I apologize for the lack of original poetry as of late.

I will be writing again as soon as possible.

John Updike wrote this poem in 1960 about strange, ghost-like particles called neutrinos. But our knowledge since then has changed. For example, there are now three types of neutrinos — all of which certainly have mass. Read a simple breakdown by Fermilab spokesman Kurt Riesselmann in symmetry magazine.

Does anybody remember this?

Actually, I own a copy of "101 Uses for a Dead Cat" (and I might have 101 More Uses for a Dead Cat somewhere in my parent's basement). It's one part disturbing to two parts amusing. I can only hope that they release a third edition that includes the hovercat.
