He’s just an epic with fire powers who keeps getting pulled into an alternate hellworld where his double’s a girl, his good friend’s son is alive but consistently in mortal peril, and the common people cower beneath him as if he were a god. Like, he’s just trying to be the Human Torch, not some horror-esque version of Doctor Strange.

This has strong Fyodor Pavlovich Karamazov vibes, and you can’t convince me otherwise.
