going to pick between being comfortable in my body and being a lesbian because someone doesn't understand my identity. Trans lesbians don't owe you a look or a certain gender identity. Butches don't owe you womanhood either. Get over it.

If we didn't put so much pressure on men to be 'alpha' stone cold sex gods, we would get at least one step closer to preventing young insecure men being sucked into that manosphere shit. If we taught men that it's okay to be emotional, that their self worth isn't affected by how many women they sleep with or how dedicated they are to the 'grind', maybe then we'd see the makings of a better world. Less incels made to feel victimized by a woman's right to rejection, less young boys thinking that rejection makes them failed men. If we taught them that their self-worth isn't based on women, and that doesn't mean that 'women ain't shit', perhaps we'd see a breakthrough.
It's so frustrating that people tend to see women's rights in direct opposition to alleviating men's issues. We can do both. The patriarchy steps on men's toes too, it hurts everyone in certain ways. To abolish the patriarchy means to address women's rights and their struggles, as well as men's issues. that's a conversation that not many people are willing to have; they see 'men's issues' and instantly think 'misogynistic erasure of women's issues', and it shows.
Being sympathetic towards men doesn't mean the enabling of sexism towards women, nor does it mean ignoring how a man's actions can reenforce that sexism. you can hold men accountable without demonizing an entire gender for how they were raised in a system that aims to not only destroy women and their rights, but the men who are being dragged along by a rope thinking that's the only way for them to live. But how dare I try to make people see nuance in a nuanced issue? man bad and all that.
hey can intersex people call out problematic shit perisex people say without someone opposing us like we just advocated for the murder of someone's grandma? A transmasc TikTok compilation on YouTube had a TikTok that advocated for perisex transmascs claiming to have a 'hormone deficiency' in order to pass, and I pointed out that pretending to be intersex to 'avoid' stigma is a super fucking shitty thing to do, and the creator was all like 'not only intersex people have hormone deficiencies uwu' like pal not only is that iffy in terms of factual correctness it's also just further erasure. I pointed out that entitled perisex transmascs shouldn't fucking go around telling people they have hypogonadism and this person's FIRST INSTINCT is to go 'well not just intersex people-' shut up please.
me when the queer community invents another binary (it's progressive and inclusive this time guys I swear) instead of just fuckin, I don't know, ditching these wack ass binaries that do nothing but segregate us into groups of 'most oppressed' and 'less oppressed so you should shut up'
Really hate that the queer community's response to the creation of a gender trinary (girl, boy, and nonbinary, which is still not all-encompassing) was to... reinvent the binary. We just started grouping all genders into "masc/male-aligned" and "fem/female-aligned" and it's so fucking stupid. Even with the occasional allowance of "neutral/unaligned" it still maintains the binary as the standard. And then they don't let you use certain labels if you don't have the "right" gender alignment. The fuck.
always such a power move to use a flag you 'shouldn't' use, whether that be because the creator thinks your experiences are 'invalid', a group of bigots appropriated it, or people think it's cool to mock users of it. I adore the sunset lesbian flag, I adore the labrys flag, and I adore the 'toothpaste' mlm flag. These flags are symbolic of the beautiful experiences of queer people, and how we deserve to be heard, seen, and accepted. NOBODY gets to take that away from us.
"cis men dni" are you ready to come out of your "no boys allowed" treehouse yet. its time for lunch.
