it's so funny to me how terfs want trans men to be butch lesbians so bad and then when we are, but still trans, they throw a fit. like you wanna tell us that we're 'confused butch lesbians' sooooooooo bad but then when we do turn out to be butch lesbians, but also transmasc/trans men, it's a problem. cis butch lesbians only!!! like do they want us here or not, because some of us are here and staying here regardless of whatever mental gymnastics they're performing over there.

they tell us we're confused and that we don't know what we want, but it is they who are confused and have no fucking clue what they want

I love you, nonhumans, that write paragraphs about their experiences on Tumblr. You are making history for our community. Thank you. Our community will never die out if you stay alive and just talk about your experiences, coined terms, or opinions.

No matter where you stand as a nonhuman, or even alterbeing, you are making history every time you post. Never forget that.

I love seeing posts from "rare" weres, therians with uncommon theriotypes, therians with experiences nobody else seems to relate to, endels and clinical zoanthropes with unique and diverse experiences as nonhumans, and somewhat personal blogs describing shifts, phantom, mental, or physical.

I just appreciate how humbling this community can be. I've seen the strange, the incredible, the bittersweet, the scary, etc. but it's all worth it in the end to know that I, we, are a part of a history most humans cannot fathom, and that's a gift.

when referring to myself, i will use first person pronouns. the only time i dont is when im around folks who dont know my 'types. though usually i just avoid talking about my alterhumanity at all around those people

Fictives of specific characters, when referring to your type do you say: I, third person, alternate generally, alternate depending on who you speak to or something else?

I'm assuming you mean fictionkins, since this isn't a plurality blog, but fictives/introjects are welcome to answer as well! ^-^

Hey, it's October now! Its my absolute favorite month that contains my favorite holiday.

However, Halloween and the days leading up to it can be very stressful for psychotic folk.

So!

Please:

Do not trip paranoia/strengthen delusions on purpose for fun. If you are in a position to stoke someone's paranoia or to ease it, do the kind thing. If you're faced with a delusion, do not advance it. This doesn't necessarily mean give an unwanted reality check, it just means do not take it further.

Do not take advantage of people's psychosis for a laugh. Don't pretend like real things are just hallucinations and that you can't experience them, and do not pretend that genuine hallucinations are real. You could do some serious damage to a person by making them think they're hallucinating when they're not, and you can do just as much damage if you convince them that what they are hallucinating is real.

Do not mock and demonize our mental illness with offensive costumes. We are not a joke. Don't run around in straight jackets. Its not funny, it's not quirky, it's not cool. Its ableist. Psychotic people, as well as many other groups of people, have faced years of active hatred and oppression. Its not funny to poke fun at those times of abuse.

Do not encourage the narrative of asylums filled with murderous, "insane" monsters or the stereotype of "crazy" killers. Go to a different haunted house. We are not a horror sideshow, we are real people who have suffered real terror, real trauma, and real challenges. Its not ok and it's actively harmful.

It takes very little effort to make psychotic people feel welcome and comfortable this Halloween. Please don't ostracize us.

Have a good October and a happy Halloween!

factives, factkin, and all other factfolk, i love you. never let yourself be chased out of our community for just existing as the way you are.

I hate how shame is such a common factive experience. Why should we be ashamed of existing?! We're "weird"? Good! Fuck normalcy and arbitrary expectations! We make others uncomfortable? Well, that sounds like a them problem, because we're not harming anyone, and one person's discomfort doesn't override another's right to exist as themselves in peace. Besides, it's not like they're gonna get over themselves if they never have to confront their discomfort, so I'm just gonna stay here and you can tell me when you're ready to treat me with respect.

Fuck shame!! I'm proud to be a factive and I'm not gonna be ashamed of who I am!!

i feel like many people use "straight"...wrong

it's used a lot to mean cis, het, allo, perisex, etc.

basically just not lgbtq+ at all

but that's not true

trans people can be straight and lgbtq+

intersex people can be straight and lgbtq+

neopronoun users can be straight and lgbtq+

arospec people can be straight and lgbtq+

acespec people can be straight and lgbtq+

polyamorous people can be straight and lgbtq+

genderfluid, bigender, and other gender non-conforming people can be straight and lgbtq+

i know a few people who are biromantic and heterosexual or vice versa, and they are still lgbtq+

and there are so many more identities that can absolutely be both

straight does not mean not lgbtq+

Not understanding something isn't an excuse to be a bigot, by the way.

My grandpa doesn't understand trans people, but he is supportive of me being trans.

I've never really understood nonbinary identies or xenogenders, but it's not going to kill me to call you a person instead of a man or woman. I don't understand otherkinity, but being supportive of your identity won't get me thrown into an active volcano. I don't understand lesboys but I'm not the sexuality police and I'm not going to say your identity isn't real.

