Blood wetting his lips, Lunarre laughed as he dodged the lance and crouched where he landed. Assessing his opponent, a strongly-built young man - no, a Malak! - standing ready for battle if it came to that.

“Didn’t yer mother teach you not ta interrupt people when they’re eating?” he sneered.

Lunarre was not upset at all. How could he be, when a far more delectable morsel had presented itself? His fox-like eyes gleamed.

“I’ll forgive you though. You’re just the kind of meal I’m after!” 

Grinning fiendishly, he conjured balls of blue fire in his palms before launching a raging blast of flame towards the pirate. Adrenaline coursed through his veins and his mouth watered. This would probably be a tough fight, but that was fine. It was worth it. He would get there, he would definitely get there… even if he had to devour all the Malakhim in the world.

“Hee hee. Summed up my entire approach to life in one sentence right there!”

Lunarre shoots a wave.

“Yo, kid.”

“Curiosity might get the best of me. But we’ll see, yeah I gotta see~♪”

God bless Zaveid, honestly! He’s such a breath of fresh air to the party. All due respect and affection to Dezel - I do like Dezel, really - but he was a bit of a misery. Understandably, of course, but still. Most of his lines made things awkward or soured the mood in the party (excepting the times when his blunt words were necessary). 

It’s a shame he never got to carry on with Sorey and the others in a more calm, peaceful frame of mind, but perhaps that was never possible considering his nature. I don’t know, makes you wonder.

RIP Dezel. Glad he had some fun times with us before he left.

He knows full well on what he was talking to. The malevolence made that obvious enough. But still, it was nice to see some don’t just try and attack right off the bat.

Giving a shrug he let out a chuckle. “Well, I’m not as old as most around, but still older than a human could be. But I’d take that to be a good thing. Means you might still be able to hide among them with little problem.”

“Nothing much can be done for them.Just gonna go blind in time though it’s odd really. Why is my sight going?” He tilts his head as if in deep thought before possibly answering his question. “Could be I go to places with heavy malevolence to try learning more on dragons if there’s one around.”

“Though I can go with ‘old man’ I go by Kimuri mister hellion.” He grinned looking to him as he tried to focus on just what he looked like. 

“Dragons, eh?”

Lunarre had seen several over the years, but had not gone toe-to-toe with one in combat. He would have to get much, much stronger before he even tried.

Malevolence did crazy things to people - Lunarre of all people would know - so it wasn’t shocking to hear it was affecting Kimuri’s sight. In Lunarre’s mind, the solution to the problem as simple.

“Well, stop going near dragons and heavy malevolence then!” he said. “Dragon know-how isn’t worth going blind.”
