I've read a lot about this show and I just wanted to say a few things:
1st, the show is fun and, tbh, has way better acting than the original series had. Other than prue and piper's actresses' acting, the show was boring and forced.
The thing about this reboot is that the character's storylines are not that great, so far. I like Maggie, but her character's plotline is killing me. And I love Mel, but she's way too political and serious about everything. I understand where she's coming from and I support all her points of view, but I feel like she's using her beliefs as a weapon of attack and defense, at the same time, and I fear she will end up building a wall around her, shutting everyone out. Macy, however, I like. She's like a gift! She's so cute, intelligent, and the person I relate to the most out of the sisters. I adore her.
I like this reboot and I want to give it a shot. It has only been 3 episodes, things can pick up. Like some have said, it is not a masterpiece, but I have fun watching it and I would like it to have more than one season.

I just realized that Lucy and Parker are the Rex & Hannah equivalent of the new cast.
Season 1 of Charmed'98 was about a demonic couple who placed themselves into the life of one of the sisters. First to confirm she and her sisters were the charmed ones, then to destroy them.
I bet that’s what Maggies Sorority Plot develops into.