Do you understand rocket science?

No? Well, do you constantly tell people that rocket science isn't real, that it shouldn't exist, that it's made up by the woke, etc?

No again? Then don't say that stuff about the identies you don't understand. It's not about you, it's about making other people more comfortable. Because if your identity is different than the norm, you don't always know if a bigot is just mean or if they're going to hurt you physically. Being supportive of identies you don't understand makes it clear that you're not going to harm someone for identifying a certain way.

I love the diversity of trans people

I love how each and every one of us has our own unique experience with our queerness

It truly inspires me every time to think about it, because even if all of us are different in one way or another we’re still part of the same community, we’re still a family in a sense.

That’s why is saddens me when I see so many other queer people cast people from the community because their experience with their gender and sexuality doesn’t align with their own experiences/what they expect that person’s experience to be.

Please love other trans people, all other trans people, because we only have each other, and I think it’s very special that we all have a different experiences with expression and sexuality.

i have been trying for like. months to explain how the relationship between butch lesbians and trans men is not something akin to polar opposites and this is all i got. like it's not like this:

I Have Been Trying For Like. Months To Explain How The Relationship Between Butch Lesbians And Trans

it's a venn diagram with a massive overlap in the middle. i'm not saying EVERY butch is a trans guy and EVERY trans guy is a butch dyke , i'm just saying it looks more like this:

I Have Been Trying For Like. Months To Explain How The Relationship Between Butch Lesbians And Trans

these are not "mutually exclusive" terms- they do not mean the same thing, but we can be the same people, an very often are. there is a long history of butches who identify as FTM, trans men, drag kings, genderqueer, genderfluid, transmasculine, male, polygender, and two-spirit lesbians, and so much more. the relationship between lesbianism and queer masculinity is inseparable and the only people telling you that butches and trans men need to violently separate from one another and be at each other's throats are terfs. even if we do not share identities, we share our struggle together as heavily misunderstood and unseen masculine queers.

we stand up for each other when our identities get confused by strangers, and we get misgendered. we stand up for each other when terfs and terfpilled people tell us that transmasculine people and men can't be lesbians, when people say "butches just want to be men", when people say "butches aren't real women", when people call each of us bull dykes and trannies, when people mock the way FTMs walk and talk and look, and when people tell trans men they're "just butch dykes in denial". we stand up for each other and understand each others struggles.

whenever a butch lesbian asserts they're a woman no matter how masc they are, whenever a trans man asserts that they are a man and not a butch, whenever a butch struggles to be seen as both a man and a lesbian, and whenever a trans man returns to the lesbian community while embracing their manhood, we are part of the same community, we share the same struggles, and we owe it to each other to stay strong.

we are not enemies. we are bedfellows, lovers, family, spouses, partners, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, siblings, friends, each others support networks, even if we don't share identities perfectly. whether you are butch and a woman, butch and a man, butch and something else entirely, a male, ftm, genderfluid, polygender, genderqueer, transmasculine, nonbinary, two-spirit or whatever else you may be lesbian, you are part of our family and your experience is worth being heard.

The reason people specifically have a problem with AFAB transfems, m-spec lesbians, and lesboys instead of AMAB transmascs, m-spec gays, and gaygirls is because they wouldn’t be able to spout radfem shit if they focused it on groups that weren’t “invading (trans)women’s/lesbian’s spaces.” It’s not because it’s actually transmisogynistic or lesbophobic, but because they’re radical feminists, even if they include trans women who are “woman” enough for them.

I howled with a boy last night, under the stars at college, he said first that he was scared to be loud, but he was simply scared of how people would perceive him being loud, we sat on old adirondack chairs over looking the pond, and I howled at the sky, he looked at me in awe, a woman so loud, not scared of the world, I said that if he howled I would be there too, two tones at once, but before I could even ask if he wanted that, he howled deep and loud into the sky, we did this, together.

Afterward he was full of adrenaline, I was too, we ran around deep at night, streetlights providing the light the shy moon could not.

We sat by the bell tower, on fours, and talked, he kicked a pine cone my way and I picked it up with my teeth, and set it by him. He told me somthing about love, somthing I lost in the chill of the wind.

Sometime were going to church point, to howl again, to see if the dogs on the other side of the river would howl back

Language cannot describe the experience of therianthropy, all it does is muddle it

That night I figured out what its definition was

It’s stories and poetry and love

Run fast, bite hard, bark loud

Peace, love, and gratitude

Hey all! This is an all-inclusive Alterhuman server for:

Otherkin, Therians, Phytanthropes, Theriomythicals and Fictionkin.

