Sonya Massey's family asked that the video not be shared on social media. You do not "have to watch to know this stuff still happens." Black death is not your education tool. You should not have to see us gunned down in our homes to see our humanity. If you truly care about Sonya Massey's story, donate to her family's gofund me, and don't use her death as your intro to police brutality course.

Israel has shifted its narrative on the May 26 Rafah ‘tent massacre,’ an attack on displaced Palestinians which killed at least 45 people and led to many being burned alive.
Initially described by Israeli forces as a precision attack targeting senior Hamas leaders, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed the next day that it was a "tragic mistake.”
Yet the Rafah incident is far from being the only instance of Israel’s deadly ‘mishaps.’ Here is a glimpse of some of the many ‘mistakes’ the Israeli forces have perpetrated over the years.
I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.

My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️

However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.

Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.
I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house
This picture is enough to show our suffering in getting flour to survive.

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
Your help can save a family from death, it can save a dream, an ambition, or a success, so please help me by donating or publishing my story so that I can save my family.

Driven by empathy and humanity, lend your support to save my family from a tragic fate.
I have hesitated and delayed for a long time to write these words and create an account on GoFundMe, but the need has become very urgent due to what I see of death approaching myself and my family.
To begin our story, it is important to introduce my family, who are the core of my existence and the source of my strength during these turbulent times:
My only son, Youssef:
is a wonderful and very intelligent child. However, from the age of one, he has been suffering from esophageal varices, which is the swelling of the veins in the esophagus. This condition causes him to vomit blood, which can be fatal if not treated urgently. Youssef's condition is what forced me to start this campaign to save him from death and to enable his treatment.

My husband Samer:
a very ambitious young man who loves life, works as an English teacher. We have a company for bodybuilding supplements.
It was the largest and most successful company in the Gaza Strip, but due to the war, it has been completely destroyed and damaged, and the goods inside were stolen. The goods are worth millions of shekels.

I am Deema, the mother:
I work as a pharmacist in my modest pharmacy. A month before the war, I had started studying for a master's degree in healthcare management, but the university was destroyed, the pharmacy was destroyed, and life and hope were shattered.

We are a family of three suffering for over 9 months from a brutal war that spares neither humans nor stones.
We have lost our home with all its dreams and memories. A two-floor house completely leveled to the ground!!
[Pictures of the destroyed house]

Since the beginning of the war, we were forced to flee our home in the north of the Gaza Strip to the supposed safe area in the south. But unfortunately, this was just the beginning. We have been displaced four times in the same southern area, fleeing from death always surrounding us ...until we ended up in tents and living the tent life.
Now we hope to escape death, we hope for the end of the war, we hope to leave the Gaza Strip, and we hope to live a decent life away from bombing, occupation, and destruction.
These efforts are all aimed at saving my child's life and securing urgent treatment for him.
It has been 9 months of hell and horror. This genocide has been too long to bear, and our mental health and lives are in constant danger. (I can’t describe enough what I have been dealing with daily in the hospitals for the past days. We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza, where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die, and even if there is a ceasefire, the destruction in Gaza is beyond prompt repair
Evacuation fees are expensive, especially now that I have no source of income. Once we can evacuate, your donations will cover our travel expenses and help us get immediate support in Egypt. There will be meal expenses, wardrobe expenses, emergency expenses, etc., but no generous contribution will go to waste.
To cross the “Rafah” Gaza-Egypt Borders, you need to have your name listed in the Crossing List (paid permit), and coordinators in Egypt who have the power to add my family’s names to the list at the border are now asking for anywhere from $5000 per PERSON! They will not add the names until we can prove we have the money ready.
ask for your help because this is not just my battle alone, but a battle in which we seek your helping hand to survive and preserve our families. Any donation, big or small, will have a huge impact on the lives of my family and me. I am grateful to everyone who donates, and I will remain grateful forever for giving hope and opportunity to me and my family to survive and build a better future.
Thank you for reading my story. For sharing my story with your friends and family. I hope, there is a ceasefire, and we can get the rest and safety we deserve to build our lives all over again. ❤️
