Looking back on it... The entirety of the Development & Research sector of DoodleCo is either unhinged, on weed, or both. First there's the Professor at the start, who has a weed turtle. Then there's Jan, the interim Head of D&R who is more than into some kinky shit. And there's Rebecca, who's depicted with weed and the most unhinged out of the Founder Trio. Which Portia takes after, she's basically her mother, but with depression and daddy issues. Yeehaw.

Have you all noticed how both Quincy and Teneson seem to find Portia annoying and a bother? (More ranting) Teneson just talks shit behind her back during our second encounter with him, it just ain't good taste. But consider that Teneson might've had to be the one that Quincy spends a lot of time as a child. I'm thinking that Teneson rubbed off on Quincy. And this caused Quincy to be more of a snob outwardly. Which y'know fits him being that way due to Teneson rather than because of Charles. Charles wants to help the people on island; he sent his executives to aid in the island when the thunderstorm came and caused destruction and obstruction. In Sketchvile, he built a lab there so that the place would get more people going there. He cares about the people on the island despite how distant he is. Charles is what I believe where Quincy gets his deep-down kindness and care for the people on the island. I am a firm Charles believer, and I believe that he means well. He might be very distant, but goddamn does he try to help. He doesn't seem like the harsh and cold type of father or person, he seems like he's a genuinely well meaning guy. For all we could know, Zavier's mindset of "The ends justify the means" could come from Charles.
Yooo she became depressed, let's fucking GOOO Also Portia gay? Suzie gay? We stan girls gay For a minute I thought she lost her arm in this art- I was like "damn she lost her sense of smell and taste along with an arm? hardcore" Now I'm really wondering if Zavier's around since I'm sure it'd be some fucking 2000's outfit with stars and a cool cape and like edgy haircut Since Zavier is Quincy's edgy phase

Suzie in DW: Starfall! unfortunately Portia having a better life means some other kid's got to take the hit. /j sorry Suzie
Just imagining the Special Legendary Doodles we catch aren't actually caught but instead we just have them on speed dial. It still fits with in universe explanation as they can still do their duties as being the of their respective area. And allow us to use them for whatever reason. Those Special Doodles are like Maelzuri and Graphite Lodge, Qilintel and DoodleCo Academy and Zerzura in the Oasis. They sense our capsule, and they immediately book it to wherever we are. Just imagine Player having Somniere and challenging TJ, bro you just give up at that point, your best friend has literally a God on speed dial. If they also caught Verdrok, they have TWO Gods on speed dial. Pair that with Louis and you get THREE Gods on speed dial.

I bet these fandom tags love me :)
I hc that Player and The User aka the one behind the screen, is like The Narrator from Stanley Parable. The User narrates everything about and for Player, without directly saying what they said. It fits. And it might be canon.
