not sure how to feel about celebrities moving to tumblr... on one hand folks rejecting Elon’s tyranny and bolstering a platform that actually promotes democratization of speech is great. (on tumblr there are no blue checks or visible follower counts. you ride or die through the strength of your takes alone.) on the other hand get off my lawn. I am hissing like an irate goose

nesting coffins
“Archaeologists have lifted the lid off a 14th century stone coffin buried at the Greyfriars dig site only to find a second coffin inside. …Eight people were needed to lift the stone lid which covered the final resting place of a high-ranking member of the friary, or possibly a medieval knight, Sir William Moton.
However, as they hoisted away the top of the tomb a second lead coffin, with what seemed to be the mark of a crucifix on it, was revealed.”
from another article:
“None of us in the team have ever seen a lead coffin within a stone coffin before,” archaeologist Mathew Morris, the Grey Friars site director, said in a statement. “We will now need to work out how to open it safely, as we don’t want to damage the contents when we are opening the lid.”

I’d like to draw attention to this tag, because I’m a nerd
They are right! There IS no such thing as a fish! Sharks and trout, for example, are both considered fish, but trout are MUCH more closely related to humans than they are to sharks, making “fish” an invalid classificatory group (and don’t even get me started on lampreys)