Multiples, Medians, Soulbonders, Tulpamancers and other plurals.

Otherhearteds/Kith and Synpaths.

Otherlinkers and Copinglinkers.

Vampires.

Starseeds.

Godshards.

And anyone else whose identity identifies as Alterhuman, though we do allow those curious without malicious intent to participate!

We aim to be friendly and open to people with any identity that isn’t considered ‘normally human’ while also speaking in-depth about our experiences and correcting misinformation spread by trolls here and there.

Please keep in mind that this server is:

Friendly toward systems of all kinds. If you disagree with Endogenic Systems, Quoigenic Systems, tulpas or soulbonds, this is not the server for you. We will not tolerate any harassment or invalidation.

A doubles-friendly environment. We understand you may be uncomfortable with doubles, but this is not the way we run our server in particular.

A serious environment. That doesn’t mean we don’t have fun, but we take our identities seriously here! This isn’t roleplay, remember! That also means that we do attempt to correct misinformation surrounding our identities.

Blacklist free. We have found that using a blacklist limits conversation topics. We do try to change topics whenever something possibly triggering comes up, and we have specific channels to talk about those sorts of topics in, but we don’t have a set-in-stone blacklist.

Opinion diverse. Many different people with many different opinions reside here and we wish to be inclusive for all. There may be people you disagree with here, but this is not the server to argue their beliefs. Regardless of the diversities in the religious and political views within this server, we still do not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, etc.

Ok with all of that? Continue on!

We feature:

200+ Members

Anti-raid protection and security.

A resources channel as well as terms and definitions channels for easy reference.

Channels for sharing your Art and Photography.

Roles for identities such as Otherkin, Vampire, Godshard etc.

Pronoun roles.

Fun bots such as Pancake and Tatsumaki.

Channels for Otherkin, plurals, psychology, spirituality, vampires and even a help channel for when you’re questioning!

Obligatory memes channel.

Hi! Genuine question, how can someone be physically nonhuman without it being a delusion? Asking because I feel less and less human by the day

one way i see a lot, which is where i tend to fall, is "i am nonhuman, and this is my body, so therefore my body is nonhuman"

im sure there are many many other ways but this is the one im most familiar with. sorry i couldnt answer your question past this!

☄️You’re facing a lot right now, and it’s okay to feel like it’s all too much. Life can be unbelievably overwhelming and painful, and it’s understandable that you’re struggling. You matter, and even when life feels heavy, your existence holds immense value. You’re not defined by the tough times; you’re defined by the courage you keep showing in facing them. Keep moving forward, even if it’s just one small step at a time. Even if you have to take a moment to pause. Even if you fall backwards. I believe and care about you☄️

So I decided to make a drawing challenge for systems and plural people (aka, me explaining Systember)

A list of prompts for "Systember", with a gradient of a plural flag in the background, for prompts 1-20.
A list of prompts for "Systember", with a gradient of a plural flag in the background, for prompts 21-30.

Systember is a lot like other drawing challenges, except instead of taking place in October like a lot of other ones, it takes place in September, and is focused on plurality and systems. (Why September? Purely because of the name. That's literally the only reason.)

If you decide to participate, please tag your works with "systember" so I can look at them all cause I'm a curious little goober :33 And please reblog this post to get the word out!

List and questions under the cut

Prompt list:

Together

Protective

Animal

Peaceful

Love

Family

Introject

Memory

Blurry

Switch

Spectator

Nonhuman

Self

Friends

Body

Sadness

Little

Happy

Glass

Headcanon

Gaming

Art

Relax

Hobby

Nature

Colors

Anger

Parent

Shiny

Your choice!

Questions you might have (and answers you might need):

"Do I have to follow the prompts?" Absolutely not, they're just a suggestion. I tried to keep them vague enough to allow anyone to participate. The plural experience is wide and varied, and this challenge hopes to celebrate that.

"Can I participate if I'm ____?" This challenge is open to all systems/plurals/multiples, no matter their origins or beliefs. If you share a body with other people in some way, this challenge is open to you. While I can't exactly stop singlets from participating in this challenge, it's not exactly meant for them. That being said, I want no syscourse to interfere with this challenge. We're here to draw, not to argue.

"What if I don't draw everyday?" That's fine! Do what you can! You don't have to make fully fleshed out pieces, you don't have to draw every single day, you don't have to participate at all, no one's holding you at gunpoint to draw these. Just have fun to the best of your ability.

"This was posted too late! I have no time to prepare!" Yeah, uh... I forgor. Sorry.

"Are you going to be doing this?" I'm gonna fuckin try! Although most of my art will probably be posted to @somewhatdailyanthrostuck since we have a lot of Homestuck introjects and I need ideas for my "daily" drawing blog.
