Hey guys I just wanted to share this insane ask to demonstrate that, as usual, we have to be very careful about sharing posts that are asking for money. This bot blog wasn't empty either, it had been reblogging other posts about Palestine. Block and report bots as necessary 👍
Keep your thinking cap with ya and stay safe folks 🍉
I actually love Ratio's "k" in the new quest because of two reasons:
1. He's very focused on finding the bombs and doesn't text anything else. It makes sense to me, and he's probably judging everyone else for joking around.
2. This confirms my favorite headcanon that I never shared bc I thought it was ooc:
"Please Dr. Ratio give me an extension I got hit by a space train and have almost died twice. I only need one more day. Thank you for your time."

I feel like a lot of people misunderstand one of the key points of Sunday’s story. It’s about how one man’s utopia is another’s dystopia. Ideals can’t really be “right” or “wrong”, but if you apply any of them on a large-scale and take away flexibility/exceptions then the flaws are quickly revealed. Sunday isn’t the bad guy for trying to make the world a better place, but he IS the bad guy for forcing his perfect paradise onto everybody else regardless of what they think is best for themselves. The guests and citizens of Penacony didn’t actually consent to the Sweet Dream because they aren’t privy to the same knowledge of the Express + friends, and quite a few aren’t even sober! It’s like offering somebody candy and then secretly saying that eating it is consent to move them into your neighborhood LOL.
Penacony is classic sci-fi, taking things we know and pushing them to the extremes. Sunday IS the antagonist and he IS the villain. He’s a not-so-subtle metaphor about what can happen when there’s corruption in a religion. As they say, “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” (And I’m not ignoring Gopher’s manipulation here, but that’s a separate discussion from Sunday’s role in the story. We’re meant to sympathize and understand Sunday, but we can acknowledge the circumstances and STILL disapprove of his decisions.)
Somebody whose ideals clash with Sunday’s will naturally want to fight him on every level, even if they understand where he’s coming from. Being angry or disgusted at Sunday is just as reasonable as sympathizing or connecting with him. ┐( ̄ ヘ ̄)┌
