I have come down with the sickness. Also I generally don’t draw finished pieces that much and that’s what I normally share here, and me being sick hasn’t helped. Anyway I got an idea for a new avatar

An eye avatar (may have siblings the are avatars of other powers) who specialises in making spyware

Siblings may be a corruption avatar who also makes computer viruses, but these ones simply infest and spread to all the files of the computer, and even into the hardware as maggots begin to crawl within it.

A web avatar who specialises in ransomware,

Their father was probably just a guy who genuinely enjoyed coding, so he taught them how to, but they ended up using this knowledge for more nefarious purposes, eventually succumbing to their respective powers.

Avatars of different tma fears reactions when being faced with the question “would you still love me if I was a worm?”:

The Eye: “I’d put you in a little enclosure for safe keeping. Probably take notes on you.”

The Lonely: “absolutely not.”

The Web: “why of course I would!.” [lying]

The Spiral: “but you are a worm? You always have been one. How could you have forgotten? You are so silly!”

The Corruption: “if you were a worm I would marry you on the spot!”

The Buried: “yes, but I’d probably put you back in the dirt where you belong.”

The Hunt: “no, I’d use you as bait.”

The Slaughter: “I’d put you in a blender just to watch as you get ripped into tiny worm shreds.”

The Flesh: “well with how ugly you are you might as well already be a worm.”

The Vast: “I’d probably step on you on by accident, woops lol.”

The Dark: “as long as I don’t have to look at you then sure.”

The Stranger: “why of course! You would be so much easier to dissect at that size!”

The Desolation: “nahhh I’d probably use a magnifying glass to set you on fire to be honest.”

The End: “sure why not, you’ll die eventually anyway. You being a worm would just hasten that fact.”

I swear I’m so bad at being active on social media accounts ;-; I have like a bunch of stuff I absolutely could post, but I don’t feel like it. Maybe I could schedule it so I post all days one week, and then the next week I don’t post at all, and then go back to posting all week the week after that? Idk. It would give me plenty of time to actually make stuff to post in the mean time since I can schedule things out and stuff Yknow? And that schedule would only apply to my art because there’s no way I’m being consistent with everything else.

I’m doing inktober! Each drawing will have an accompanying short story to go with it and each of these will be adding to one of my bigger stories wether it be an au or a fully original work. I will be specifying which story each adds onto but just know that:

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
